A very helpfull and relaxed conversation when setting up the insurance and also also getting another quote for another vehicle competitive pricing as well been with them for many years and always had the same experience. Very pleasant and chatty staff all calls are UK Based (Elaine was my point of contact on the day ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Unfortunately I had to cancel my insurance for two cars after many years with Police Mutual but another well known company offered equal benefits at a significant lower cost. Sue Stott handled the cancellation with excellent consideration and because of her I am retaining my home insurance, again because of her I will return next year for a quote. Don't lose her professionalism.

I had to update email details to motor & house insurance. One quick phone call sorted it, with the professional security questions you would expect. Her proffesionalism and knowledge about my naivety in terms of sorting my insurance was excellent. She has explain everything to me without using jargon words. My husband was always the one sorting my insurance but since his Dementia, I for one have to sort everything. Sue is well versed and even reduces my monthly contributions. I spoke with Sue this morning to make a change to my policy.
Sue was extremely helpful and highly professional in handling an amendment to my current policy.

Watch out - extra fees on renewal quote. When asked if I could avoid the arrangement fee was told not possible. Strange that because according to the Financial Service Authority it states: Price Disclosure: While the fee doesn't always have to be itemized separately, it must be included in the total quoted price. Hiding mandatory fees can be seen as a "misleading omission" under fair trading regulations. Police Mutual what are your reasons for not including unavoidable admin fees in your total quote?

After getting through security questions was then told my name was not on as a nominee and they would not tell me anything. Only wanted to if my wife was definitely insured and when the policy would arrive. Very frustrating.

So easy to obtain a great quote, easier and better than comparison websites

Additionally, Paul offered to provide a quote for vehicle insurance at the new address. This was a bonus and will be helpful in the long term too.

I had left my renewal to the last minute but Sue Stott was friendly and helpful and managed to negotiate a price reduction for me as it had shot up, not least because I have a new car.
Lesson learnt, compare prices earlier to avoid panic, really wanted to stay with police mutual as nightmare about 4 years when I went to another insurance, well known name but didn't realise online only. NO customer service at all unlike Police mutual, Sue offered excellent customer service.
