Our family has been part of Kings InterHigh for the past 4 years, and I am genuinely grateful for the experience, support and opportunities the school has given my children.

As a parent, and also as a Parent Ambassador, I have had the opportunity to experience the school from different perspectives. I particularly enjoyed connecting and collaborating with families from around the world, which reflected the international nature of the school and helped create a real sense of community, despite learning taking place online.

My eldest two children have now moved on to a physical school, and one of the most rewarding things as a parent has been hearing the feedback from their new teachers and school community. They have been described as well-grounded, academically driven and independent, which is something I am incredibly proud of. I truly believe their six years at Kings InterHigh played a significant role in developing these qualities.

Online education has given them more than academic knowledge. It has encouraged them to take responsibility for their learning, develop independence, manage their time and become confident in their own abilities. Seeing them carry these skills into their next chapter has been a real testament to the value of their experience.

I would like to thank the teachers, staff and wider Kings InterHigh community for being part of their educational journey. Choosing an online school is a significant decision for any family, but our experience has shown me that online education can provide children with a strong academic foundation while helping them develop the independence and personal qualities they need for the future.

We will always appreciate the part Kings InterHigh has played in our children's lives, and I am thankful to have been part of the community for the past four years.

Thank you for helping prepare them not just for their next school, but for the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.

We previously posted a negative review about our experience with King’s InterHigh. In response, the school publicly invited us to contact them so they could look into our case. We did exactly that and provided detailed correspondence and evidence.
Unfortunately, what followed did not feel like a genuine review of our concerns. The school largely repeated its previous contractual position and relied on complaint time limits, while failing to meaningfully address several important issues we had raised, including the advice given before enrolment, our concerns that the proposed blended arrangement was unsuitable, our request at the time to be directed to an appeals process, our son’s very limited engagement with the school, and the later involvement of debt collectors.
What is particularly disappointing is that the public response to our earlier review gave the impression that the case would be properly reconsidered. In our experience, this did not happen.
We approached King’s InterHigh during an extremely difficult period for our family, hoping for flexibility, understanding and appropriate educational guidance. Instead, the experience became a prolonged source of financial and emotional stress.
I would strongly advise other parents to read every contractual term carefully, get any promises about blended or flexible arrangements in writing, ask exactly what happens if the placement proves unsuitable, and keep a complete record of all communications.
Based on our experience, we would not recommend King’s InterHigh.

Moving my daughter from mainstream school, to an online school was a very big decision. Honestly KIH have been and continue to be exceptional. It has been the best move for her. She is getting so much support and help and loving her lessons. Very happy parent.

The teachers are nice and dedicated so recommend children who like study and are able to organise their own schedule. The minus point is the admin, disorganised and doesn't respond fast enough.

Our experience with King’s InterHigh has been very positive. The enrolment process was clear and well organised, and we received professional, patient and timely support throughout. In particular, Mehwish Naeem guided us through every stage, answered our questions promptly and showed genuine understanding of our daughter Sevin’s circumstances and educational needs. This supportive approach gave us confidence that King’s InterHigh will provide Sevin with a safe, welcoming and flexible learning environment. We sincerely appreciate all the assistance we have received.

We enrolled our son at KIH after two years of him barely attending his huge bricks and mortar secondary school. He has ADHD and is autistic and was struggling with the environment from Year 7 onwards. We took a risk removing him from mainstream but he has thrived at KIH and now has 5 excellent GCSEs and has progressed to a local (in person) college for A levels. None of this would have been possible if we had stayed at our local secondary. The teachers here care, class sizes are much smaller and the learning is much more flexible.

I think this whole system needs to be reworked.

My son has been attending KIH for a little under a year now due to problems at his previous school. We thought this would help him because he would be able to learn calmly without being in a loud and noisy environment. However, that turned out to be the least of my worries after a couple of months.

First off, the Discoveries. These are said to be the main part of your learning. However, I believe the main source of learning should come from a teacher who is present during the lesson. This way, if a student has a question, it can be answered straight away rather than having to wait hours or even days for a response. This is especially important if they struggle with their memory. Yes, I am aware that there is a checkbox at the end asking whether you need any further help. However, my son has told me that he does not get asked what he is stuck on during the lesson.

The main issue is the communication. It is absolutely appalling.

I arranged a meeting with my son’s psychology teacher because he had a few questions about his GCSE. When it came time for the meeting, the teacher never showed up. This may have been an accident, but I still think it is worth pointing out.

Secondly, there are constant emails being sent to me about missing assignments and Discoveries. However, these emails are only sent to me and not to my son. I think it would be much better to include the student’s email address as well so they are aware of what they need to complete. I may be at work or busy, whereas my son could see the email himself and take responsibility for getting the work done.

Thirdly, KIH does not even appear to respond to reviews personally. Instead, an AI bot responds with automated messages. It gives the impression that they do not care enough to respond properly and would rather send out automated replies.

What has actually been put in place for children with SEN? My son has ADHD and dyslexia. When he first started, I attended a meeting-style call with other parents. This was a green flag because it showed that KIH was aware of these difficulties and the challenges students face. However, I still cannot understand what has actually been changed or put in place to support students with these additional needs.

One thing I will say, though, is that my son’s Reflect tutor is amazing. The amount of time and support she has given him has been incredible. Having someone who genuinely takes the time to help him has felt like a breath of fresh air.

There are too many emails being sent every day. No personal discussion no phone line to call. For someone who has a child coming in new to an online school this was very overwhelming and very hard to navigate.
From my sons perspective he is struggling also. He has been on calls where a teacher is just sat there and the kids are watching videos.
My son is struggling to get motivated and get into the schooling, I dont feel like any support has been offered. Emails are taking too long to be answered
Overall for me this has not been a great start for us unfortunately

We have had a very positive experience with King’s InterHigh. The support from the staff has been excellent, and we have always received clear and helpful information whenever we have had questions. The technical side of the school and the learning platform has also worked very smoothly. Most importantly, my son is very happy with his studies. Moving to King’s InterHigh has been a major and very positive change for him, and it has made a real difference to his learning experience and confidence.

A major weakness or missing point for Kings is we do not get any courses outlines on subscribed subjects which make it difficult to plan ahead and see how the different topics will integrate for each subjects or courses. For most schools, teachers are required to submit their course outline and lesson plans for the whole year. This lack of information does not reflect well on the readiness of teachers or whoever is managing this school!

We had a very positive experience with King’s InterHigh while exploring their programme and considering different academic options.
The team was responsive, professional and helpful, and took the time to consult the relevant subject teachers and provide useful feedback. Although we ultimately decided to pursue a different route, we really appreciated the quality of the programme and the support we received throughout.
We are very grateful for the time the team invested in helping us assess our options, even though this did not ultimately result in an enrolment. A very professional and supportive experience.

This review is in response to the online iGCSEs my son took through Kings InterHigh, not the teaching which was excellent.
Kings really needs to change how it conducts it’s iGCSE’s. They are currently using Pearson and the platform crashed multiple time during my sons GCSE’s, marks were then approximated but he was not graded fairly or high enough and now has to repeat a whole year to retake them.
Kings and Pearson exam fees are very expensive and the whole situation was so incredibly sad and stressful.
I do not recommended your child taking online iGCSE’s with Kings.Its too complex and very risky.

This school is run by very incompetent and irresponsible people. They delay in onboarding. The system is faulty. The lack of communication after you sign up is beyond frustrating. Everything admin related is done at a snail’s pace. There is no way of speaking to anyone with any authority by telephone. The process of making complaints and so-called escalation is completely pointless, as it’s ignored. I would never recommend this school to anyone. Due to admin issues, we are entering the fourth week of the academic year and my son has missed a whole week of classes and will miss another 4 days this week. My advice: stay well clear of this place if you value your child’s education.

The teaching is great, but website/tech is terrible. My son has only been with them for two weeks and the website has been down three times already. He's missed classes because of it and the school sends out no communications on this and has not resolved this. A bit worrying, as a start with this school. I'm really disappointed by the customer service and the lack of comms/service by the team. They seem to sell it to you and then don't care afterwards.

The global exchange program. That flexibility however with time communication deteriorated, IT access became science project, account department very defensive, impartualky and felt bullied a lot of times by this department. Not considerate, families are not treated as individuals, teacher not guving feedback of student performance, concerns and etc accordingly. Learning with KIH became survival of the fitted

Alex is enjoying his classes, the timetable is set up in a really nice way so enough balance between screen and off screen. Teachers are lovely and support online is very good. I learnt that there are some technical issues with some lessons from time to time but I guess that is the nature of online teaching.

I have been waiting over 10 days for a response to my request.

The live chat team have given me 3 different answers and the customer support team have not even had the courtesy to respond to my email

The lessons are good quality however the increasing offload onto Ai and emails for communication is a step backwards. Most people like a physical phone number and it used to be that the person answering the phone could help. Now it’s just a case raise and then you’re contacted via email. The feel is less connected because of that.

We made the decision to move to Kings in the summer and we are so glad we did.
Lots of info at the initial looking stage, webcalls/videos/group chats to ask as many questions as you need to.
Easy to enrol stages, payment/lesson/package choosing is simple.
Our daughter started,Yr 5, very nervous in week 1, week 2 she has found her voice again and is interacting/participating fully and she’s really enjoying the challenge of new systems/new teachers/new fast pace of lessons/timetable/ flexible learning totally bespoke for your child.
No more school uniforms,school runs, archaic classroom rules , hello to fun, facts,fantastic teachers.
I think she will fly by week 4…..

A very positive start at Kings InterHigh
Our son has recently started at Kings InterHigh attending the IB program ... our experience so far has been excellent. The school seems exceptionally well organised, and the teachers come across as enthusiastic and engaged. It’s still early days, but we’re very pleased with the start he’s had.
