Excellent tasting with lovely staff and a stunning location. Definately recommend

Excellent gin.

Kinrara Distillery is a real gem. We discovered their gins on a ski trip to Scotland several years ago and have been ordering gin from them ever since :) The highland gin in the gorgeous blue bottle is my favourite staple, but I also love the limited editions that I have tried. My latest order required them to use a new shipping company and Lorna phoned to ensure that all the correct shipping details were in order. Excellent customer service and a fabulous product... what's not to love??!

We had the pleasure of enjoying a very intimate and thoughtful tasting experience. We were walked through 6(!) different expressions of Kinrara's gin and paired these tastes on unique ways across a number of different mixers. Brett even gave us a ride back to Aviemore so that I could enjoy the tasting as well after driving there. Really went above and beyond for us.

We had a "private" (just the 2 of us) presentation - given with a lot of enthusiasm by a passionate lady. We learned a lot!

From the moment we arrived , we were greeted by the lovely ladies Lorna & Trish. We headed into the stunning tasting room where Trish explained all about the history of the Kinrara brand - she was extremely knowledgeable . We were then given advice about which mixers to pair with each gin. Fantastic afternoon spend here , and would highly recommend to anyone .

We had a great gin tasting experience which was made made entertaining and informative with the host Caroline. She gave us a warm welcome and even said call in any time to say hi. The adjoining shop is fully stocked with all the flavours they produce. We had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.

Our experience was both fun and relaxed! Gin was a plenty, and we learned about the production of the gin there on site at Kinrara! We learnt about Lorna foreging in the local area for ingredients, and about the behind the scenes hard work that is all part of the magic at Kinrara!
The art work you see on the bottles is both amazing and a brilliant touch!
Having been to a gin tasting before I was both inquisitive and excited to learn about and taste of the gin made near to where we were staying!
I wasn't let down! It was SMOOTH!!

KInrara Distillery is a small distiller but the welcome is anyhting but! Caroline who took us through the tasting was just superb. She was both very knowledgeable about all aspects of the gin but put it over in such an interesting and fun way. We were a group of six and were looked after so well on the Saturday. The attached shop is well stocked and you cannot help but purchase a bottle or two on the way out. All in all it was a great tasing, in very relaxed surroundings and we all really enjoyed the visit - so thank you to all at Kinrara for the tasting (we will be back!!)

as much as I think constructive criticism is important, in this instance I have nothing to say. Trish and her daughter were truly amazing, knowledgeable, informative, personable and lots of fun. The tour was just the right amount of everything including time. we've been to quite a few ginnerys over the years but this is the only one where every single gin was delicious, there wasn't one that we didn't enjoy. Well done Kinrara :)

We were a group of 5 ladies of a varying age range and Wow, what a fantastic experience we had, we’ve been to a few of these gin tasting experiences and Kinrara was, without a doubt the best and Trish was absolutely brilliant, so knowledgeable and great craic, we didn’t want to leave. I will definitely be recommending Kinrara to all my friends.

Really lovely gin tasting experience. Went with my partner as we couldn’t find any whiskey tasting in walking distance from aviemore and it was genuinely such a great afternoon. My partner usually dislikes gin but he’s now a convert! Would recommend.

This small distillery offers hand crafted gins, and gin tasting experience in an intimate setting. Friendly staff, book ahead as space is very limited.

I tried Kinrara Gin on a previous visit to Aviemore several years ago as I wanted to drink locally produced gin and loved both the gin and the bottle. We had a distillery visit 2 years ago which I really enjoyed and I couldn't wait to come back to taste my favourite gin in my favourite part of the world. It was so lovely to talk to Lorna about the art work on the Artists Edition bottles which I love, the locally foraged Juniper for the Estate Juniper Gin (which I had to buy to add to my collection) and the main reason I visit the area-the amazing wildlife. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. Thank you

The gins were excellent and covered a diverse range of tastes; all smooth and easy sipping or with mixers. Caroline was an outstanding guide suggesting mixers and garnishes for each of 8 gins. Ended up taking several bottles home. Lorna: you’re always welcome to borrow my reading glasses anytime.
