Great for ordering large amounts of food
Ordering large amounts of food for big groups can become overwhelming, especially when trying to provide variety to monthly meetings. ezCater helps with the decision paralysis. The user interface is simple and clear, the delivery fees are very transparent. The participating restaurants and delivery persons are always excellent.

Missing items
We ordered from two places both didn’t give us everything. Wingstop gave us no plates or utensils or any ranch or blue cheese dressing for our 75 wings. The dressing’s missing was very disappointing.
We ordered from burgerfi and didn’t receive any utensils, napkins or plates. What if we only relied on them for our party? Not great.

EZCater - frustrations but made it right
**Update**
After a couple of emails back and forth with EZCater, they did end up making it right. Updating review and stars as they did the right thing.
We are a small donut shop, EZCater took an order and we fulfilled. The customer called the same time the driver was there to pick up the order and asked if there were eggs in the donuts. Of course there is. The customer then canceled on EZCater. We had the product already made, the driver took the product and delivered and EZCater “refunded” the customer. In essence, they stole the product.

Reliability Rockstar
I chose the restaurant because it was a Reliability Rockstar. However, they did not arrive until 30 minutes after delivery time. That is not ezCater's fault but they were not a reliability Rockstar for me.
I did contact Customer Support and they did help me as best as they could, so that was nice.

Tasty food great ezCater service
The food from Una Mas has always been delicious and it has always been delivered on time. As well as the Party Bundle from Pacific Catch is also great and tastes delicious.

Didn't understand the problem.
I originally placed this order as pick up, but then I realized I ordered from the wrong location, and I wasn't going to be able to pick it up. I called the help line asking if there some a delivery person who could pick this order up and deliver it. I guess the person I was speaking to called Panera?? Something about they couldn't make any changes to the order. I had a horrible time understanding everything she was saying. I said I just needed someone to go pick up my order and bring it to my work location. No changes to the order were needed. She kept saying they couldn't change the order. It sounded like Panera was saying that. I told her Panera didn't need to be involved b/c someone could just go in and pick it up and I could call Panera letting them know who would be there. Now the order won't be picked up and I'm out that money. Very frustrating, especially after ALL the money we have spent using ezCater over these last few month.

EzCater...definitely the way to go for catering orders!
The delivery was on-time and I was kept up to date from the minute it left the restaurant to the delivery. I have ALWAYS had a good experience using ez cater versus going to the restaurant itself. Made that mistake with Chipotle, they canceled my order for 20 people 1 hour before scheduled delivery. I trust my order with ezCater will arrive on time as scheduled!

Inconsistent performance
When they do what they say they're going to do, things go very well. Orders show up individually bagged/boxed by person, clearly labeled and on time or even sometimes early.
When things go badly, they go very badly. No accountability on the part of ezCater. They blame the restaurant. They blame the driver. Never a word about what ezCater is willing to do to try to make things right. When an order is late, it's not by a few minutes. We've had orders show up over an hour late. Not easy to explain to employees...

5 Stars for Golden Sun, Boulder
Golden Sun in Boulder delivered our order hot and five minutes early, exactly to the correct location and with all delivery instructions followed. Everything was accurate, and the portion sizes were generous. A great experience—we’ll definitely order again.

EzCater makes it very simple to find and order food for my office. I have a lot of pecis dietary requirements, and the platform makes it easy to find companies that can accommodate those. Also, when something does go wrong, the team at EzCater is great at getting it corrected.

On time drlivery!
Service was on time and food was plenteous. I would suggest adding wire chafers/chafing fuel to keep food warm while also making a nicer presentation for groups.
