Simple! My son was not excelling at a public school. He was getting mostly D's there, and he was unhappy. So we switched him to K through 12, and it was the best decision we made. He excelled and is doing wonderful. He'll actually be graduating on May the 30th. So very proud of him.. and he wouldn't have gotten there. If it wasn't switching him to k through twelve.

You guys are a great carbon copy of a school district that teaches the staar test instead of the subject. Your great at making the classes at a pace for the students that are struggling but not so great for those that need a faster paced learning environment. Your teachers are great but have their hands tied as to how to utilize those students that are exceeding the standard.

Meetings are really organized and informative but I think QnA time should be given after every meeting! I oftentimes leave with questions that never get answered. In addition, I feel like surveys are rarely taken seriously. I have done them before and someone was supposed to contact me and never did.

The teachers are great this year with email communication with my son (and me)! Kuddos to the 5th grade team.

I absolutely love the connection with my son's teachers. The way they are extremely understanding and caring really let's me know hes in good hands!! My son is Autistic and he has gotten more trusting with his teachers as the years went on :) Shout out to Miss. Kylie Shanholt. Shes so patient with our son and we just love her!!

The whole school year has been a struggle since changing platforms. Looking for a different school at this point.

Good school

History/ Government classes need to reflect all aspects of History with THE TRUTH.
When having college campus visits, there should be transportation support for those that need it.
When students graduating, OHVA should have ample information about internships, apprenticeships for ALL CTE fields.
Foreign languages should have live classes with an instructor on every level

Both years my daughter has had exceptional teachers. She is doing really well in school.

The teachers are very nice and don't have any means to accuse students of threatening behavior like they do in the public schools. My son didn't like the public schools much and wanted to join online schools since he was in the 8th grade which I should have done for all of the children. Thank God for online schools!

The mojority of the staff we have spoken to is very responsive and attentive! Teachers that my children have had these past few years have been wonderful and do their jobs right.

I wish everything was in one place instead of all over the place. This year has not been very good as far as the platform goes. The teachers are great. I had a very hard time getting her into tutoring which she needed 30 hours of math and 30 hours of reading. We crammed everything into a 2 month crunch because I couldn't find out how to get her in from the beginning of the year. Please fix this so others don't have to do that. This is my 5 year being a learning coach. I sometimes help a teacher find something because they don't see the same thing we do. So happy to have the option of screen sharing this makes it easier to help. I truly wish that teacher time extended on classes such as math and phonics or ELA up to the 4th grade. It sure is a lot of help. Children like the teachers in the teacher time videos. What a wonderful tool it is. Unfortunately it ends after first grade. Please see about adding it for higher grades. The emails more come to my phone instead of the student inbox which makes it difficult when the teacher sends a link for some kind of class work. Please remedy that. This is just my honest opinion about the changes that could help improve things going forward. Thank you for listening to us learning coachs
