Pot clays are a great pottery suppler and a really friendly bunch too. They’re helped me enormously with setting up my studio, and spent lots of time helping me choose my equipment. I’ve also attended their factory tour and their clay production system is incredible. A real proper family run company, that you can trust and rely on 😊

Super fast delivery of my glaze…I could not believe just how well it was packaged for transit via DHL. The pot was sellotaped around the lid. Placed inside a sturdy plastic bag seced tightly with an elastic band. This was then in a bubble wrap jacket, then a thick wrapping of brown paper inside a box. Then inside a DHL PLASTIC BAG! Thank you so much to potclays packing department top notch job well done!

I had a problem with payment on the web site so had to telephone my order through. The young lady was very courteous and efficient and my order arrived within two days. Great service well done.

Material was in stock and available at Potclays though not everywhere else, and arrived within two days or my ordering it. Great service.

A large new kiln was delivered yesterday, I was so thrilled as I have been saving up for this for a long time, it being my retirement present to myself. Unfortunately though, a few insulation bricks inside were badly damaged. I was so upset and disappointed.
Bev handled this situation extremely well. I sent a number of emails which must have been annoying, but I kept thinking of other to say. Bev even communicated with me hours after closing time - beyond the call of duty.
To my amazement two strong you g men, Tom and Matt, came from Stoke on Trent to my home in Quorn (2 hour journey each way). They worked several hours to replace the broken bricks. On top of that Tom showed me how to program the controller and actually put in four firing programs for me.
Altogether this is a brilliant service. I am extremely happy now, and would strongly recommend Potclays to anyone, for here is an outstandingly dependable and long standing business.

I recently had a problem with the website in that it wouldn’t accept payment. I called customer service where I was informed there was a problem with the website that was being sorted. They offered to process my order over the phone which worked well.
