Good Experience from Good Motors👍🏻
Bought a Toyota Aygo from good motors . The all round service was excellent. Terry explained everything over the phone, sent a video of the car describing as he video. Very pleased with purchase when delivered by Rob , who also was very helpful also, calling us with update on how soon he would be with us . Also explained everything I needed to know when he dropped car off . I was sceptical about buying a car online I hadn’t seen in person, I must admit . All good and an all round good service from Good motors , Thank you Deirdre & Gary Merry .

Avoid good motors wellington road bury 100% scammers
Aviod scammers a few weeks ago I ordered a model 3 Tesla at a 500 pound deposit. At no time was I advised this was non refundable as it was a hp purchase. The screen was showing dc charging not available I was told this cause I don’t have a charging account yet. When I do it will reset. From my research after ordering I discovered that this was a well known fault with the dc cable housing and cable needs replacing.
I did a hpi check and discovered that I would be the 6th owner in 4 years another red flag I wasn’t made aware of. Even more concerning the car had an active hpi marker for outstanding finance. I called the finance provider on the car and they confirmed that the finance was still active and told me not to purchase the car.
I called good motors and they tried to claim it was stock loan. I said ok if it’s a stock loan why was it taken out in 2023 and why was it to a public car finance company not trade. I forwarded this to the dealer and advised I won’t be paying the balance or collecting until the fault is repaired. Again thy tried to tell me it was a computer glitch and resetting the screen would fix it. I checked with Tesla and they said resetting it would be a temporary fix the warning would return. Probably once the 30 day Warrenty expired.
The garage had the cheek to call me and ask for an extra 1000 deposit to keep the car off sale. I replied I will only be collecting the car once fault has been repaired or they discount the car to reflect the cost of the repair and the finance was settled. I was advised that if I didn’t collect within 2 days they will but the car on resale
They did this and refused to give me the deposit back. Even though legally I’m entitled to cancel the order cause of the fault the outstanding credit and the number of previous owners. None of which I was advised prior to order
As a final insult they said I could have store credit for 500 againist a future purchase. Like I would want to do business with these cowboys again.

Thank you for your review. However, we feel it's necessary to address the many inaccuracies and omissions in your account, as they present a misleading version of events.
You viewed, inspected, and test drove the vehicle and confirmed you were satisfied with its condition. You then agreed to the purchase, including the vehicle's specification and ownership history, and placed a £500 non-refundable deposit to reserve it. This was made clear both verbally and in writing.
You informed us you had previously been the victim of fraud and requested to pay the remaining balance via BACS transfer, which we accommodated. You later stated that your friends were crowd-funding to assist with the purchase — which we were again understanding and patient about.
When it came time to collect the vehicle, you advised us of a family bereavement and requested more time, which we respected. However, following this, you began raising various concerns and requested to delay or cancel the purchase, despite having already entered into an agreement.
You also raised the issue of an HPI finance marker. We explained that this was due to a stock funding arrangement, which is standard in the motor trade, and provided clarification accordingly. This was not concealed from you, and you had the opportunity to carry out independent checks prior to placing your deposit.
Despite multiple changes to your story and refusal to proceed, we still offered store credit as a goodwill gesture, which you declined.
Throughout this process, our team acted with professionalism and patience. Unfortunately, your engagement became increasingly inconsistent, with changing explanations and demands that were not in line with the agreed terms. It is unfair to misrepresent the facts publicly in an attempt to pressure us into refunding a deposit you were clearly told was non-refundable.
We stand by our conduct, our communication, and the fairness we extended to you throughout. We now consider this matter closed.

I was a little sceptical at first as I had just left another forecourt in the area due to incorrect information (lying) being given.
I was allowed to test drive the car by myself and inspect the car without any hassle from the sales person, this was a very good experience for me as a salesperson myself have now had the car 3 months without issue.

Good Motors sold me a broken car
Good Motors sold me a GT86 with a number of issues: A/C compressor not working, Variable Valve Timinjg system not working (therefore engine power was down), and engine misfiring. None of these were disclosed to me and the price did not reflect these issues at £12500 (which was the average market rate for a GT86 of that year and mileage)
Absolutely disgraceful that they would mislead a customer like that. Wish I'd spotted these issues within the first 6 months of ownership.

For this very reason, we offer RAC extended warranty cover from 12 months up to 36 months, providing added peace of mind for our customers. With performance sports cars, it’s also important to consider that driving style can significantly affect the vehicle’s condition over time.
We take great care to ensure our vehicles are accurately represented and thoroughly checked before sale. Naturally, some mechanical issues can develop over time, and we encourage customers to report any concerns so we can assist accordingly.
