Ordered a pot set. Order too far away so canceled. No refund. Just a credit. Asked for a refund no response. Trying to order something else and no where to apply my credit on the order!! So frustrating!! Will not be buying from Mighty Ape again.

Truly disgusting service! I preordered an item through Mighty Ape. Days after the release date of the item and it not being shipped yet, I contacted support to be told the item had been "delayed from the supplier" (despite all other stores in the country receiving stock).
Only a couple hours after this, I received an email saying my order had been cancelled and I would be refunded because they "oversold" the product. Which is disgusting practice. If I had been told before the product released I may have been able to track it down and buy it elsewhere, but it was a popular item and it was sold out NZ-wide by the time this all happened, so I missed out entirely because of Mighty Ape and their terrible practice. I am incredibly disappointed.

Pretty straight forward process when ordering online. I've never had an issue purchasing products on this website. Great delivery service as well.

One of the top most frustrating and disappointing customer experiences of my past 25 years of my life! I ordered a robux gift card for a boy who had a birthday. The website mentioned that it will be instantly delivered to my email. It never arrived even on the day after his birthday. Ruined it. There is no way to ring the customer service. They don't even respond to my several messages left on their chat box. I cannot believe their insensitivity and escapism. They don't even offer any assistance or support to help you deal with this issue and no reparations either. I can submit the chat history to show how they deal with such issues, highly disappointing and cortisol raising experience.

I'm extremely disappointed with the level service I've received from this company.
I've placed an order with the expectation that it would be delivered within the promised time frame. Unfortunately not only was my delivery delayed but I was also informed that it has been postponed to an even later date. What's most frustrating is the lack of reliability and poor customer service.
I would not recommend this company based on my experience, and I hope they seriously improved their delivery process and customer communication moving forward.

I have used mighytape since 2010, and had very good experience until this year. the shipping cost is absolutely ridiculous.
First primate free shipping became very limited.
2nd, the cost for shipping calculated by each item, when I try to order 8 manga books, the shipping cost was $70

to be honest, i don't know what's wrong with this company. the standard shipping is more expensive than JBHIFI and the warehouse. and the deal is not that great anymore. Kogan certainly is a good failure example.

I think all primate members should seek for law protection our right and report them. as mightape claim they have 99% products for free shipping, and I think it's a fake and misdirect customers

I have been a customer of Mighty Ape from the beginning. I ordered two packages of Thermoskin ice wrap on 1st April. I expected to get it within a couple of days, I have heard nothing apart from the initial 'we're on to it'. I went into the account to find that (a) it was not in stock and is coming from Australia, not obvious on the website. (b) It's still sitting in Aus waiting to be shipped (c) No communication from mighty ape about this at all, just silence (This is my last purchase from Mighty Ape ever. Utterly disappointed.

It was really awesome when the company would let me know where and what date my package would arrive. I extremely thought it was even better when they informed me that my books were delivered and they were!!!! Great communication 🤗🤗🤗

Have purchased multiple items & found the entire experience to be totally awesome, I now check Mighty Ape first when looking for products. Prices are 99% cheaper in comparison and this can be verified by the Price Spy site as well.

The system continually keeps you informed with delivery progress via emails and product ETA.

They also, have the best mobile plan in NZ, don't tell anyone!!!
I purchased a one-year sim card plan on an annual basis which has saved me hundreds with unlimited Calls, Texts & Data (Choose your required data speed).
I then purchased another one-year sim card plan with a promotion - 2 sim cards for the price of one ULTRA-Fast plan literally saved thousands of dollars in comparison to other mobile providers.

Data availability being the real deciding factor here, I
was sick of being charged for going over my data limit every month.

Great communication from the team when i hadn’t noticed my item was on pre order, I waited patiently for 2 months (it was a great enough bargain and much cheaper than anywhere else) and i got what i purchased:) cant wait to give it a go thanks team!

Absolute worst experience. They advertised a expected delivery day of 17/3/26 and its now 2/4/26 and I still havent recieved it. I have 'live chatted' with them 5 times to resolve this. Apparently the order got lost in the system - we are talking two full Queen sized matteress. Avoid at all costs. Would leave a negative review if I could

This supplier has a very unfair attitude to returns. Buying a product online requires the buyer to be able to trust the seller to accept returns of products that don't work as the buyer expected. This unscrupulous seller uses excuses like: you opened the box so you cant return it. Even though the item is new, used for only a few minutes (only to find out that it won't work with my laptop) and re-packed as it was when it arrived. Worst Online experience ever.

Used the company for 20 years was a great company but seems things have changed under kogan. Have a faulty item worth a fair bit and is out of warranty but most definitely covered under consumer guarantees act, from the get go they were trying to worm their way out of the cga before I had even sent the device (a gaming device that was 1400$ breaking after 2 years) they basically didnt like the report the got from the first techand sent it so where else and have said it's water damage and provided no evidence, I also called the first tech and they have told me there was no sign of water damage, I have since disassembled the device and inspected under microscope and no moisture issues, very disappointed now I have to go through the courts. Mighty ape will not budge

Purchased an item for a friend on their Mighty Ape account, which was all fine and well. A trial of their subscription service was added but promptly cancelled after the order was completed. However, I was charged the full 12 months long after that cancellation, which came with a variety of fees as it put my account into arrears.

According to ACCC and NZCP, these fees are the liability of Mighty Ape, however they are not acknowledging responsibility or attempting to resolve the issue. I will be escalating this appropriately.
