They take 3 lots of £1.
Today I go on my bank 2 days after purchase and they have taken £25 from my bank account
Can’t get hold of them
Doubt my boxes will even come

Complete scam- they rope you into a subscription for month on end and customer service is useless. I tried messaging, emailing and using the live chat function but each time I would not be connected to an agent.

Ich bekomme einfach kein brauchbares Rücksendeetikett um die Ware zurückzuschicken. Keine Paketannahmestelle oder Postfiliale nimmt es an.

Obwohl mir der Kundendienst von Glossybox ein Etikett geschickt hat welches ich verwenden soll. Unbrauchbar

Trotz Kündigung läuft mein flexibles Abo eine Box weiter. Mit der Aussage:
„Deine wirksame Kündigung haben wir erhalten. Da du dein flexibles Abonnement nach dem 12.11.2024 abgeschlossen hast, erhältst du automatisch zwei GLOSSYBOXen.“
Weil ich das Abo später abgeschlossen habe und es danach gleich gekündigt habe läuft es einen Monat weiter. Man kann nur bis zum 10.des Monats kündigen. Nicht zu empfehlen. Bei der Mystery Box ist ein Artikel ausgelaufen und die ganzen Produkte sind verschmiert.

Impossible to cancel subscription...AVOID AVOID AVOID, I wished to cancel my subscription as I was sick of getting the same products. I have lost count of the amount of travel shampoos, conditioner, dry shampoo, horrible body lotions and multiple blushers that I have been sent.

My subscription was for 12 months and ends at the end of November 2024. I emailed on the 1st of November to cancel as the website advises you can cancel before the 14th of the month. I checked my bank and the first payment came out on the 30th Nov 2023 so was within the timescale.

An agent advised that they could give me a month for free which I wasn't interested in or go ahead and cancel. I replied today to say yes, please cancel to then get a response from a different agent 'Stephen' who someone else has left a negative review on Trust Pilot about to say that as I was on a 12 month fixed plan I had to pay until 01/10/2025. Are you actually joking!!! My auto re-new for my plan is switched off but noticed that my December amount is still due to come out. How the hell are they allowed to do this if my auto re-new is switched off.

Absolutely disgusting service which I've told them. Why do customers have to jump through hoops when they want to cancel a subscription.

I have sent them a screen shot that my auto re- new is switched off, if they try and take any more money I will report them for theft to my bank and initiate a charge back, refuse delivery and report them to Action Fraud and Which. I also have screen shots of my bank account and when my subscription first came out so will be challenging them if they refuse to cancel my subscription.

AVOID - REPETITIVE PRODUCTS AND AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

Quick update for those who cant cancel...I forgot to update sorry...so after the above I contacted my bank and explained the circumstance via web chat, (Halifax) who immediately blocked the payment for 13 months. When Glossy Box told me I still had to pay I told them my bank had blocked the payment and they cancelled my subscription straightaway..DONT BE BULLIED!!!

I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding your company’s blatant breach of GDPR regulations. Despite my repeated requests to have my phone number removed from your records, I continue to receive unwanted text messages from you. I have opted out multiple times over the past few years, yet my personal data remains unlawfully retained and used.

Your company’s only method of contact requires me to share even more personal information, which is highly inappropriate given that you have already failed to respect my data privacy rights. This situation is not only frustrating but also completely unlawful.

If my phone number is not permanently removed from your records within the next 3 days, I will have no choice but to escalate this issue to the relevant authorities, including the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). Your continuous disregard for GDPR compliance is unacceptable, and I expect immediate action to rectify this matter.

I look forward to your prompt response confirming that my data has been permanently removed and that no further communication will be made.

My entire order was cancelled because every single item was out of stock. Not sure why it showed as available on the website. Unfortunate, because these were all supposed to be holiday gifts for friends.

When I was looking for the boxes that I wanted to shop for everything I clucked on was either out of stock or it wouldn't blow and it basically only showed one selection. I could do so, that was frustrating.

Ich bin langjähriger Kunde und von meiner letzten Erfahrung mit dem kundenservice absolut schockiert. Ich habe den Adventskalender 2024 bestellt, dieser kam komplett ramponiert bei mir, Ecken eingeknickt, teilweise bis zu den innenboxen, Versandkarton war ohne Dellen, daher muss man davon ausgehen, dass er schon mit Sturmschaden versendet wurde. Soweit so gut- kann passieren - wie man dann aber mit der Beschwerde umgeht, ist der absolute Witz. Mit wurden 7,90€ Rabatt angeboten, damit war ich allerdings nicht einverstanden, da ich nicht weiß, ob die Artikel den vermeintlichen Sturz unbeschadet überstanden haben und habe um eine Retoure und Ersatzlieferung gebeten. Dies wäre nicht möglich zu machen, daraufhin habe ich um einen Rücksendeschein gebeten, da ich den Artikel so mit Sicherheit nicht behalte. Daraufhin wurde mir ein Formular per Email gesendet (dort gab es wohl die Notiz „Ersatz“ so lügt man Kunden also an) in dem vermerkt wurde, dass der defekte Adventskalender aufgrund von „unerwünscht“ zurück gehen soll und ich die Rücksendekosten nach Polen doch selber tragen soll. Obwohl der Artikel nicht einwandfrei bei mir ankam! Absolute Frechheit! Ich habe keine Worte mehr für so einen Service und Verhalten. Ich bin langjährige Kundin und habe mein Abo nun gekündigt, so ein Unternehmen möchte ich nicht unterstützen. Das Verhalten wurde bereits der Verbraucherzentrale gemeldet. Ich kann nur jedem empfehlen dort NICHT zu bestellen!!

I was excited about taking advantage of a promotion and there was no opportunity to use the coupon during checkout.

Coupon offer of buy 5 boxes for the price of4 was deceiving since the deal did not appear until I put 7 boxes in the cart so I had to buy 7 boxes for the offer. Even though the prices were great, it was still deceitful.

Said I was refunded for an order that couldn't be fulfilled but there is no record of a refund of that $100.
Other than that, I've found the site to be a great source of gifts for friends and colleagues at prices that don't break the bank.

So far so good I haven’t recirved my box yet but everything seems ligit

I was sent two of the wrong boxes. And the boxes they sent instead were both the exact same so I got two of the same box that I didn’t order.

I ordered 10 boxes of the glossy $5 boxes and I got them all the same. If you do not have them refund and return. I did not want 10 of the same boxes. I also don't like those boxes. I do not think I will order from this company again.

defektes Produkt bekommen, mich an Kundenservice gewandt, man wolle mir 4 € ersetzen. Da ich aber die Glossybox schon abbestellt hatte nützt das ja nix, wollte einfach Ersatz haben. Auf die zweite Mail einfach keine Antwort mehr bekommen. So kann mans auch machen! Kundenservice = 0
