Dean & Rhys came yesterday to fit the screen to my veranda. They were lovely guys who did a great job, paying attention to the smallest detail. Very personable gentlemen.

Update (11/8/2026) on review after hearing from Customer Service. I was reassured by the prompt response from Customer Service and the actions they indicated they were taking. I have not change the rating as this is the position at the time. those reading the review should though acknowledge the follow up response etc. that took place. Review of 28/7/2026) - The lead operative that turned up to 'fix' a warranty issue (the electric valance was stopping short when closing) was arrogant and a a bit rude. Parked the vehicle is a location where others could not pass. Had to be asked 3 times to move it at which he tossed the keys to the support operative and told him to move it. Then pressed buttons on the remote, didn't tell me what he had done (presumably so that when it happens and the awning is out of warranty they can charge for attendance). He then almost tossed the remote at me (rather than hand it to me and advise what had happened), said 'all done' and walked off...... That was annoying enough but when I contacted the company to complain, they did not respond. Very poor customer service.

Barry & Ross installed our awning & did an absolute cracking job...punctual, curteous & respected our property...from survey to install nationwide have been superp 5* would deffinately recommend

Reece and Dean fitted our awning yesterday and were absolutely brilliant. They explained everything perfectly, talked through options to ensure we were happy, and were really polite and friendly. They took so much care whilst fitting as though it was their own property! Really nice guys, would definitely recommend.

Simon and his team sent a text on the morning to let us know approximately time of arrival. From then on what a fantastic team fitting our Pergola. Lovely, polite and friendly and worked non stop throughout the day. High quality work and ensured garden was constantly clean. Were with us for two days and cannot comment highly enough on how professional, friendly, well organised and working to a high clean standard throughout.
On completion Simon talked us through the operation of our Pergola and ensured we were confident and happy with everything before leaving.
Would highly recommend the company and big thanks to Simon, Jake, Josh and Lawrence. You were amazing.

Wanted an awning installed to keep out the overwhelming heat from the sun. I read a few reviews and decided to go with nationwide. With the salesman John, with his guidance and knowledge of the product I decided to go ahead and purchase an awning. From the start to install takes four weeks. Then came the three likely lads Rhys, Dean and Luke to do the install very nice chaps, done a very professional job could not be more happier. So if your uming or erring wheather to buy one you will not regret it. I certainly have not, my score is 10/10

We’ve just had the most amazing Nationwide Awning fitted by Matt and Harry. They were very friendly, knowledgable, tidy and super efficient. The awning is extremely robust and looks well made and the grey fabric with thin white stripes looks beautiful. They explained how to operate the awning and the lights in detail. We are over the moon with our new outdoor under cover space and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the company. It’s worth every penny!

Smart van brilliant logo.crew dressed accordingly. Super early it was good. Opened back n front for easy access. Removal of front back and garage door and panel....Fitted front back and double garage doors. Did offer men cups a tea.they prefer to push on....on finishing pass paperwork. Handed us keys to all doors and gave an inspection. Clean and clear brushed up tidy.done,truly excellent job.Master craftsmen at their best....I THANK YOU👍

Great experience done by professionals

A great trouble free installation by Barry - a 5m awning with a 3m reach. The old awning was removed without a hitch & taken away. It was all done in a couple of hours and they took with them all packaging materials. In all, a great job.

 I had an awning fitted over my sitting room windows by Nationwide Home Innovations at the start of this year. I am so glad I did! I live in a bungalow with large windows . In the summer, my sitting room gets very hot. The awning has reduced the temperature and the glare in that room considerably during the current heatwave. I am very pleased with my purchase. All aspects of the purchasing, fitting & use of the awning have gone well from my initial meeting with the customer service rep through the survey and fitting and now using the awning. I would recommend this company.

Matt and Harry, the fitters arrived on time on the day of installation. They worked hard throughout the day installing my veranda, heater and lights. They are both charming, professional and thorough and have an excellent work ethic. I am extremely happy with the end result and it complements my house and provides respite from the UK rain. Matt and Harry cleaned up all the mess and took away all of the rubbish.
Unfortunately my fuse in my fuse box can not currently deal with the added outage of the 2kw heater so I'm having to get that updated by an electrician before I can use the heater.
Nationwide sent an initial sales person and then a surveyor before the fitters.
I wonder whether the surveyor should have checked that my electrics would be able to cope with the heater that was recommended by the sales chap?

Everyone we dealt with was polite and efficient. It was all explained clearly and went exactly as said. We love the result. So pleased we had it installed.

Unfortunately the Somfy motor in my awning failed and after contacting Nationwide they arranged an urgent visit from their engineers as the canopy was nearly fully out.
Matt and Harry were very professional and polite and fitted a new motor and ensured all was working as new.
Excellent service and even sweeter as the 5 year warranty was still in date by 1 month!!

The pergola itself is good quality but the installation process has been dire - 3 visits and still the remote control for the roof isn't programmed. The first installation team wired the roof incorrectly and damaged the electrics, then misdiagnosed the issue, the repair team therefore brought the wrong partand couldn't fix it, the third attempt fixed the system but were unable to contact the person who knew how to program the roof remote control. More than 2 months after the initial installation and still not completed.
Not impressed with Head Office customer service team who are reluctant to properly apologise and haven't contacted me 3 days on from the third visit to say when the remote will be sorted.
For a product that is so expensive I expected far better and remain extremely disappointed with Nationwide.
