From start to finish the service received has been excellent. We encountered unexpected complications, but these were handled expertly and efficiently directly with the provider on my behalf.

I have spent more time drinking a glass of water than I have on the phone to the L&C advisor I just spoke to. Uninterested, blunt and didn't even want try and help. Completely useless service and rude advisor. I'm raging, total waste of time.

First class service from every L&C team member I have spoken to - all have been friendly and thorough in asking relevant questions to establish needs, then quick and efficient at finding suitable products to recommend. I found there was no pressure, but when you are ready to proceed they take you through the process step by step with regular updates. I received my new mortgage offer within 4 days of my first discussion with the mortgage advisor, and have saved about £250 per year on my life cover. Not many companies make service a priority anymore, but L&C do and stand out as a result. L&C will be the only broker I will use now when my mortgage and associated products are next due for review.

A fantastic service and would highly recommend. Hassan Al Qbain has been incredibly helpful throughout our remortgage, taking the time to explain our options clearly and making what could have been a stressful process feel straightforward. He was responsive, knowledgeable and genuinely went above and beyond to find the right option for us. We’re extremely grateful for his help and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Appalling communication, zero consistency, and no customer loyalty.

​My experience with L&C Mortgages has been consistently frustrating from start to finish. When securing my original mortgage through them, the communication was abysmal and emails were routinely ignored. To make matters worse, the person dealing with my application was changed multiple times without anyone troubling to inform me. Staff seem to leave constantly, so expect zero continuity.
​Now that my deal is coming up for renewal, I reached out to my designated advisor (Kirsty) expecting a basic level of service. Instead after chasing, I received a dismissive email stating she is "at full capacity" and telling me to go fill out a generic web form to wait for a call back.

​Once you're on their books, they couldn't care less. Terrible responsiveness, constant turnover, and no value placed on client retention. Save yourself the headache and use a broker who actually communicates.

This system is not designed for those with limited internet experience . I have experienced endless issues understanding what to upload and how to upload it and had to chase at every point. I was passed between 3 different companies who each had responsibility for different parts. What would be useful is a trail at the beginning of what is needed by whom and when and …most importantly who has access to my details as it seems to me to be an identity thief’s paradise.
Started this 2 months ago and still don’t know what is outstanding and what documents has gone where..one system lost my documents . No confidence at all .my calls have not been returned nor emails.

L&C were great for getting the mortgage setup, and very communicative and available at times outside of my work hours which was really helpful. My one bug bear, is they have partnered with a lot of other businesses since I last had a mortgage from them, and all those businesses want you to sign up with them for their insurance, surveys etc quickly before you've had a chance to look around for yourself, and it can feel like you're being bombarded with emails and phone calls from companies at a time when you're trying to keep everything organized. That said I'm still happy with the core service and the mortgage I was recommended and would use them again.
