Pessima su tutta la linea: carro attrezzi 1 incapace e malannoso, carro attrezzi 2 parente di 1 e scortese. Rifiutano preventivo officina e io devo pagare il 75 per cento del costo riparazione. Il pezzo da sostituire fornito (alternatore) non è nuovo ma rigenerato e in condizioni da sfasciacarrozze. Niente auto di cortesia ne rimborso per 11 giorni di attesa a 700 KM da casa, disabile con cane. STATE ALLA LARGA.

Stay away from Mawdy travel insurance! I sustained an injury aboard a Vidanta cruise and saw the ship doctor twice. I filed a 15 page claim (claim forms and supporting documents) and emailed them to the email address specified on the claim form. The response was that this email address is only for citizens of Ireland filing claims and he didn't know where I was to submit it as a U.S. citizen. I researched and emailed all 15 pages to an additional 7 email addresses with no response from any of them. I spent more on the purchase of this policy than the amount of the out of pocket medical bill. Had I known I was to bear the full amount of the bill, I would have skipped this useless insurance. I should have checked ratings before purchasing because I am now seeing plenty of dissatisfaction and low consumer ratings for Mawdy. Don't bother with this one.

Assicurazione inutile. Alla fine trovano sempre una scappatoia per non pagare i danni e i concessionari autorizzati per proseguire i lavori chiedono i soldi direttamente all'utente. Assolutamente da evitare!

My experience has been extremely disappointing. It often feels like insurance companies are more focused on finding technical wording and loopholes to avoid paying claims than actually supporting their clients when they need help most.
Instead of protection and peace of mind, the process becomes stressful, with every word seemingly twisted against you. After paying premiums faithfully, customers expect fairness, transparency, and genuine assistance — not endless legal interpretations designed to deny claims.
I hope the industry moves toward greater transparency and customer care in the future, where insurers focus more on helping clients and building trust rather than looking for reasons not to pay.

Extremely poor service – refund delayed for weeks and no accountability

I have been waiting for my refund for more than six weeks and the experience has been extremely frustrating. I was constantly redirected between different companies (Refundandgo, Be Safe Group, MAWDY, and even the hotel where I purchased the insurance). No one takes responsibility, no one provides clear information, and every time I contact them, I receive a different answer.

I submitted all required documents several times, yet I keep being told that something is missing. This is simply unacceptable. A refund process should not take weeks, and customers should not have to chase multiple companies just to receive what they are contractually entitled to.

This level of disorganization and lack of transparency is highly unprofessional. I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this insurance partner.
