Should be an option to give zero or minus stars! Ordered two begonia hanging baskets through Ideal World. Came in an absolutely appalling condition - most of the stems had snapped off and the soil was absolutely bone dry. TV presentation was extremely misleading, both on the quality they stated and the dire quality that was actually received. The packing was extremely shoddy, shoved in a cardboard box with no padding and the box had clearly been mishandled from dispatch. There was a massive hole in the side of the box and the plants inside were upside down. I've emailed Ideal World but having read these reviews, I'm not holding out for any sort of response! Don't buy plants from Ideal World and Garden Bargains. I'll stick to my trusted QVC, never had any issues with their plants. Buying cheap is never good!

Ordered some begonia and petunia plants through Ideal World, both arrived today 16th July 2021, petunias had all been nipped out and nearly half of them were all slimy at the bottom oh and one missing. The begonias were totally flat in the boxes and a lot of growing tips snapped of and 3 plant missing.

Garden Bargain are an absolute waste of space is it any wonder they've changed the name to You Garden!

Placed a large order which didn't arrive so I phoned them. Really hard to get a reply but finally got through to be told the plants were being sent out that week. Over a week later & no plants. Sent 3 emails & they didn't reply to any of them. Phoned again & cancelled order. They finally refunded me less the postage! More emails ...no replies. Never going to use them again.

Very disappointed with original goods and replacement goods... packages arrived with plants out of container and plants not replaced fully.

Dead plants arrived, one pack was just a soggy mush, leaves had all come off and just rotting, never seen anything like it. Emailed them twice but no response.
Due to ill health I have had several orders this year, nearly everyone has had a problem, for instance only 4 out of 6 tomato plants were alive when delivered.
Simply awful quality and the fact they can’t even respond to my emails is disgusting.

Received 3 poor quality Cannas plants,same poor quality supplied by sister company Yougarden.Nothing like the Cannas promoted on Ideal world,very misleading.

I ordered some Oleanders via Ideal World that failed. I couldn't get them replaced last year and so tried again, under the Lifetime Guarantee, and was told product no longer available but I could order something else paying any top up fee and £6.99 postage. I ordered a very expensive plant and it was agreed I owed £11.99. The company took £36.98 and I have been chasing the refund since 14 May 2021 without any success at all although the company has agreed they owe me this. I am now completing a claim form from my credit card company. I have telephoned and sent endless emails to get to this stage. Appalling customer service. In fact, no customer service.

This company sell products through idea world tv and the presenters bang on about customer service and lifetime guarantee in my experience they are dreadful got absolutely no where with them I have purchased multiple items from them but no more

Notified Garden Bargains that 2 out of 5 pack of bare root roses had failed to grow. Completely dead. Despite acknowledging my original complaint, no one has bother to respond further to me. Complaint dated 27/5/2021. Terrible company to deal with

Products, rubbish plants arrive with no leaves just stalks, don't even grow on, used twice, never again, been keen gardener for many years, worse plants ever bought.

I ordered zonal geraniums ,pelargoniums realy ,well the sorry looking half dead rubbish i received shocked me no more orders to garden bargains ,oh ! I have been gardening 40 years .

I ordered 24 petunias from them and only 9 were still living. Also i ordered 18 mixed colour begonias but they were all apricot shades. Customer services were rubbish. No help what so ever. Insisted that i send photos for proof and i explained that i had no equipment to enable me to do so. No way will i order from them again

I ordered 50 allium bulbs at least a third were rotten received another 50 same as the first pack 18were rotten when planted only 4out of the whole lot have produced a flower absolute rubbish will not recommend this company to anyone

Bought a pair of Magnolia Bare Root trees from Garden Bargains through Ideal World. I sent IW an email 10 days ago complaining about these diabolical specimens that I received from them. They looked dead on arrival and don't look any better now. I must have sent about half a dozen emails requesting a full refund but all I get is Fob Off emails back from them. I am at my Wits End with their customer care department in India, so much so that I will close my account with IW and buy nothing else from this company again. What a Shambles they are, steer clear.

Very disappointed .looks as though box has been thrown around ,most were out of the tray.Very poor quality.

I’m giving 4 star as I’ve never had an bad plants from them nor has my neighbour we have have mostly positive things to say although the delivery can sometimes be awful ! I think garden bargains would be a much better company if they changed the delivery service they use! I have had to wait 3 weeks for compost and last time only a week once I had it within 3 days. The compost is the best I’ve used which is why I do like to buy from here. Please garden bargains sort your delivery service out and the reviews will be much better !
Maybe sort the customer service bit out as-well so customers know when they are likely to get their order As often the tracking is useless.

4 items ordered, only ONE came of a good enough quality, customer services told me how to plant them, only been doing it for 40 years, and an other item only half came, told me I used wrong code, I didn’t use any code, had to threaten with CC company reclaim to sort. DO NOT use this company, part of Ideal world, very very poor

Not as described bamboo plants. Unhealthy bamboo plants. Unhealthy customer service experience. Avoid !!

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Placed order 29th March 2021. Half my ordered arrived middle of April, apparently Yodel lost the rest of my order. We are now in the second week in June and apparently my order has been dispatched yesterday when I called today, this is the 4th time I have been told the order was dispatched yesterday, so don't hold must hope for the plants arriving.

The 1 star is there for decorative purposes, what a dreadful company, took over a month for the beautiful petunias, begonias they advertised, what turned up, was a dried-up brown rooted plugs, wrapped in plastic, their customer service is terrible, will never use again, what a waste of money, yes buy local!
