Parked in Northampton Hospital Cripps recreation centre car park, as we do on many Sundays. Played Pickleball for 2 hours and paid the 60p parking charge as we were leaving. About a week later I receive a PCN demanding £80 , or £40 if paid within 14 Days. I appealed this with an excerpt from my credit card statement showing the 60p payment, uploaded to Groupnexus website. I doubt their internal appeal processors have even looked at this, before they rejected this appeal. This is now with POPLA. If it goes to a small claims court at least I will be able to counter claim expenses for my time spent looking up details to disprove their at best incompetence, at worst this should be regarded as and attempt at criminal extortion. If their bogus PCNs are sent to more vulnerable persons, who are panicked into paying, it no doubt looks good on their yearly profits.

if there was a lower star i would give that. An absolute crap and unprofessional company act like they are above others. Got a £60 fine for being 19 minutes over. I was using the Forster square complex to do the back to school shopping and i end up getting a fine. it wasn't even busy. My daughter fell ill which caused the delay and even after hearing that this the DOGS still said appeal rejected. Its just a money making scheme and no one should use this SHITHOLE of a place.

As long as companies like this are still allowed to operate free reign the world will continue to be in decline.
My 8 year old daughter had just been diagnosed with diabetes, I had to rush her to the diabetes centre one morning at Ipswich Hospital, I parked as close to the centre as I could, there is questionable signage stating it is a staff car park, unless you stop to read all the signs you wouldn't know this as it's basically one big car park the same as the public car park, bit of a trap really.
Anyway appeal was turned down and I don't have the time or patience to go through the court, which I assume they also prey on, so I'm £70 down.

I type in the correct information but the system refuses to accept it. I have evidence. unable to get help via phone line. Avoid. I will be taking them to court over this. Good luck to them. Gridserve were at fault for there faulty ev chargers

Horrendous company. Charged for going over the 3 hour free limit, but it took over 20 minutes to get out of the car park. Despite showing evidence of this, we still got charged. Why don't you just charge from the start, or make it a free car park? The retail park we were at will suffer, as people wont go there if they can't take their time to shop and/or have something to eat without worrying about time.

Took my elderly mother for some tests on her eyes at Colchester primary care centre in Essex

Was running late to get there there ( unusually) so arrived with minutes to spare for the appointment!

I genuinely didn't see any signs re parking, or payment machines on way in , or way out

The appointment lasted for almost two hours and a week later, I was notified in a letter that I'd parked for almost 2 hours without paying

I tried contacting the company, but it's obvious that they don't want to communicate, other than a letter re your " fine "

I called the care centre, and they suggested appealing it , and told me that I should say that I would willingly pay for the 2 hours

I appealed, and have now just received a rejection of appeal letter

Do they actually think I'd have rather not paid a few quid, and blatantly ignored the signs and not pay for the couple of hours and risk the £35

Yes I should have been more aware maybe, but come on ... 35 quid for using the place for my mother's treatment

Stayed at roundham services northbound on the 29/08/26 new l would be over the 2 hours tried to download the app got as far as banking details would not accept the details kept on trying the the end has to leave as we going on a cruise from southampton sent them emails saying we would be away and how the app was not working took no notice as people our saying the phone is automated cannot speak to anyone in my opinion they just want to fine you it is better to get 60 pounds than 15 pounds

No spaces at Russels hall hospitaL at all 25 to 30 cars going round and round,
had to drop and leave my partner who was delirious at main door many thks to the volunteers they looked after him while i tried to park,TO BE FAIR I WAS NOT IN A BOX on the end of a row ,and there was a car behind me doing the same ,we did not reduce traffic
movement or obstruct any one.i had a ticket they did not and i forgot to take photo.
would it not be better to for this sad person to help park cars and help in some way and when busy be a little lenient and let people park in some of the open spaces when really busy.

GroupNexus should be ashamed of themselves.

I was given a parking penalty for stopping between around 2:00 and 4:00 a.m. at a completely EMPTY BP petrol station next to the motorway. Why did I stop? Because after approximately 20 HOURS OF DRIVING, I was exhausted and needed to stop immediately and sleep before I put my own life — and the lives of other road users — at risk.

I appealed the penalty and explained the situation clearly. I wasn't trying to avoid paying for parking or take advantage of anyone. I was simply too tired to safely continue driving.

And what did GroupNexus do? They rejected the appeal.

Apparently, according to GroupNexus, enforcing a parking restriction and collecting a penalty is more important than a driver stopping because they are dangerously fatigued after 20 hours behind the wheel.

This is beyond unreasonable. It is completely disproportionate, heartless and, in my opinion, nothing more than a money-making exercise disguised as parking enforcement.

The petrol station was practically empty. I caused no obstruction. I stopped for a couple of hours in the middle of the night because I desperately needed rest. Yet instead of showing even the slightest bit of common sense or consideration for road safety, Groupnexus

I think this company is dodgy.
I’ve just had a letter through saying that I over stayed in a car park.
I was away that day in a completely different city.
I’ve only ever been to that retail park on one occasion, which was a few weeks before hand to go get dog food from pets at homes. I was in out with in 10 mins.
I have proof, won’t be getting any money from me.

These people couldn’t organise a piss up in a brewery. I am registered with my local hospital, which I visit regularly. However on 2 occasions I have received a fine. There have been many times that I haven’t. The recent one I appealed sent a copy of my badge, they messaged me asking for a copy of my badge. So I sent yet another copy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 there are millions of people unemployed, yet you have muppets with jobs 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

If I could give zero stars I would, today I received a penalty charge from over a month ago. Allegedly they sent me 'previous' reminders but I can guarantee if they had I would have paid it immediately. This has to be a scam that they pull to get more money out of the parking charge from the location.

I have ‘never’ had such a horrific experience as I have with this company. I got to the point where my mental health was severely at risk. I appealed a fine, lost, more than happy to pay, the online platform was useless, customer help non existent, I have no way of knowing how much to pay (cheque note my only option), as the information they provide is not up to date, vague, inconclusive. Of it wasn’t for my friends I ‘would’ be in hospital. They need to be shut down asap.

I visited MOTO Services on the M4 (chieveley services).
I am a disabled driver with a blue badge, and a disabled registered vehicle, the services do not have a 7m parking bay for my vehicle only the lorry park,80 to 250mtrs from the main building , I received a parking ticket because I had to use the Coaches parking area for ten minutes, Groupnexus is the car park operator, they fined me, a disabled driver £60, I appealed the fine, but my appeal was refused even though I sent a PDF copy of my blue badge, and V5 proof of disabled vehicle class. Groupnexus are guilty of abusing disabled drivers, they even cropped the photo so they did not display my blue badge, my vehicle could have been parked out side Buckingham Palace there was no proof of location.

I received a parking ticket for Solihull retail park saying I had been there for 8 hours.

I appealed the decision explained how I couldn’t have been there that long and provided evidence to the contrary.

Within 24 hours somebody had replied and the charge had been cancelled.

An actual human even replied which was a bonus.

Twice now i have recieved tickets from this bunch of cowboys for central retail park Falkirk, both wrong. Have had the first cancelled with the help of park management, portocabins behind cineworld, they will give you a link for the cctv footage to prove your case. Get in quick as its destroyed after 28 day, whole you are there ask to file a complaint with the management. It is impossible to get through to these scammers on the phone all you get is an automated system and cant find out where to make a complaint. The one director is resident in the UAE so camt be tracked down. Do not give them a penny and take legal advice.

Visited Shrewsbury Hospital to see a consultant. Paid for parking on exit using the correct numberplate even though the machine had recognised an S as a Z! Received a penalty notice 2 weeks later with the correct registration plate. So far the number plate recognition system at Shrewsbury Hospital has failed to recognise the plate correctly 3 times even though it is clear in the photos.

This company are doctoring evidance.
They have me parking for 9hrs in a location i visited twice in one day, so the pictures used are of me parking in the morning and leaving in the evening.
If they had checked the footage they would see me leaving in the morning around 1hr later and arriving in the evening and leaving around 20mins later.

I have hastings you drive it tracks my drive and records it.
It shows me doing around 5 trips in the time i was suppose to be on the car park.

Think about it and try gather evidence before paying them.
Ring door bell footage, Local shop camera etc

Don't know how these people sleep at night. I will never visit any retail park that use this company. Everyone should stop so shops get rid of them and bankrupt the monsters. Kingsway in derby can take over an hour to exit, yet camera is top of rd of an horrendous exit, which can take 30mins to get to the top,but they will still fine you through no fault of your own. Previous company a manager said if you provided proof you spent money in their shops as they don't want to loose customers for fear of accidentally going over time limit said they did , but these money grabbing cretins wont. My advice is, don't use ANY car park they operate at, so retailers wont use them and we can get rid of them for good. What goes around, always comes around!

My mother was rushed into hospital. I parked on the new multistorey carpark belonging to the hospital. On my exit I paid and the barrier lifted as I drove through. If i didnt pay the barrier would NOT of lifted. Around a week later got a ticket to say i had not paid. I had all the proof that I had on my bank statement but then had to email and send all the details which took me time to do.

The letter has just come back from them saying everything's cancelled but no apology from them. This is one horrid company hearing so many bad things about them from so many people 😡😡😡
