Installed about 1 month ago, took business broadband for the speed and service as we have clients at the property needing good speed internet for work and it is already down. Customer service were absolutely useless. No attempt to send an engineer despite being down the road, now after chasing and being on the call going round in circles for half an hour and numerous calls it will be more than 4 days before anyone can go out! That’s almost a week that we are paying for high speed internet which doesn’t work. I’ll cancel as soon as possible and advise people not to use.

Highly regret going with Opus the internet speed is very inconsistent and causes huge inconvenience. There’s only 2 people who are connected to the wifi in my household and we still have a lot of issues connecting to it. I’ve tried contacting them before about this issue they said they would ‘keep an eye on my account’ and try sort the issue out but I’ve had no luck being with opus. I’m highly considering just cancelling with them and going with a more reliable and faster broadband as it’s just not worth the headache. My property is literally opposite the 5G tower they’ve built across the street and I still have really bad internet. You may okay internet speeds on your phone sometimes but if you want to download games or play online you will suffer with high ping and very slow internet speeds.
Overall you pay for what you get as the saying goes you buy cheap you buy twice. It’s my own fault for going with Opus I thought I would give them a try as I spoke with a representative who came knocking on our door but I massively regret it as it’s not reliable at all and wouldn’t recommend them.

The guy who installed the router & all the equipment was a very helpful and seemed to sell opus extremely well. But like I've read here on other reviews, its cheap for a reason. It goes down quite alot compared to my old virgin account, if I do a speed test on my phone, most of the time the results are quite good (app.100down & 20up), but on my computer it's always different, I get thrown out of servers because the ping is too high & the speed isn't constant-sometimes its actually gone down to kps instead of mbs!
I stream online but haven't been able to since using opus so I'm seriously looking at going back to virgin, yes its more expensive but I didn't have to call them over service issues once!
Also although the engineer was great when fitting it they all seem to get you to write the review whilst they are still there stood watching what you write & don't leave until you have finished it! 😂. So all the reviews are generally positive-the problems start when they are long gone & the customer service seems like it's abroad, not in the UK like they say! I know alot about computers it feels like more than the people I call at customer service, they haven't once been any help when I've called. They just seem to know the obvious basic problems and they'll call you back...but don't ! I have the speed test result history on my computer which doesn't hold up to the claims we're told!

Very poor connection since I joined Opus. My internet constantly goes down. I work from home on a Friday and I have to reset my router multiple times during the day. I have done what they suggested and use a wired connection and it still happens. My phone frequently trips over to my neighbour's broadband when the signal on mine is so poor. I cannot wait until I am out of contract so I can move provider!

Great customer service by Opus Broadband, Micheal was the one to come fix my wifi he had no issues and fixed it for me in less than an hour he showed me how to fix any issues that may occur and was very polite.
