Being my first time using this type of service, I was a little apprehensive.
After the initial phone call I decided to go with this particular law firm solely based on the nice experience I had with the representative.
I did feel after I paid for the services the experience was slightly lesser.
Communication was easy via email and via phone. Some important information I felt was brief, which would have aided me on the day of court and on the day my solicitor representative didn't have all the information to hand and arrived later than planned which of course being my first time made me quite nervous.
However the process was explained calmly which put me at ease before the hearing.
The outcome was successful but I felt there was some miscommunication, and I can't help but feel once the service had been sold to me the level of service provided dropped.
Once again, still got the outcome which was positive, the communication was present but as a first experience and paying a significant sum I'm not entirely confident the full value was there, however I don't have anything to compare it to

Initial consultation over the phone was very reassuring, l felt like the gentleman l spoke to l think his name was Connor, knew exactly what he was talking about. Ultimately got the result l wanted (no points) so l can't speak highly enough of this firm and their team.

Hands down the worst solicitors I’ve ever used in my life quick enough to take your money yet take months to reply or even look into your case. Would not recommend to anyone. Disgrace of a firm

This is a disgusting company I'd just ask anybody to check twice before making a decision.

Tom was great, he took his time to hear what I had to say and then explained everything in detail.

Anyone in their right mind should think twice before hiring this firm.

I was accused of failing to provide a specimen in an alcohol related case. My first call with Tom was convincing and gave me confidence that my case could be thrown out. That was the only time I felt supported.

I pleaded not guilty due to a genuine medical reason, asthma backed by medical records. However, at my first hearing, I was told my case would be difficult because I had not attempted the breath test in custody. I was informed this could be used by the prosecution to argue there was no way to determine whether I would have failed. I had made this very clear from the very first call, before even agreeing to representation. At that point, it became obvious I was fighting a losing battle, heading toward a trial that would cost me thousands.

I had no choice but to change my plea to guilty. Despite paying a fixed fee of £4,995 plus VAT, I was later told by Rebecca that I would need to pay an additional £2,500 plus VAT for representation at the change of plea-sentencing hearing. That would have taken my total costs to nearly £10,000 just to plead GUILTY!

Communication was terrible. Calls were rarely returned, yet when payment was needed, the response was instant. At court, I was represented by different third party barristers who barely knew my case. I had to explain everything from scratch on each occasion.

The barrister on the day of my sentencing hearing seemed more concerned about her car parking timer running out than about my case. I was also asked to provide character references from professionals, family and friends. I gathered and submitted them, but they were never mentioned in court, despite me chasing this up beforehand.

Overall, a very expensive and disappointing experience. If you know you have little chance of winning, save your money and plead guilty from the start. I was never given a clear answer on my chances.

From initially contacting M.A.J Law to being represented at court I've always been kept up to date with information and provided with great advice. I was initially facing losing my license and thanks to the hard work from the team at M.A.J Law I've manged to keep my license with points and fine.

The whole process was smooth and clearly explained and I can't recommend them enough for anyone facing any driving offences.

I was given a very good barrister by MAJ law. This was very much appreciated. It can be very stressful talking to people about events that have happened, especially as you may fear that people may not believe you. I encourage people to be as open and honest with your solicitor with as much detail as possible. I would say generally speaking, MAJ Law are trustworthy company.

This firm has successfully defended both of my cases with the police for drug driving. From the first I was impressed, but that impression soon changed. Several times I had to chase them up and ask questions they should have been asking. Then I met their appointed barrister in court, I should have run screaming the minute they said ‘I’m a criminal lawyer, not a motoring offence one”. When I asked them about 2 items regarding a possible defence, they looked at like I had three heads, basically they didn’t have a clue.
I contacted the office, got given a load of waffle and now it’s going to the legal ombudsman
** my advice is, look online for information and you’ll be far better qualified to argue your case & save a fortune in the process**
