This company is basically a bunch of scammers who collect money upfront. They provide quote £700 for a job that eventually cost £80. After taking my deposit, they did not turn up. For over a month ,their Director, said that he was contacting the account's department for a refund. I spoke calmly and politely each time. He blocked my number. With so many bad reviews I wonder how they are still allowed to trade. I will be contacting trading standards.

I recently used Plumforcedirect Company to address a leaking dishwasher, and it has been a costly and frustrating experience. The plumber who initially visited claimed the leak was due to a blocked pipe and charged £540 to unblock it. However, within two weeks, the leak returned, and despite two additional visits from their plumber, the issue was still not resolved.

Out of desperation, I contacted another plumbing company, who identified and fixed the problem properly for £460. I provided Plumforcedirect company with a video and a report from the other plumber, showing that their initial diagnosis was incorrect. When I requested a refund or compensation for their ineffective service, they refused, claiming there was “no proof” despite the documentation I provided.

This company not only failed to fix the problem but also refused to take accountability. I would not recommend them to anyone looking for reliable plumbing services.

Do not use this Company. I had simple leak under the kitchen sink and I just needed a pipe replacing. I waited for two days for someone to come out and in the end I had to go to another company. Their customer service is dreadful. I spoke to Scott and when I raised my complaint with him he hung up the call on me! Do not use this company! They inflate prices once they are at your property and leave you hanging for small jobs! I just wish I read the reviews before contacting them.

These people are scammers!!
On the 16th of September I contacted Plumforce Direct to ask for prices regarding my boiler not heating water. Within fifteen minutes engineer (Chris Parkin) was at my door with no tools that I could see. After a chat with his boss Scott (on my balcony to make sure I wasn't hearing) reported that there was a major fault with the boiler and quoted £480. When I said I was going to have a second opinion on that, Scott said he'd do the most urgent jobs for £300+vat giving me a free service and one year warranty on the job done. He wanted to be paid up front. I later found out from an honest plamber that there was low water pressure and the piece that needed changing costed £45. Parkin didn't change anything, didn't do the servicing and spent around half hour on the boiler, then he left without writing on my log book.Two day later the boiler was leaking badly and I had no hot water again. I called Plumbforce Direct on 02039128639 repeatedly to arrange an emergency call out, but only managed to have a confirmation that someone was coming on Saturday 21st September between 9 and 11. An engineer did not come to my property despite my waiting all day and making many calls to the boss Scott at Plumbforce Direct till they stopped answering my calls as they recognized my number. I have reported them to Action Fraud and I encourage all those that have been scammed by these people to report them so that they can be stopped.

This company cheated me on gas leak investigation by giving me a £6000 quotation to fit a new gas line which I didn't really need , another gas safe engineer fixed a loose connection on the back of my gas hob costing under £70 , plumbforce charged me £182 , I was told this payment was to be deducted from the total cost , I feel like I been ripped off by this plumbing firm

I was pressured to pay half of the fee up front to order a new boiler plate and book in a repair - the technician was literally in my hallway as I made the payment.
After this, Plumbforce didn't contact me or reply to my emails. Eventually they told me my job had expired and I wasn't owed a refund. Then they started ignoring my calls and emails. I had a quick search and realised they are doing this across the country, so I've reported them to Action Fraud and my bank.

These people charged me half the amount to fix my boiler for part replacement. They never came back and no refund. USE THIS COMPANY ON YOUR OWN RISK.

Dont use this company. Overpriced and use pressure tactics to get you to pay up front. Work exaggerated to boost price

This is the worst company ever. An engineer came round to look at a blocked drain and didn't even look in the manhole. They told us it was all fixed and we paid. When they left we realised the job was not done and the drain was still blocked. They refused to give our money back. Eventually after agreeing to refund the money in writing they still didn't. I opened a claim in the small claims court and they still didn't pay our money back and now I have sent a county court judgement and they still have not refunded the money. Avoid them at all cost. Not sure how they are still operating.

The worst experience ever!
I called and they were very eager and quick to get an appointment booked in and given me a quote for the job.

Man comes out and refused to check because he “knows for sure “ without actually checking and quotes me for a bigger job .

Then charges me double the amount saying I have to pay now and they will refund me the difference.
When trying to arrange the refund of difference the man on the phone just keeps putting the phone down on me after knowing I’m the one calling .

All their website review are fake because it is monitored, they don’t allow all their customers leave a feedback and negative ones are removed .

Do not ever go to this company. The employees are incompetent and only interested in scamming people. I contacted them about a problem with my boiler. They claimed it needed a deep cleaning because it was clogged and there was a motor malfunction. They tried to make me pay £350 for the repair. However, I managed to fix it myself using a YouTube tutorial in less than 10 minutes.

They sent a plumber out, and he just tried to make up huge numbers to charge. I agreed on some work and paid 50% and the plumber needed to come back with another part to finish the job. We had to push so hard to get them plumber back. They eventually did the work and then hadn't fixed the fault. They now wont pay a refund and are ignoring calls

Plumbforce told me someone could come around today for an emergency toilet repair. They then called me later in the day, saying they could only come tomorrow as the plumber had to stay on another job. I agreed; by then I couldn't get anyone to come round anyway. The guy came and supposedly did the repair however, less than 3 days later the same issue was occurring where my toilet was flooding my bathroom and downstairs. I got someone else in to have a look and was told that it was highly unlikely any work was done. I requested Plumbforce share some photos of the work as I didn't want to presume however, they said they didn't have any and changed their story multiple times when talking to them and claimed 'I caught them off guard'. They charged a fortune and will not refund me for the supposed repair. Avoid at all costs.

ABSOLUTELY HORRENDOUS SERVICE....DO NOT USE!!!

Were called out in December 2023 to fix a boiler issue.
They turned up a day late - no refund as mentioned on their website
They charged a huge amount and didn't actually fix the issue
Told me it was something else which it wasn't
Said they would send someone back round and never did
Incredibly bad customer service especially from Scott Hall who is their operations manager who constantly didn't get back to me, PUT THE PHONE DOWN ON ME and dodged issues of his and their company incompetence
They eventually agreed to a refund which I was told many times would come through, but never did and when I called I've had the phone down on me or told that I was going to be called back and they didn't. I kept on and on and on and on calling them and then emailing them and six months later I am still waiting for a refund.

Told a price 79 pounds plus parts plumber arrived one hour late showed what needed doing the hot water feed to washing machine leaking and needed to be capped . Plumber went to his van and came back with bill for 245+ vat I phoned the office and was given a story that the extra charge was they had to guarantee the repair this company should be blacklist by all.

Needed a gas test, amazing communication, easy payment system. Super efficient engineer, polite knew his trade. Had a small issue with the gas test but all sorted super quick. Thanks Plumbforce.

Absolute scammers, avoid at all costs

We needed help with a blocked sink in our kitchen in South East London and discovered Plumb Force Direct.

We contacted them directly, and confirmed with a man on the phone that a blocked sink would be £49 + VAT and they would have an engineer call out that day. They did not show up for our original appointment and when we followed up, they apologised and blamed it on their scheduling system.

When they arrived on the second appointment, the engineer just arrived with a plunger and after three attempts said it would need to be a bigger job. Naturally we assumed this would be resolved as it’s a straight forward issue, but they said it would be £279 to do it properly, but the engineer said he’d do it for a flat £200 with his own company. Already this didn’t seem very professional, but when they charged our card they took £94.80, rather than the price stated on the phone £49 + VAT.

I rang the company ass soon as we realised, and the man I had spoken to previously asked if I had provided a ‘Discount Code’ on the call which would make the charge £49 + VAT. I reminded him that he stated this price to me when I originally asked, and quite promptly he said he would listen back to the original call and check and let me know if that price had been stated (Which is all over the website as a flat fee).

All in all, don’t go near or waste your time/money.

Please do not use. Over charged, didn’t do what was charged for, money just comes off your card that is given to secure the booking in good faith. shocking dismissal of complaint. Please look elsewhere.

A SCAM! The company have stolen for me ! I am reporting them to the police fraud team on Monday.

similar experience to all of these reviews. I didn't read the reviews as I has a leek and used call them in an emergency.

If anyone has a video footage to share, this would be helpful.
