A great local company. Called in to drop my son’s PS5 off. Price quoted cheaper than I was quoted online, lovely friendly service. Issue was a damaged HDMI port they called to advise found a further issue but repair for same price. Called when ready to collect. 5 ⭐️ service

Thought I spilled too much liquid on my laptop and wanted it to be checked. Took it here, within couple days they checked it over turns out no liquid had entered or caused any damaged therefore, there I wasn’t charged. Great guys in here!

Ok, this is quite a long one because it was a drawn out process.

I left my two ps3's at this shop after being asked to send videos of the issues I have with them (1 has the YLOD, the other has a graphical issue). After I'd sent the videos I was quoted £75 for each repair which I was happy with, I was about a 45 minutes drive away from the location so it wasn't local but it wasn't too far to make the effort for, so I dropped them off about 3 weeks ago. The process was delayed as I was told they were struggling to source the parts. I picked them up on the 27th of December (two days before writing this) and on arriving home I checked them over visually properly. I've got to say, I'm very disappointed in the condition they were returned in, scuffed and marked badly, particularly on the slim grey one. They were not handed over in this condition as I'm very careful with my gaming items when moving them around or using them, I collect gaming goods and have done from a young age and even the ones I have and use are kept in pristine aesthetic condition generally.

I appreciate that the shop did try to fix these two playstations which have different issues but neither were resolved after a few weeks of having them which I understand can sometimes happen, that's not the issue, the issue is that they've been carelessly moved around for storage or when being handled, minor parts are missing or broken that are important for the unit to be in original condition. The scratches and gouges are not something I can do anything about due to the finish on the consoles and I asked the guy I spoke to initially to be careful when handling the consoles as I'm particular about keeping them as undamaged as possible.

The grey console was visually immaculate when I handed it over and the gloss black one was as clean as an aged used console can be with a gloss finish, very minor surface marks on any exposed areas (the majority of the top of the unit was covered with a decal to protect from surface scratches).

The lad I saw on my return to the store to pick up the items was great, he helped sort things when I got to the desk to pick up the two playstations I'd left and my friend had an issue with her phone that he asked one of the technicians upstairs to come down and help her with, which he did and it was appreciated, he asked me to leave a review, which I am, but it will be a truthful one about my experience as a whole.

Given that things have been returned in far worse condition than they were left in I have to highlight the fact that I wouldn't recommend leaving items in the shop for work for a period of time where the item is going to need to be stored, if the item can be fixed quickly whilst present in the store then that should be fine and I found the staff and communication to be great during the process but that can't top the fact that items were damaged in the process of trying to find a solution to the problems with the two consoles.

In conclusion, items should be cared for as if they're your own in my eyes, the grey playstation looks like it's been scraped along a rough surface which just isn't good enough. I understand that these are smaller items of lesser value to some people but that doesn't change how you should care for items that are in your care whilst you perform a service for a customer. They should be returned in the same condition they were left in which just wasn't the case here.

I contacted the store on my return home through the WhatsApp service with pictures to show the damage caused and have heard nothing since, it was the weekend, but now it's nearing the end of Monday. I will attach the photos that highlight the damage caused whilst the consoles were in the shops possession to hopefully help others avoid the same issues if they're thinking about leaving an item of importance here.

I had used the firm previously to repair my IPad. On this occasion, the IPhone had been badly damaged in an accident. Faults were diagnosed free of charge, costed and the options debated - all in a very friendly environment. I couldn’t have asked for more.

Communication wasn’t great. I dropped off my iPad on Sunday morning and was told I’d receive a call on Monday to update me on the issue. Instead, I got a call around 6pm saying it was already fixed and ready for collection. But when I messaged them on WhatsApp, they told me they were still trying to figure out the problem. The mixed messages made it frustrating and confusing to know what was actually going on with my iPad. When I went in on Tuesday morning to collect my iPad, they told me I needed a receipt—something I never received when I dropped it off, which was confusing. Thankfully, they eventually gave me my iPad anyway. When it came time to pay, it took the employee about 10–15 minutes to figure out how to process the payment. I’m not sure if it was an issue with the system or lack of experience, but it was frustrating and felt very unprofessional. But at least, my iPad was still fixed which was my main issue.
