I contacted the Taunton office for conveyancing on a shared ownership property and I cannot recommend Foot Anstey enough. Dionne and her legal assistant Gemma were always there to answer calls and I was never made to feel like there was such thing as a stupid question. Being a first time buyer can feel like a minefield, but they really did make the process as easy as possible. I also had a couple of tight deadlines due to myself going away on holiday and they came through every time.

Foot Anstey completed conveyancing for a property being sold through probate. They provided clear and concise instructions throughout the process that was made slightly more complicated because one trustee lived abroad. This was simplified with the use of paper based and electronic signatures and achieved within a relatively short period of thime.

We had a mixed experience with Foot Anstey (Taunton) during our conveyancing process. The team was professional and demonstrated a thorough approach, which gave us confidence that the legal work itself was being handled carefully.

However, the overall process was delayed, largely due to fragmented communication, with frequent back-and-forth and a lack of clear, consistent updates, which added to the delays and made the experience more daunting for us, first-time buyers, than it needed to be.

While we appreciated their professionalism and attention to detail, improvements in communication, coordination and efficiency would greatly enhance the client experience.

We were lucky enough to have Claire and Eleanor as our representatives at Foot Anstey for our house move. They always responded promptly and professionally, and importantly got the job done for us. They were always happy to answer our questions, no matter how complex or simple. They provided a great service and we'd certainly recommend them.

Overall a very professional service delivered by Claire and Eleanor in my property sale and purchase. But the whole process took far too long, largely because my purchaser's solicitor was being pedantic to the point of ridiculous. I did feel I had to chase quite a bit, I would have expected a bit more proactiveness from their side.

But they got the job done in the end and that's the main thing.
