They didn’t make it obvious they have a 14 day return policy. And my understanding in the UK there should be a 30 days policy.

Item as described, but no communication after buying, delivery time etc

I found this company almost by accident after doing a search for a Leica accessory.My order was shipped almost instantly and arrived in England in 2 days which included passing through 2 lots of customs. Royal Mail delivered after 7 days but they are really hopeless.
I can highly recommend photospecialists and will use again .

Good prices , and customer service

They seem unable to send packages to the correct address. After I placed my order, they omitted my flat number from the shipping address, which caused the package to be returned. I contacted support and specifically asked them to include the flat number when resending it, but they sent it again without the flat number.

Customer support was slow to respond and unhelpful throughout the process. Once I requested a refund, they stopped responding altogether. Overall, a very frustrating experience.

DO NOT ORDER from them if you are in the UK! Their checkout system is clearly not built to process UK addresses correctly.

I entered my address perfectly, but their system scrambled it and wrote it down completely wrong on the shipping label. Because of their system's error, the item never reached me.

When this inevitably happens, you are left with two terrible options: waste your day travelling to a main Royal Mail depot to try and argue for your parcel, or wait around a month for the item to sit in a depot and eventually be shipped all the way back to the Netherlands before they will even consider helping you.

It was an incredibly frustrating experience and a complete waste of time. I absolutely do not recommend buying anything from this seller while you are based in the UK. Save yourself the headache and buy from other vendors!

Worst company ever. Ordered a light which they sent to the wrong address, without getting in touch it was sent back to NL. A refund was promised well after a month which still hasn’t arrived.

Helpful answers to a query and prompt delivery.

Delivery was never attempted and failed, then I received an email stating the item was being returned to them and I would get a refund so ordered from somewhere else. The item was then delivered 2 days later. Trying to return the item, have filled in contact form no response, have rang them and promised a returns authorisation with prepaid postage, never received this. Next stop seems to be credit card company to get a refund as they don’t do anything at all!

Buy from somewhere else where else and save yourself the hassle of dealing with them

Photospecialist is a UK front-end of the dutch photography juggernaut Kamera Express so your order is actually fulfilled and sent from the Netherlands.

The Pro:
- Their products are often cheaper in price than UK retailers because of their pan-european scale.
- You can actually call them up and talk to another human being.

The Con:
- Shipping takes longer and (for expensive lenses) subject to higher transit risks.
- No "in-person" experience.

As long as you are fully aware of what you are sacrificing in order to obtain the lower price, from my personal perspective, I think it's worth it.

Ordered a camera bag and it took so long to arrive, there was no expedited delivery available. Customer service was responsive and helpful tracking it down though.

The bag arrived badly scuffed, overall quite a disappointing experience.

I got a great deal for the limited edition Instax Mini Evo in Gentle Rose in this shop. Although it’s overseas (NL), it only took 4 days to arrive. It was neatly packaged too so it’s safe and seamless to buy stuff here. Thank you team!

an email reply would be nice too as I emailed days ago about the warranty info.

All went well apart from a small point: the expected tracking link wasn't provided in any of the emails received but when I inquired 4 days after the order it was then provided. This hadn't caused a delay in the delivery, the item was actually delivered later on the same day as the tracking information was provided.

The item was as described, well packaged and arrived quickly (given I'm in the UK). Overall I'm very pleased. I'm a return customer and trust them.

Good value and the lens was in good condition, but lens did not have original box, lens hood, lens bag etc which was disappointing.
