I booked Sapphire parking through this comparison site. It was just the most harrowing experience. The comparison company isn't liable for Sapphire's breach of contract and terrible code of ethics, but there have been so many bad reviews of Sapphire and flyparkcompare must be aware and should not include them on their site as they are a knowing party to fraud. Will make sure I spread the word and also will take action.

Book for a pick up at Stansted Airport. The provided did not turn up to collect the car. We had to book another parking spot otherwise we would have missed our flight. They did call us ask where our car was as we were boarding our flight. 90 minutes late! I have no way to claim a refund.

It was a BAD experience from the off set. I tried to call mobile no given as indicated before arrival NO response.
Once arrived at the parking lot and not sure where to park? I saw a staff member totally ignoring me. I tried to confirm if this was the correct place and where to park, to which the reply was very rudely, yeah this the right place go sit in your car?? I waited in my car about 10 min and had to then ask when will we be taken to the airport, answer just wait we are coming.. any away after a further 15 min we were taken to be eventually dropped off.

On return, I called as instructed .. answer was 15 min OK at 20 min later called again again 15 min. after 40 min or so the driver arrived.
Took us to the parking place. Handed me my keys from a shed and said you can go?
I located my car, I noticed my bonnet was open and it was parked tightly between 2 cars and anther car on the side. I tried to maneuver and failed as there were other cars. I saw a man in the hut and tried to explain, the answer was very rudely and loudly wait in your car some one will come!!, I asked how long? again loudly ' I am not sure!'
I had to wait by the entrance by our luggage as the area was very muddy to roll to the car and my wife stood by the car.
I called the guy who dropped us off to help us as we had a long journey and just wanted to get home. Eventually after 20 min came, him and the other staff member got the car out after several attempts guiding each other and commenting to my wife (a driver of 29 years) she cant drive.
The web site looks professional, hoverer the staff are not. Very rude, lack people skill and intimidating. It costs nothing to be polit as we are paying the customers.
We will NOT be using this company again ever!! Also have put our feelings on this platform where they already have a rating of 1.4 although they may not even care judging from the other comments left.
I now wished I used Trust pilot before making my decision.

The call handlers were rude and unprofessional. Sounds like they are running some form of scam.

Would have put zero stars if I could. Absolutely the worst place ever. No room to park, resembled a neglected scrap yard. 2 workers who didn't have a clue and extremely rude. Loads of people waiting for a undersized minibus which seemed to be doing relays. People would miss their flights. Would not leave my rubbish here let alone my car. Left and went elsewhere. Avoid avoid avoid. Needs closing.

They abandoned my car, failed to meet me in person, left the key by the tire, dirtied and scratched the vehicle, and broke their promises; above all, I am furious at their highly disrespectful attitude, which included racism and mockery.
It was a situation where my car could easily have been stolen.
I intend to pursue every possible avenue to obtain compensation.

​Headline: Hidden fees and unfair £20 cancellation charge within 24 hours
​I booked airport parking 20 days in advance, only to discover afterward that I would have to pay an extra taxi fare just to get from the lot to the airport terminal. When I emailed to cancel the booking less than 24 hours after making it, they still insisted on charging a £20 deduction fee.
​Charging a heavy penalty for a prompt cancellation on a booking made weeks in advance—especially after failing to make additional transfer costs clear upfront—is completely unfair customer service. I would recommend booking elsewhere with a company that offers transparent pricing and a reasonable cancellation policy.

DO NOT US THIS COMPANY, or any of the "service providers" they endorse on their website. We were 45 mins late for our check in at drop off. Collection upon return from our trip took 1 and a half hours. They started blocking my calls. This is not a service you want to go anywhere near. Never again. All in all, very stressful. I wish I'd had the thought to check Trustpilot before I made the booking. The complaints procedure at the end is useless. no one would take any responsibility for such inadequacies.

Absolutely TERRIBLE! Avoid this company. Had to wait 1 hour dropping car off (nearly missing my flight) and then 3.5hrs on return. They then blocked my number so I couldn’t get through to find an update of when car would arrive. Please please don’t use this company - pay £10/£20 more for a decent service.

They use misleading and unprofessional providers which make you wait for hours. Do not use them: booking is easy but the experience is awful.

Shockingly awful service, did not pick up the phone. Had to try 95 times on way out and 180 times on the return journey with two young children. This is not the service advertised. Avoid avoid avoid

DO NOT USE QUALITY PARKING GATWICK / SAPPHIRE PARKING. I cannot warn people strongly enough

I booked Premium Parking at Manchester Airport through Fly Park Compare. The service itself was much slower than I expected, with a considerable wait both when dropping off and when returning to collect the car.
I was also unhappy about an additional £13 charge. In my experience, this was not made clear at the point where the initial price was shown. I had already gone through the first stage of the booking and paid around £45 before becoming aware of the extra charge. A compulsory additional fee should be made much clearer before someone commits to the booking.

What concerned me most happened when I collected my car. A member of staff asked for my phone. I did not initially understand what he wanted it for, and he then began going through the process of leaving a review. I said I would do it later, but he repeatedly told me I would forget and started suggesting what should be written, including that he had been “helpful and friendly”.

By that point he already had my phone in his hands and I felt uncomfortable and pressured. I then realised he appeared to have done something similar with the customer before me.

Staff were friendly enough in person, but that does not make it appropriate for a member of staff to take a customer’s phone and effectively guide or enter their own positive review. Customers should be able to leave an independent review, privately and without any pressure.

The delays, unclear extra charge and particularly the way the review was handled mean I would not use this service again.

One of the worst airport parking services I have ever used. Calling this “Meet & Greet” is frankly misleading. Avoid.

This is not a proper Meet & Greet service.

The drop-off was awkward and disorganised, the staff were unprofessional, and I was charged an extra £8 on arrival and another £8 on collection.

On return, I called from baggage collection exactly as instructed and then waited around an hour in the car park for my vehicle to appear.

For a supposedly premium airport parking service, this was a complete failure: overpriced, badly organised and nowhere near the standard advertised.

I have used Gatwick parking many times and this was easily the worst experience I have had.

Do yourself a favour and book with someone else.

I would give them a zero if I could. They claim that they are just a third party booking agency but they clearly don’t vet the services they have listed. I chose STN park and ride from their official website.

On drop off: they laughed and hung up on my wife when she called asking where they were 30 minutes after arriving at where they said to go
On arrival: they make you walk half a mile down the road presumably so they can avoid the lift fee for their shuttle bus… EVEN THOUGH THEY CHARGE THE CLIENT UPFRONT FOR THIS FEE
They were late on arrival and became very aggressive and unprofessional when i asked where they were after they were MIA for half an hour.
When I got to my car the driver seat was completely reclined, their was a lucazade bottle in the cup holder, and a lighter as if someone was just hanging out in my car. it had a scratch on the side mirror and SOMEHOW they tore two seams on my vinyl seats. I recommend you pay the extra 20 pounds on a more reputable booking agency and avoid fly park compare.

Utterly shambolic, Zero stars

You call the phone number en route as requested, no one answers, finally get an answer on the fifth try, man on the other end can barely speak English.

Arrive at car park, Wait around, 30 minutes later someone arrives and asks me to bank transfer an additional £8 to actually pay for the car park. I refuse and instead paid for the parking myself and brought the ticket back. Total of 1 hour just to drop the car off.

Landed at the pre-agreed time, called to make sure car was ready to collect, again, finally got through to someone who can barely speak English, they then bring the car back an hour and ten minutes later. When I protested I was told to “f - off” by the guy on the phone.

It is genuinely quicker to park in long-stay and walk to your car. I don’t know whether this is actually a scam or if the idiots running it are so stupid incompetent that it feels like a scam.

I’d suggest the guy running this shambles quits and does something else but he’d probably be shit at his new job as well.

I am making a formal complaint about the unacceptable service provided by Sapphire Parking via Flypark compare from the moment we arrived at Gatwick Airport.

Our family was confused about how the collection system was supposed to work. There was no clear information explaining that we had to successfully speak to someone by telephone before our car could be collected. How can a business operate a service in this way when customers cannot get through because the phone line is busy or the voicemail is full?

We arrived at 10:50 pm and the intended arrival time was 11pm. so we were on time. And I did not receive our car until 12:20 am, a delay of 1 hour and 25 minutes. I repeatedly called and left two voicemail messages. After around 30 minutes, I finally got through and was told to wait another 40 minutes before the call was abruptly ended.

The staff member who eventually met us was also rude and shouted, “You must have had a bad holiday.”

This service was confusing, poorly managed, and completely unacceptable. I expect this matter to be investigated and appropriate compensation considered for the significant delay, inconvenience, and unprofessional treatment my family experienced.

I wish I saw the reviews before using this firm. Atrocious customer service and appalling ability to manage the issues that are being caused by their incompetence. They are a sham of an organisation. Steer very clear. Their chosen service provider did not answer the phone after calling 28 times. I was disingenuously given a false name from the person representing Fly Compare Parking as ‘James’. Currently, applying through small claims court for incurred costs and reporting to London Gatwick Airport Complaints Procedure.

Very Poor Experience

I would not recommend Flypark Compare based on my experience.

They appear to act as a middleman and pass the booking to a third-party parking company, and the service we received was extremely disappointing.

We were charged £20 for entry/exit at Stansted, yet we were dropped off outside the hotel in an area where there was no parking charge.

More concerning, our car appeared to be used to transport other customers to and from the parking area. I was not expecting my vehicle to be used in this way.

Communication was also very poor. They were slow to answer calls/messages, and the waiting time to be collected was around 30–45 minutes.

For the amount charged, I expected a professional, reliable parking service—not long waits, unexpected additional charges and my vehicle apparently being used to transport other passengers.

Customers should be clearly told who will actually be looking after their vehicle, exactly what additional charges apply, and whether their car may be driven for purposes other than parking it.

I would not use this service again. They don't worth even a star.

DO NOT USE. If i could give zero stars i would. Drop off location info wrong - spent 30’mins locating correct area. Very hard to understand the person when you phone. Have to pay additional £8 for the car collector to leave car park. On return it took over 2 hours from notifying them of our return to car being delivered to us. Numerous phone calls to them - constantly told it was 2 mins away. When car finally arrived driver told us he was only told 10 mins prior. Total sham of a company.
