Same as the review below, they’ve dragged out a simple purchase for months. The case gets passed from person to person and no one has a clue what’s going on. I’ve been told they were awaiting search results but I already had confirmation of these. They said they had partial replies to enquiries when I was told they had the enquiries and they were being reviewed. I have had to ask countless times for updates and it’s like trying to get blood out of a stone. My grandfather passed away last week and I mentioned all this was adding to the stress of tying up his estate. They couldn’t even bring themselves to offer their condolences or acknowledge that I was dissatisfied with what they were doing. Absolutely shocking solicitors and I wish my financial advisor hadn’t recommended me to them just ‘because they were the cheapest’. £1.300 is a lot of money to some people but I’d rather have paid more to get a better service

David Coleman provided great legal advice regarding a breach of contract. He gave invaluable advice and I highly recommend David and Newbold Solicitors.

Our experience with Newbold solicitors was dreadful. We had to do lots of chasing and the day before we were due to exchange contacts and get the keys, I was told it would have to be put off for a week. This left me homeless for 7 days, my furniture had to be put in storage until the following week. The solicitor refused to accept any responsibility and eventually gave me £200 as a "goodwill gesture". This was a fraction of what it cost. The stress was awful and it really spoilt the experience. I am extremely surprised to see that the solicitor is still working for the company.

I employed Newbold Solicitors to purchase a property for me. The sale didn't go through due to issues on the Vendor side, but I had tremendous service from Alysha and Jasmine who conducted themselves professionally and efficiently and did everything possible with a difficult Vendor to secure the sale.

Tracey went the extra mile in her dealings with my buyer's solicitor who was being very slow in responding. Even more impressive was Tracey's tenacity to get things back on track including working late into the evening to clear 28 enquiries rasied by my buyer's solicitor at a very late stage. Mindful of this setback Tracey ensured all aspects were kept transparant and on track to ensure completion of my sale and purchase were simultaneous on the agreed date.
This is the second time i have used Tracey with house conveyancing and wouldnt hesitate to recommend her - from my recent experience in buying a new home it is also apparent Tracey is highly respected within the new build sales community , firmly earning respect with her professionalism, meeting expectations and ensuring new build deadlines are met.
