Dont fall for this company they are scam just try to take mkney from you and havent do anything

One star review, because negative stars or zero rating isn't possible. They said they'd send a plumber to fix broken hot water system. Didn't on day one, said they would on day three, didn't. Didn't even call me to say so, I had to chase. Plumber calls me directly to say 'nobody available until day four.' I complained politely but firmly, he proceeds to swear and threaten me. Refused to take the job, now company refusing to answer my calls. Absolutely disgusting. If only I'd read the reviews on here first I wouldn't have bothered

The work was completed efficiently and very neatly and the boiler room was clean and tidy after the visit

Plumber showed up on wrong day (Thursday) and said they would return. 4 days of calling company and no show! Terrible. Please avoid.

I wouldnt go anywhere near this company
Had a dripping overflow pipe, someone came out, late, and advised changing a valve for £400.
Issue not resolved and when they did they would come back out they didn't turn up on 3 occasions. I have now taken them to court for a refund

Called them for blocked sink.offered price of 49.99 first visit claiming that 80%of blockages is cleared within this price.came and looked at it nd said that work is sadly of 20% nd demanded £295 .in the end agreed on £200 and confirmed the work has 60 days warranty.called them again after 14 days and on arrival demanded more money and totally refuted the warranty.rang office again and they said the warranty is valid but they refused .they are cheat.liars.best option is first video their work and also tape their conversations.quality of their work speaks by itself when within 2 weeks it blocked again.i Wii not use them for any work and wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.saeed

Didnt turn up, after calling them numerous times and being told the engineer would call me back, he didnt, they scheduled for 10am to 12 noon, having got no updates by 4pm I called someone else. I really wouldnt bother with them.

Tried to scam me out of £900 plus vat. Condemned my 2 year old boiler said that it was installed incorrectly, frightened my tenant, told her not to shower or to have heating on.
Plumber said it needed to have new condensing unit, pipes were corroded blabla. They got £379 out of me.
I realised it was a scam minutes after I gave my card details and spent 2 hours (mostly on hold) to NatWest who wouldn't stop the payment.
Then I saw the reviews on trust pilot and got another plumber.
Nothing wrong with boiler. Annual gas safety cert issued for £60.
It disgusts me that plumbforcedirect are being constantly reported and the police and fraud investigators have done nothing.
This is a very sophisticated long term scam.
Sylvie and Scott in the office sound very pleasant and professional.
They said they'd refund me when I said I didn't want to go ahead with repairs.
He whatsapped me a fake receipt that he'd returned my money when I kept ringing. Now they've stopped answering my calls and emails.
Please report them. I'm now dealing with Police Scotland as obtained the owners address in Dunfermline.

These guys are scammers. Tried to over charge me for a call out and then said I should get rid of my 3 year old Worcester boiler because it was bad quality. Encouraged me to replace it with a Baxi boiler (a worse quality one) for £3000 and encouraged me to make a decision on the spot. They said that they could fix it for £600 plus VAT but it wasn't worth it because the boiler was no longer being made or sold because it is such bad quality (this was not true after a quick Google).

Had someone different come and take a look and they fixed it for £150.

They are scammers and they are trying to take advantage.

My Ideal combination boiler was showing L2 fault so stupidly called this company who I now realise are total
scumbags.The young engineer looked at the boiler and basically condemned it, phoned his boss who between them came up with two different prices for a new boiler either £2400 or £2800. Fortunately I wasn’t desperate to make a decision. However after speaking to a friend later that evening they arranged for their gas plumber to take a look the following morning. He came and after a few minutes discovered there was an issue with the gas pipe on the meter. He called Cadent who came straight away and rectified the fault. There is now a perfect working boiler. So basically they are just out to con people big time, they don’t lose anything after all as charging people the £60/call out charge by card payment they are in a win win situation. I really don’t understand why they are allowed to trade. What worries me is the tactics they would use on elderly or vulnerable people, The authorities should seriously investigate !!

I’ve been advised their actions are criminal and the more people who report them the more likely that they will be investigated and prosecuted **

I had a similar terrible experience to many other reviewers. ‘Marcel’ attended my broken boiler, told me the gas valve had gone and it was essentially beyond repair. He convinced me to pay a £1590 deposit for him to install a new boiler the next day. It was stupid of me to fall for it but I was home alone with a baby in the coldest week of the year and was desperate. After he left I saw the reviews and my heart sank. I called another engineer from a reputable company who came and fixed the boiler quickly with no parts required. He said the only issue was a blocked condensate pipe, which was easily fixed by unblocking. He confirmed that if the gas valve had gone the boiler wouldn’t even fire up. So everything 'Marcel' told me was a lie.

I called Plumbforce that evening to cancel the new boiler installation and was told the deposit was non-refundable (another lie). After bringing up the mandatory 14-day cooling off period for service contracts they agreed to refund me the deposit minus a cancellation fee, which I accepted. Two months on and still no refund, despite countless calls and emails. I have spoken to ‘Scott’ and ‘Sylvia’ many times, who both sound very reasonable on the phone but have a never ending list of excuses and evasion tactics. Scott would tell me that the refund had already been processed or there was an unknown delay. He would leave me on hold, hang up on me, and even blocked my number. They of course never respond to emails or give anything in writing.

Our boiler has been working fine since it was fixed two months ago.

Long story short- avoid this company like the plague if you’re smart enough to read the reviews beforehand. If not, like me, then please report them.

Wasted 7 hours waiting for plumbers to come - no phone call from them - nothing .
Promised to reimburse some of the exhorbitant fee charged but again - nothing .
Plumbers were fair enough and nice but sub contracted to a firm with poor management skills . Not fair on them really to have this on them . Proof of the pudding is would I use them again - never in a million years .

HORRIBLE AVOID
We tried to book a boiler maintenance appointment four times, the guy never showed up despite us rescheduling every time. They also kept hanging up on us when we were calling to get an update on their whereabouts. They are unprofessional, time wasters and plainly rude - i have reported them to the relevant trade unions and associations.

DO NOT USE - I HAVE REPORTED TO TRADING STANDARDS. I would give them negative stars if I could. This company also goes under Plumbforce Direct. They are aggressive, confrontational, liars and should not be in business. I have also reported them to trading standards and the gas register company. There is a man there called Scott, scottish accent, and he is a very unpleasant man who employs some very dubious people to work with him. They do not do the correct work. Please do not go anywhere near them.

Avoid Avoid Avoid charged nearly £400 for 15 mins work and £30 part.Left shower cubicle in a horrendous state kept saying i needed more work done all the time when the next plumber i got in to correct Plumbforce work said they were trying to get more money from me. Avoid them at all costs the will rip you off

My boiler stopped working so I called Plumbforce Direct to come and have a look at it. After inspecting it they told me I would need a replacement censor which was expensive for which they quoted £500 + VAT and asked me to pay £300 upfront. They were due back the next day at midday but ended up coming at 6pm, and once they did I noticed the part that needed changing was a piece of plastic which cost less than £12.

This didn't fix my boiler so they said I needed a new one which was quoted at £2,500. As I didn't trust them I got another boiler engineer to come in and they fixed it in a few minutes for £50.

Everything about dealing with them was a nightmare and fraudulent. Avoid this company at all costs, they're just looking to rip you off.

They actually kept hanging up the phone when I tried calling to cancel - I'm genuinely shocked. Luckily they didn't provide me a service. They're obviously doing things very wrong - it's only a matter of time before they close down having read these reviews.

AVOID this company! We regret we hadn't checked these reviews before booking them in for fixing our heating. A plumber came to our flat and did the diagnostics I.e. - cleaning and replacement of a minor part needed to be done. He said the company would send us a quote. They did and asked for £300 to be paid upfront which we did. The plumber never showed up after that. We called the company multiple times and spoke with Sylvie, Stuart and Scott - they all made excuses why they couldn't reach the plumber on phone/ that he will show up at some day at some point... he never has. They blocked our numbers eventually. Absolute scammers, ripped us off £300, no work done. Further legal steps will be taken against them - Trading Standards, Small Money Claims, will allert people on Social and in local communities groups about these scammers..

Timewasters!
Called on Sat to unblock a sink. They booked me only for Sunday. Then I had a no show and wasted my time. Made lots of calls, have been transferred multiple times and told there is nobody available on Sunday.

Contacted them and a very helpful plumber came the same afternoon. Said he would be back the following day which did not happen. After several phone calls we were told an email had been sent. It hadn’t.They then started to talk about ridiculous prices to sort the leak. Disgusted with service. Would suggest you don’t use.
