My instructor Steve was great, knew how to handle anything, showed me the best ways to handle the class 1 and with him I managed to pass everything first time

I done my HGV C+E training with HDT in Leicester and it was the best experience I’ve ever had!. My instructor was Neil and he was absolutely amazing, he was very calm and took his time with me which calmed my nerves for both my 3a and 3b Tests!. Neil was a very good teacher and taught me the best he could which lead to me passing both my tests first try!!!. I cannot recommend HDT in Leicester enough and especially Neil!.

Thanks to HDT and especially to Nick as his guidance and patience helped me passing my driving test. Much appreciated 👍

Today I passed with Hughes Driver Training (Leeds) Class C+E.

A big thanks to Dan for the start of the week. He was An amazing instructor from the Start and learnt a lot of on road information from him, getting me the Large vehicle off-road manoeuvres test.

Another big Thanks to Paul for the final few days. I had Paul up till my Driving test. He has been greatly helpful from start to finish, giving me perfect explanation on how to do certain things to never have issues on the road and getting me to the pass today.

All the staff have been Helpful, Friendly and knowledgeable. Making sure I'm comfortable in any of the areas or wanted to go do it again if I was unsure. Best parts are that Dan and Paul did not information overload me so my mind was not fogged over with too much information. Both are prime examples of perfect instructors and both should feel pride in the value they give.

I highly recommend Hughes Driver training to anyone in the Leeds area looking to do their HGV License

I not only passed my C1 practical today at Leeds branch but i did so with 0 minors and all thamks to my instructer Lucas who was amazing and helped drill in to me all the skills and practises i needed to get me through, all the instructers were helpful and friendly couldnt recommend them highly enough, cheers lads Steven

NICK (Northampton ) This Man is a great instructor, went above and beyond training me this week. Very patient and informative. I couldn't have passed without him, I Walked in Hughes Yard Northampton with no idea how the Truck operates and zero experience but Confidently today the 8th July 2026 I walked out of that Yard as a Confident Professional Truck driver.

If you’re looking for the best instructor, Andy B is the man. In less than 5 hours, he took me from knowing nothing to passing my test today!!! This guy is incredible! If you want someone who will give it their all to help you pass... it has to be Andy B.

Eamonn made my experience very easy. Passed within the 3 days and would highly recommend him to anyone coming to do there heavy good test. All aspects of driving

Be very careful before paying this company any money. After I passed my theory, they asked me for a single date to start training (I said Jan 2nd). Instead, they booked me for a whole week without my permission. They sent a reminder exactly 7 days before the start date, and I replied instantly to tell them I couldn't do the whole week. They then claimed my reply "didn't count" as a cancellation notice, stole my money, and refused to rebook me. Unfair, misleading, and terrible customer service.
0 Star don't even deserve 1 star should be ban from amazon portal.

A good experience. The trainers were incredibly helpful. The only thing I would change is staying with the same instructor throughout the entire process, but that was out of the manager's control. But nonetheless, I got to meet everyone at Northampton. Thank you HGT and Zara, Mark, Heidi, and especially Keith and Nick.

My driving instructor made me feel comfortable from the offset, by giving the right advice, that he may have done on so many previous occasions, Keith is friendly, chatty and very knowledgeable, with his communication and instructions, Keith only raised his voice, once, as he is softly spoken, on me making the same stupid mistake, time after time,
I would highly recommend Hughes, HGV driver training, while they have such competent instructors

Just passed my Class 1 Driving Training and Test through, Hughes Driver Training. My training hours were short due to work commitments, but I was very lucky to do my training with, Eamonn. He was a fantastic teacher! Very good at keeping things calm and straightforward. Nothing was over complicated. Thanks to him I was able to pass both my tests first time. Thanks Eamonn!
