Richard made buying a car real easy let me test drive no pushy salesmen at no time was I rushed or pushed into buying the car I would recommend anyone that needs a car try these guys first you won't regret it car came fully valeted to a very high standard and even came with fuel

As an older single woman buying a car is quite daunting. But William was so helpful and informative that my purchase is proving to be highly successful. After failing the MOT all necessary works were carried out and even the missing trim was ordered and sent to me after William personally delivered my car. I cannot praise the customer service provided by this company highly enough. Highly recommended.

Such an efficient, honest and genuine service when selling my car. I can't rate the experience highly enough. Thank you Richard, you have restored my faith in car dealers and you'll be top of my list when I'm looking for a new car!

First things first, I have wanted to post this review for over 8 weeks, however I was told if I do “things wouldn’t be good for me, and I’ll slow the whole process down” on the phone therefore I have waited for the dispute to ruled in my favour.

If I could give zero stars I would.

I bought a Ford Focus 2011 plate through this dealership. When I went to view it I noticed boot was full of water (a puddle) I have owned a couple of these models before so I know it’s a common fault, but I was told it was condensation by William, and then had a phone call from Richard stating it’s because it was raining a lot. I requested this was sorted before collecting.

Prior to paying I explained fully to William at the time, I will be sending this vehicle for a full health diagnosis to a ford specialist, as I know the common faults with these models. On the add the car was described with no issues and drives perfect, however it failed every check.

1. Combustion test failed - exhaust gases are within the header bottle pointing to a head gasket failure.

2. Compression test failed - all 4 cylinders had different readings ranging from 147 - 160. Yet again points to head gasket

3. Coolant leak - when the car was delivered to me the water had been topped up past maximum, yet the level was on minimum 3 days later, which yet again points to head gasket

4. White smoke was very clear also

The dealership has obviously encountered this situation many times, as opposed to taking on board the diagnostics I was told he would not be able to comment on them and the car is fine due to it driving ok on the test drive and it has no warning lights on the dashboard. He hasn’t taken any accountability for having just sold me a faulty vehicle, when he was the one who described it as mechanically sound. He told me he has no emotional attachment and it is “just a business transaction” which is far from the claims of a “family run business”. He told me his legal team would be involved.

I then raised this with my car broker, who told me the dealer is rejecting my claims as the company (who tested the car)aren’t a real company. He demanded that an independent company come and re do the same tests, which I had to wait 3 weeks for. They also found exactly the same results, as I knew they would.

It was advertised as full service history, however only come with 6 receipts. I was told the book with stamps was in the office on viewing, however after delivery it was not there. I was told these 6 receipts would qualify as Full service history. To claim as full service history requires a record of all work and servicing carried out to the requirements of the manufacturer.

Vehicle is still on my driveway, it however is being collected buy the auction house due to dealership still rejecting. I expect this review to be deleted, as I can see others have disappeared but I will repost. This has been 3 months of pure stress.

I have been without a car for 3 months, without a way of getting to work or drive my daughter to nursery, not one person cared.

I first made contact via email through website I had a reply literally within hours on a weekend and got valuation for part exchange straight away and new car was delivered to my door 3 days later very swift and easy process from start to finish highly recommended to anyone

I dealt with Richard.

As a genuine buyer asking questions about its history then asking to view, they even had my post code, so I would have been travelling for this car - I get a very informative replying saying the car will have a fresh MOT (current until Dec24 anyway) and it can be with me and then delivered next week - however I have to part with money beforehand and they will only "prioritise" customers who part with money "as we are a small business", it was polite ended with "good luck with your search".
Even had the old I've got another buyer interested.
