Our experience with Odynovo Tours began with email exchanges with our Odynovo Travel Consultant, Queenie Yang. After she gathered enough information to know exactly what we were looking for in a trip to SE Asia, she came up with an excellent itinerary that only needed a few minor adjustments to match our very specific desires. Communicating with Queenie was always quick and efficient, with her returning an email as soon as the different time zones permitted it, often within minutes! The itinerary included 5-star hotels, private guides, private cars and private airport transfers. It was so well-planned that we were able to enjoy our vacation without giving anything a thought, as Queenie had taken care of even the most minute details. After returning home from our month-long trip, it's hard to believe that we never encountered a single problem!

All of the guides were punctual and provided tours that always used time efficiently. EVERY guide provided a wealth of information that was educational, enlightening, and fascinating. We were always taken to local restaurants in order to discover the great tastes of the area. After being with each guide for 3 or 4 days, we felt we had a new friend. The drivers were equally friendly and helpful, always providing excellent driving skills.

Each of the 5-star hotels were unique and offered great accommodations and public areas. These hotels, combined with the wonderful hospitality provided by the employees, helped to make a long trip also restful.

I appreciate the help that the guides always provided upon arrival and departure from the airports. The guides were always with us from check-in until we entered security. What a relief to have someone who speaks the local language ensuring that we were being cared for properly!

In summary, the entire trip was more than we were hoping for. There were never any surprises or unexpected costs. In Bangkok, when a highway closure required a re-routing and re-ordering of our plans, our guide, Nick, took care of it so we wouldn't miss a thing! We will definitely use Odynovo to plan our next adventures!

This was the second tour with Odynovo (Queenie). Again we were pleased beyond our expectations: the hotels were beautiful (from the luxury hotel in Ubud to the lush mountain villa); tour guides were thoughtful and knowledgeable; the personal itinerary couldn't have been better. What I appreciate about our tour consultant is the care she uses to make sure our needs and wants are met. Through a number of back and forth emails, she made a number of recommendations and was always willing to listen to our particular quirks and requests. Even during the trip, she would check with our guides to make sure all was going well and if there were any changes.

Our trip started in Singapore, then to Java and Bali in Indonesia. Our guides on both islands always watched out for us and guided us through Hindu temples, palaces, and breath-taking rice fields. Driving is crazy in Indonesia---the traffic is a nightmare. But our drivers were wonderful, careful, and safe.

What we appreciate the most about our tours is we feel and are safe. Our drivers and guides are professionals and make sure we are well taken care of.

Booking a tour to Thailand, without any knowledge of what to do and how to get there was very anxiety producing. But from the beginning, our experience with David Tan became a trust that alleviated all our worry. And the experience was exactly what David said everything was in order. All the plans worked out perfectly. The guides, especially Tammy, who we spent the most time with, were super, and we had the best vacation of our life.

We recently celebrated our anniversary with a two-week trip to Thailand planned by Odynovo, and we couldn't be more impressed! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and enjoyable, thanks to Joan and the amazing team she coordinated for us.

Joan was an absolute pleasure to work with—she helped us plan every detail, offering great options for accommodations and activities. We started planning almost a year in advance, and Joan stayed in touch with us the entire time. Her communication was excellent, and she was always quick to respond to our questions, making the whole process stress-free.

When our trip began, we were blown away by the incredible travel guides, Pokky and Jacky. They were both exceptional! Not only were they knowledgeable and helpful throughout the trip, but they also went above and beyond to assist us at the airports. They personally guided us through check-ins and security, which was a lifesaver during the chaotic travel moments. Even as seasoned travelers, their support made everything so much easier and stress-free.

We can't recommend Odynovo enough. The company exceeded all our expectations, and Joan, Pokky, and Jacky truly made our trip unforgettable. We would absolutely book another adventure with Odynovo in the future!

we had a great 9 day visit to Egypt with the tour of Cairo then the tour down the Nile.planned by the travel expert Ms Lynn Lie who was very quick to respond to all our questions and planned a trip we will never forget.for the tours of CAIRO we had the excellant Giudes of Mr Mohamed Abdel Kader and Mr Mohamed Attia and Mr Hatem Soliman was the guide on the Nile cruise. all three guides were very knowledgable and professional. we would deffinantly use Odonova again. it was the best trip we have ever had.

Joan from Odynovo tour company is great. We have made few trips through her…. She is excellent. She do really care to make a tour plan as you wanted… she is quick to respond to your questions or any other concerns you may have. She also follow up with you and the driver/guide during your tour. Because of her I have multiple trip I’m considering with Odynovo.

A_MAZING!!!!! This was my second tine I travelled with Odynovo and both times my trips were arranged by Eric. I just got back from a 2 weeks tour through Japan as a solo traveller. I KNEW I was about to have an amazing time and experience, but it was BEYONF my expectations. EVERYTHING was perfectly arranged and all went very smoothly. The hotels were just perfect and perfectly located, the private guides were extremely fun and could tell me gazzilions things about the culture and Buddhism. Very relaxed as if I was walking with a friend! Yes it was VERY busy 9as fall season is a very popular time for people to visit Japan), but still with the expertise of the guides it was manageable. I am going back to Japan in March as I want to hile in the mountains and see some more of the beauty that Japan has to offer and am odd to Thailand at the end of net year. Always arranged by Odynovo and especially by Eric. I really cannot express enough my appreciation and gratitude to everyone at Odynovo.

Joy at Odynovo Travel put together a wonderful trip for my wife and me. Beijing-Xian-Zhangjiajie-Shanghai-Suzhou

Included were tours of the Forbidden City, The Great Wall, Terra Cotta Warriors, Xian city, Zhangjiajie Mountains with Glass bottom walkway, Fenghuang Ancient City, Suzhou gardens & canals and Shanghai Museum to name a few. Our guides, Eva, Zoe, David and Celine were very knowledgeable, got us to places to avoid crowds and were very fun.

We were in Fenghuang for Halloween and David, our guide, got some masks, lighted headgear and light sabers for us to play with!

The hotels and the locations were great. We enjoyed exploring the areas on our own in the evenings after our guided tours, the hotels were well located for us to do that.

Due to a typhoon near Shanghai our flight was cancelled. Joy at Odynovo Travel responded immediately with some alternatives, we ended up on the high speed train from Zhangjiajie to Shanghai. The train was great fun, made up for missing a free day in Shanghai.

I would highly recommend Joy & Odynovo Travel for a trip to China.

Being in China for a science conference, I was hoping to do some sightseeing but didn't feel comfortable exploring on my own without speaking the language. Thankfully a colleague suggested I reached out to Anders at Odynovo. He was most helpful at organizing a short private tour, which was absolutely fantastic. Having a private car and a highly knowledgeable and friendly guide, Ms. Dina Zhang, made it super-easy to tour the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace in Beijing and traveled to the Great Wall, all wonderful places. Thanks to Dina - who is also a great photographer - I have lots of beautiful pictures of me in these locations to remind me of a very special trip. Thanks Odynovo Tours!

I recently concluded a 12-day tour of four cities in China with Odynovo as a solo female traveler. Odynovo was truly the best from start to finish: a superbly organized trip with hotels in excellent locations and service.

We just returned from a fantastic 14-night trip to Thailand, planned through Odynovo with Cathy. From start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations. Cathy was incredibly patient and accommodating as we worked through multiple itinerary changes, ensuring every detail was perfect.

1. Tour Operator Leila Deng & Odynovo
This is my 7th trip organized by Leila Deng and Odynovo. I am always incredibly happy to work with Odynovo for my trip tours and Leila always does an incredible job organizing our tours. I will continue to book tours through Odynovo because they are reliable, attentive to their guests’ needs, and always organize fun tours to the places we would like to see. I would recommend this tour company to anyone considering them. Pleased work with Leila, who is always fantastic.
2. Employees of the MV Amalia Boat
The employees on the MV Amalia were nothing short of amazing. Their professionalism, care for their guests, fun attitudes, and kindness made this 3 day boat tour the highlight of our trip. I would like to especially thank our guide Marsileno for his incredible services. Marsileno was incredibly kind to my mother, very personable and kind, and made our experience truly amazing.
3. Komodo National Park 3 Day Tour
I would like to highlight how incredible our 3 day tour was in the Komodo National Park. We hiked, snorkeled, cruised on the boat, ate delicious food, swam with manta rays, and had the rare chance to see 3 Komodo dragons on Rinca island. This tour is amazing and I recommend it for anyone considering it.
4. Java Island Guide “Yoga”
I would like to highlight our amazing guide Yoga, who assisted us around Java island. Yoga was a very fun person and became a friend for life. His incredible insight and passion for Java island made our experience come to life. Yoga was kind, personable, patient, and attentive to our needs. I am so thankful we had Yoga as our guider and I would recommend him to anyone who is touring Java island.
5. Four Points by Sheraton Surabaya Hotel
This hotel in Surabaya was excellent and we are very thankful to Odynovo for booking this hotel. It was clean, had a great breakfast, and very quality service. This hotel is also next to a large mall with many food and shopping options. We were incredibly pleased with our experience here.

Things that could Improve:
1. Sankara Ubud Hotel
-We were not very pleased with this hotel for several reasons. The pool was closed for a hotel event the day we were there, the room was not well cleaned, one of the two queen sized beds made loud noises when you moved on it (causing my travel companion to wake up during the night), the safe was broken, and the door key reader was broken. The hotel breakfast was good and the staff were very nice.
2. AV Amalia Boat
While our overall experience on the 3 day Komodo National Park boat tour was excellent, we were not very pleased with the overall conditions of the boat MV Amalia. The toilet seat in the guest quarters was broken and not attached to the toilet when we arrived. The bed sheets were old and color warped from use. And the air conditioner was not very powerful, causing the room to become warm at different times during the stay. This boat needs some upkeep to be in proper condition for guests. The rest of the boat was to our satisfaction.
3. Tegalalang Rice Terraces
Our visit to the Tegalalang Rice Terraces ended up below expectations. We anticipated being able to walk down below and look at the rice terraces from above, while taking some time to enjoy the scenery. Our tour here consisted of only a picture at the top viewpoint and an offer to take a picture on the touristy swing (we declined this offer). Our guide did not seem prepared to spend more time here besides to take 2 pictures. We were disappointed in this experience and feel this location is more of a tourist attraction than an authentic Balinese location.

My recent trip to Japan, organised by Queenie at Odynovo Tours was awesome! Queenie crafted a personalised itinerary that balanced famous landmarks with local experiences, allowing my friends and I to explore Japan's vibrant culture and stunning landscapes. Whether I was in Osaka, Kyoto or in Mt Fuji, the guides we had (Fiona and William) were knowledgeable and engaging, offering unique insights into Japan's history and customs. Queenie's responsiveness throughout the planning process made the trip smooth and memorable. I highly recommend Queenie, the Japanese guides Fiona and William and the team at Odynovo for an amazing travel experience. Thank you!

Odynovo helped my husband and me organize a private 15 day tour of Japan in October 2024. The travel consultant, Alick Peng, who worked with us, helped us personalize the trip. The process was interactive and he helped design a trip that matched our interests and concerns. For instance we wanted to see notable gardens as well as cultural and historical sites. Also we did not want to be moving to a new place every day or two, so we were able to have longer stays in Tokyo and Kyoto and do a couple of day trips from each. We wanted to include two days during the trip where we were on our own without a guide.

Everything about the tour worked out well: hotels were good, drivers were prompt and courteous. All transfers worked well.

Best of all we had wonderful guides during our whole trip. We want to give a shout out to all our guides: they were knowledgeable and personable, and it was enjoyable to spend a day in their company experiencing the temples, castles, gardens, and the history and culture of Japan. Being a vegetarian in Japan is not easy and our guides helped find restaurants where I was able to get excellent vegetarian meals. Thank you to: Yoichiro Taira, Yumi Takase, Toshie Kanda, Naoko Fukunishi, Satomi Matsumoto, Mizuhi Yoshikawa and Yoko Kobayashi.

Each day had a full itinerary, yet at a pace that suited us. It was a great introduction to a country with a rich and long history and made us want to return.

We would definitely book a tour again with Odynovo!

I wanted to organise a trip to Huangshan and found it difficult to arrange everything for an independent trip. I looked around and saw that Odynovo not only could arrange a trip to Huangshan, but also included additions such as a trip to Hogcun and a gentle hike along the Xin'an River.

Ander was very easy to deal with to organise the trip.

And when I arrived in Huangshan City I was picked up by my guide Alvin and driver Mr Xu.

Alvin was a great guide on this trip. He even helped me out at the railway station after my trip had concluded.

Mr Xu was a courteous and helpful driver.

Everything about this trip was very professional.

Huangshan was beautiful and I very much enjoyed my 2 night/3 day stay there.

I would happily recommend the trip and everyone I dealt with (Alvin, Ander and Mr Xu) and I would definitely use Odynovo again.

I worked with Ander Zou at Odynovo to create a special, lifetime trip that I wanted to do with my adult family. I could not find a packaged tour that had all I wanted to do. Ander put together a high quality, personalized trip for my family group of six. We got to do everything we wanted to do: Victoria Falls, Devil's Pool, Zambezi River Cruise, Chobe River Cruise, Chobe National Park Game Drive, Kruger National Park with 6 game drives, Panorama Route, Port Elizabeth, Addo Elephant Park, Tsitsikamma National Park with Storms River Mouth hike, Garden Route, Plettenberg Bay, Robberg Hike, Bloukrans Bridge bungee jumping, Knysna, Mossel Bay, Franshoek and Stellenbosch Winelands and Cape Town. We were always met and guided through airports and transfers, had great day guides who knew which sights to see, and we got to travel in a small group with just the six of us. Our selection of accommodations wasluxurious. All domestic travel went smoothly. After Ander put the trip proposal together, I compared his price to two other larger group tour packages that I had been looking at, and for the same price, we got to do everything we wanted to do and spend more days in South Africa. This is the second time I have use Odynovo for a customized tour and I have been very satisfied and impressed both times. During the trip both Ander and local travel contacts checked in with me to see how it was going. Working with Ander went very easily and smoothly. He responded quickly and politely. I am very pleased. Odynovo and Ander have my top endorsement.

We booked the classic China 14 day tour with Bruce from Odynovo Guilin. Bruce customised the trip to suit our family’s needs. It was a private 5 star hotel holiday which included many highlights. The accommodation he choose for us was amazing and the locations brilliant . Bruce organised all the domestic flights, airport transfer’s, bullet train tickets plus the Rice Terraces tour which we thoroughly recommenced. Our English speaking guides and drivers were all fantastic. Fei and Mr Yung in Guilin, Kevin and Mr Woo in Chengdu, Coco and Mr Jo from Xian plus My Yung and Candy in Beijing. We were really looked after . It was a truely hassle free way to travel . Bruce was so helpful and was always quick to respond to my questions when we were first planning our holiday . China has soo many highlights. Suzhou and the canals, Shanghai the bund, Guilin has the beautiful landscape , Rice Terraces and the Li River, Chengdu and those cute Pandas , Xian with the terracotta warriors plus the walled city you can ride a bike around and Beijing with the Great Wall.
