Never again! I ordered a double bed and took time off today (Thursday) to receive the delivery. The delivery men turned up, parked outside my property for 15 mins and drove off.
I called the company and was told that they couldn’t get my item off the van as the van had been loaded incorrectly. They couldn’t deliver again until Monday.
As I had already dismantled my bed, I asked to speak to a manager. The manager said that they’d try to get a delivery tonight but would keep me updated.
It’s now 8.30 pm and I’ve not spoken to anyone / had no messages left, and their office is now closed - so I’ve no been to sleep on.
I’ve paid for goods that haven’t been received and so this, and customer service has been very poor.
I would not recommend this company. Buyer beware!

We ordered a Julian Bowen Capsule Orthopaedic Mattress for our new home. We tested the mattress two weeks later when we fully moved in and the mattress was way too soft and cheaply made. When you turn on your side, you’re literally eye level to the floor. Both my husband and I knew it wasn’t suitable. The edges of the mattress was also fraying and there were faint stains as well. We wrote to our rep who sold us the mattress to ask for an exchange simply for the back pain. I didn’t even mention the fraying. They refused. They said the most they can do is for us is to order a new one from them and they would take their other mattress back. We were outside their 14 day return policy. I contacted them 18 days later. 14 days is a literal joke when most mattress and bed companies let you test for 60 or more days. We should have known better than to naively order anything from this greedy company. We thought they were reputable but obviously they just have a nice website but absolutely no common sense.

We ended up ordering a mattress from another company and have slept so much better since. Wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. It was our first and last time ordering with them.

Very efficient

We recently purchased a Julian Bowen Arya Extending Dining Table.Really pleased with the design and quality of this product, however there were some minor marks on the top.

Called them and emailed their support desk to try to resolve this and they have been fantastic and very quick to sort this, arranging new replacement parts.

Excellent customer service. Chloe was extremely efficient and resolved my issue very promptly and without fuss.

I needed help on parts for my Chrome Bed, it had been dismantled, and the nuts and bolts had disappeared.
I spoke to the wonderful Chloe who by using emails helped me find the parts I needed.
Within 24 hours the parts were posted to me. Fabulous customer service.

Bought a 3 doors wardrobe product from this company. This was the poorest product we ever purchased. Poorly build with very poor materials. The pictures looks good, the price was premium compare to well known brand. Some of the parts were damaged and the supplier blamed me for using power tool which I never did. Poor customer experience and very poor product.

We bought a deluxe semi orthopaedic double mattress in 2023 from Julian Bowen. The spring was poking through the mattress in less than 2 years!! I requested JB to replace the mattress but they refused, stating that it is outside the product warranty period. This is really unacceptable given we thought JB is a reputable company that sells high quality product - we were proven to be wrong

I purchased a Capsule 3000 mattress, the quality and comfort is amazing, This is one of the best mattresses I have ever purchased. Would highly recommend and will definitely be purchasing more products from Julian Bowen

I purchased a Recliner from Amazon. It turned out that there were one or two minor items missing- screws and a small metal plate. I contacted Julien Bowen and the problem was dealt with immediately. I was impressed with the professionalism and attention given to the problem and received the missing items swiftly. I was very pleased with the chair which is excellent value for money.

Had a problem with a damaged foot end on a bed which I hadn't ordered directly from Julian Bowen although it was their product. Despite this Leanne M in customer service has provided exemplary service by sending a replacement which unfortunately was a slightly different colour to the original. Even this hasn't stopped her from providing top class customer service. She's now checking batch numbers in the warehouse to see if a closer colour match is possible. I'm very impressed with the lengths Julian Bowen go to to ensure a satisfied customer. Top marks!

We purchased a Julian Bowen trundle bed having previously brought two JB double beds in the past. We know the quality and durability are excellent and are sure this single trundle bed will be no different. Had a small problem with a couple of missing bolt plastic covers, got in in touch and received an instant response and notification that the parts are in the post!

I can highly recommend this company with 100% confidence!! I purchased a dining table & chairs set through Very and when I finally got someone to put it together for me a few months had gone by and unfortunately one of the legs on one of the chairs was faulty and so I contacted Very and they in turn kindly contacted Julian Bowen and Julian Bowen sent me out a replacement leg which arrived Saturday and I am absolutely over the moon to have my dining set complete! Thank you so much Julian Bowen for superb after sales service.x

Today I had to phone customer service. What a great experience this was. They were so helpful plus I felt valued. It was a really good to have a conversation with a real person in a world of AI.

Great team providing great service and so easy to deal with. I’m really happy with my Lago Sofa arrangement it looks great and fits perfectly in my space.

I purchased a nest of tables online that were very poor quality with patchy paintwork etc.
I immediately contacted the third party retailer to reject the tables. It has taken four weeks for Julian Bowen to arrange collection! Meanwhile I have an unwanted box in my hallway and no refund (luckily gone now). Will not be buying from them again.

I have to say a huge thank you for replacing a damaged table top. A nest of tables ordered through Wayfair was received with a chip and crack on a table top. Wayfair’s policy is no replacement if assembly has been started. So I went direct to Julian Bowen, the manufacturers and was willing to pay for a replacement top. After discussion with Stacey, I sent a photo of the problem, and they agreed, and sent me a replacement piece, free of charge. Their quick service was much appreciated. It is great to deal with a respectable and reliable company. I will certainly recommend Julian Bowen to my family and friends.

After a couple of stressful days worrying about parts missing when purchasing a bed from wayfair .
Instead of sending back I was given details of where the bed was made. I was told to contact by email and within 24hours they will be back in touch.
JB kept to this promise and Stacey from customer services called .e on my mobile understanding my problems and immediately rectified and sent parts out. An absolute gem to have on a customer service. Thank you Stacey and have a lovely weekend
