Fast, honest and good service

I have been a customer of Holocene for over 10 years now. Very friendly staff and quick and efficient service.

I have been a loyal customer at Halocene garage for eight years and wrote a positive review here some years ago. Unfortunately Halocene have completely let me down and therefore my opinion of them has turned very negative.
An electrical fault developed in my car a couple of months ago that prevented the engine from starting. I have since sent the car twice to Halocene (using roadside recovery vehicles) for the same problem and have paid Halocene just under £2,000 thus far to fix it, but the problem still persists.
When I pointed out that it still hadn't been fixed (it eventually started after many attempts), the manager shrugged me off saying there was nothing more they could do and I should take the car to an Audi garage instead (yes after I had already paid nearly £2k with no offer of compensation)!
To make matters worse, I noticed a large crack in the windscreen shortly after collecting the car on the last occasion which definitely wasn’t there beforehand (but by the time I noticed it the garage had closed so I was unable to return it that day.)
The next morning yet again the car again wouldn't start so I rang up to complain. I got a complete denial that they had anything to do with the cracked windscreen (which I have since had to replace incurring an additional £100), but the manager assured me that he would find a final solution within 48 hours to deal with the electrical fault at no additional cost to myself.
The 48 hours have now passed with no further news – it appears the manager simply wanted to tell me what he thought I wanted to hear rather than any actual desire to resolve the issue.
I will not be using this garage again.

Amazing job done on my Range! From service, cutomer updates to the results Holocene are absolutely amazing! Took my Range there after I had an accident and another garage did a really bad job. Not just did Holocene fix the job but went above and beyond with the service. I had constant updates on my car and when I picked it up it literally had that brand new showroom finish and feel. Excellent quality work for a great price! Would definitely recommend for car repairs. Thank you Holocene!

My BMW developed an electrical fault and my normal garage was closed due to COVID. On the recommendation of the AA, I contacted Holocene who took the car in immediately. The work was done efficiently (completed on time) and they are easy to deal with.
