Just passed my Class 1 Driving Training and Test through, Hughes Driver Training. My training hours were short due to work commitments, but I was very lucky to do my training with, Eamonn. He was a fantastic teacher! Very good at keeping things calm and straightforward. Nothing was over complicated. Thanks to him I was able to pass both my tests first time. Thanks Eamonn!

I had a great experience learning to drive trucks with Neil Ball from Hughes driver training Leicester. He is an excellent instructor and teacher who made every lesson enjoyable and easy to understand. Neil was always patient, professional, and supportive, which helped build my confidence behind the wheel.
What I appreciated most was how he made the lessons fun while still ensuring I learned everything I needed to know. His clear explanations and positive attitude made a big difference, and I always looked forward to my driving lessons.

And I PASSED WITH ZERO FAULTS

I did all of my C+E Training at the Northampton branch including my CPC Mod 4 and it was a great experience from top to bottom. I had most of my training with Kieth but I also had one day with Nick before my test and for my CPC Mod 4 and one day with Mark too for my reversing test, all absolutely top blokes. Full of experience to pass on and some great chat to be had at the same time whilst making the learning simple to follow and process. If you apply yourself and put 100% into what they are teaching you and also learning from the feedback they give, then you’ll have no worries at all.

I passed first time on my practical test and my CPC Mod 4 and I couldn’t have had better instructors to help me in doing that. All of the instructors at Northampton are a credit to the company and if you’re thinking about going ahead in gaining your HGV licence then I couldn’t recommend anyone more than Hughes Driver Training in Northampton.

Big thanks to Hughes Driver training Leeds helping me pass my Class 1 had the best instructor and passed first time. Instructor was spot on with everything made it very clear of what’s expected and how to achieve it. Would most definitely recommend to anyone who wants to do their Class 1 or Class 2.

The course I completed for D1 minibus was extremely helpful and allowed me to pass. My instructor, Adrian, was knowledgeable and helpful and gave me some really helpful tips to ensure I passed my test. He was clear in his instructions and when I made a mistake, explained what I should have done to ensure I knew why. Thank you all for your help and training.

My instructor was Steve - Plymouth.
Whilst I'm a confident car driver, I was unsure how I'd feel driving a Cat 2 lorry, but my experience was really positive.

Steve was patient, relaxed and had a great teaching style that put me at ease. No question was answered as though the answer was obvious, there was no condescension and I always felt comfortable. Going into my test I had confidence I could pass it and that Steve had taught me everything I needed to know.

Based on my experience, I recommend Steve at Hughes Driver Training (Plymouth).

Can’t recommend these guys enough. I had Eamon from the Durham site train me all week and he couldn’t have made me feel more comfortable and confident with driving for my Class 1 licence. Passed the 3 tests first time with confidence, all thanks to Eamon and the team.

My instructor Richard at hughes was extremely attentive and guided me to pass my class 1 test in under 2 weeks. Another instructor Mark also helped me throughout the process. The standard of teaching is second to none.

I trained with mark and Keith for my practical training and they both were absolutely brilliant, they both trained me really well and helped when I found things difficult and helped me work my way through it and explained everything so well and I can’t thank them enough for helping me. I also trained with nick on my cpc who did such a good job in going through everything and explaining it all and helped when I was nervous about the test but I passed and again can’t thank him enough. I’d definitely recommend Hugh’s and all the trainers at Northampton they’re brilliant people!

I passed my test today. It wouldn’t have been possible without proper preparation from the trainers in Northampton. A very professional team – I highly recommend them.
