Aggressive sales tactics - I was going to a funeral and was told I would loose the property unless I put a bid in at that precise moment rather than the day after the funeral.

Firstly, we're genuinely sorry that the timing of this situation coincided with such a difficult personal occasion. #
That said, we also have a responsibility to act in accordance with our seller's instructions. In this case, the seller had asked for all offers to be submitted by a specific deadline. It was therefore important that we made you aware of this, so that you had the opportunity to submit an offer if you wished. We appreciate the timing was far from ideal, but we also wouldn't have wanted you to discover the following day that the property had been sold without you having been given the chance to make an offer.
Regarding the property being marked as Sold Subject to Contract, thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will review what happened on this occasion to ensure our systems and processes are working as they should.

I've been looking at buying a house, I'd looked at a few with several different estate agents. Hannells in particular Chaddesden branch have been fantastic. The have been above and beyond better than any other estate agent I have dealt with.
