Food never ARRIVE DO NOT USE THEM ! THEY SCAMMERS STEAL MY MONEY !

Received wrong order. Contacted restaurant but they say it is out of their control.
No direct contact with Just Eat available.
The order was a 5 stamp order so a reduced price.
However only the price paid is refunded therefore losing the 5 stamp value.
Oddly this has happened on the last three 5 stamp orders with the same restaurant.
All other orders have been ok.
Is this a clever ploy or a very strange coincidence.

Absolutely terrible service once again from this company. My partner has received deliveries from them several times in the past and the food is usually late and either nearly cold or lukewarm every time. He has put up with it before and has just got used to having to warm up the food. This time it arrived later than usual and already cold, however he was prepared to accept it at that stage. He gave the courier both the order number and the verification code but the courier wanted to speak to me as I had placed the order. I was by now out and at an evening class so uncontactable, so the courier said he couldn't deliver and left with the food. My dumbfounded partner gave up and made toast instead, so when the doorbell went a full half an hour later he was surprised to find the courier on the doorstep trying to deliver the food, by now stone cold, soggy & inedible. The delivery was understandably refused and Just Eat has refused to give me a full refund, offering a credit to my Just Eat account of a quarter of the full cost, which is useless to us as we will never use their services again.

Thieving scum ! Once again they are taking people's money and not giving it back , when items are missing from orders , so I ordered £45 worth of items on the app , order arrived £18 worth of items missing. Contacted just eat filled everything in , then the app said they would get back to me within 7 days , so I ordered the missing items again from somewhere else which was a more expensive shop and cost me £31 just for replacing the missing items . Just eat gets back to me and says they will refund me the missing items as credit on the app , to use for another order ,I said no I want my money back in my account, according to them its policy to keep the money but give out credit to use on another order , so my opinion is that their policy constitutes theft . ! As they have taken my money for an order that was missing half the items on delivery and then basically told me I can only have the money when I make another order to use the credit ! Like hell , you take my money , do not provide the whole order then withhold my money, to only be used when I put in another order on their app ,UNACCEPTABLE! I have already raised a case with paypal , and contacted my bank to withhold payment until receive my money back for the missing items. I've also contacted the financial ombudsman, because how can a company policy , which withholds a person's money be lawful .

Once the courier had collected the order from the restaurant, the order became un-trackable online from that point until delivery, which took approx. 20 minutes, even though the distance is less than 3 miles.

On arrival, the driver was chatting away on his phone and after accepting the delivery, I noticed that the food was lukewarm. I also noticed that the food safety seal on the pizza box had been broken.

I attempted to access Just Eat's chat service and was offered a refund of approx £8 due to the food temperature to my Just Eat account. Clearly not acceptable.

I contacted the chat again and requested a full refund - I was unable to confirm where my food had been or what possibly happened to it for 20 minutes, it effectively went missing for a disproportionate amount of time, the food was lukewarm on arrival and, significantly, the food safety label being broken is a potential health/ safety risk.

I was told that no further refund would be possible, and certainly no refund to my bank account. The chat was ended abruptly twice without resolution and I have been told an unidentifiable 'team leader' may contact me within 72 hours.

Clearly, if these companies cannot offer the service they say they will, customers should be entitled to their money back!

Just Eat delivered someone else’s order to me. The driver lied and promised that the correct food would be sent, so my family waited 45 minutes hungrily—but no one came.

I provided photo evidence that I received none of my items, but customer service just closed my case and refused any refund. They have stolen my money and provided zero support. Absolutely disgraceful service. Avoid at all costs!

Missing item off my order, attempted to call the restaurant but was an answer machine, raised the issue on two occasions to just eat and quickly emailed back there apologies but still wouldn’t refund the £7.95 cost . Absolute disgusting service as I feel they did not even challenge the restaurant regarding my shortage.

After ordering food from just eat the food did not arrive for almost 2 hours after placing the order.

Just eat did nothing to help and refused to offer compensation for the ridiculous wait time

Received wrong order. Took photos of what we received including receipt that wasn't mine and sent to just eat. They refused to give any refund!!!! Kids went hungry as what we received didn't like. So angry!

I don’t know why I give them another chance after already knowing they’re diabolical. Ordered for kids yesterday and it was taking up to an hour so I try to cancel it and suddenly and magically they have a “driver” selected so too late to cancel. They finally hand it over and the driver has many stops on top of this.. he arrives and parks down the road and has a casual stroll to mine with my already over an hour late food.. no urgency. Needless to say it was all cold and when I raised it with JustEat they can’t refund “on this occasion”. Absolute BS

My food didnt turn up for 2 hours, it was ice cold. And i was left to rush out and find alternatives. You wouldnt expect that service and still have to pay in any restaurant and you shouldnt. Just eat refused to give me a full refund.

Took more than double the advertised delivery time. Tried to cancel. Told delivery was out 20mins prior to call then turned up 25minutes later (45mins total) then refused refund after we refused to take the cold food. Very poor customer service and overall experience will be disputing via bank as dont believe i should pay for false advertising and for goods i didnt have.

If I could rate zero stars I would. There is nothing positive about this company

I received an order worth £17.71 that had visible mold on it. Serving moldy food is a serious health and food safety risk that completely contaminates the entire order.

When I contacted customer support, they refused a full refund to my original payment method, hiding behind their policies and only offering partial store credits (£4, £4.49, £12.49). It is absurd to expect a customer to take credit to order again after being delivered contaminated food.

Customer service completely ignored the food safety hazard and closed the case without resolving it properly. I will be initiating a chargeback through my bank and reporting this incident to the local Food Standards Agency / Environmental Health. Absolutely appalling service.

Poor customer service — refused to address an undersized KFC order

Received a KFC Boneless Banquet where the three chicken pieces were noticeably smaller in total and were clearly undersized. I took a picture with them on scales with just around 100g and contacted Just Eat, but instead of addressing the issue, they simply said portion sizes can vary between restaurants and refused any refund or compensation.

Even after I challenged this, they repeated the same decision without actually addressing the concern.

Very disappointing customer service. If Just Eat is happy to take responsibility for processing the order and payment, they should also take customer complaints about clearly inadequate portions seriously.

Whenever I order from just eat my orders get later and later my most recent one was placed at 16.30 and it's 19.00 hours and still not arrived it's obviously because you don't have enough drivers 😭

Awful 'customer service". 2 it3ms not delivered and they would not give me any compensation. This is theft. They dont care whats delivered as long as they have your money. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Do not use this company. Ordered a grocery order at £110. Driver arrived took my code then handed me a bad with 5 items in it. Clearly wasn’t my order which I pointed out. At this point he took the incorrect order back and told me to raise with customer service. I have done this but they were looking for a photo of what I have. Which of course is precisely nothing because the other order was taken away. I now have no food, no refund and no cash to reorder. The customer service is an absolute disgrace. Assume just speaking to robots as they do not listen to anything you say. Will not be using ever again and recommend

They have no drivers and no easy means to contact the restaurant or someone at Just Eat, not even an AI bot to answer questions .. this is a dieing business with no one manning the ship. Just deleted the App.

ive been waiting for my food for almost 3 hours now it is absolutely ridiculous and im not able to cancel my order as I then wint get my money back the app is a huge waste of time and I would have been more successful if I just walked there defining the point of the app its self
