My initial delivery date was brought forward by 10 days! Bonus! Patrick the driver did a cracking job especially as he was on his own and had about 3 drops before me and more to do after!
I haven’t put it together as yet but it all seems a decent quality on unloading!

Carl was superb from arrival to departure. Very helpful with unloading, identifying the parts and triple checking all was present and correct.

I am extremely disappointed with the insulated garden building I purchased from Project Timber. Given the amount of money spent, I expected a new building that was properly manufactured, checked and prepared for installation. Instead, I had to deal with numerous quality-control and delivery issues.

The pre-drilled keyhole in the door was significantly misaligned, meaning the lock could not be fitted correctly. I had to drill another hole myself, and the lock still could not simply overhang because it caught on the wooden locking wedge. One board arrived damaged and appeared to have been filled during production, while there were also chips, damaged areas and sawdust sealed behind some panels.

The boards had been fitted edge-to-edge before delivery, leaving insufficient access to secure them properly during assembly. I had to carefully remove all boards from each panel for each individual board, cut and refit them, turning what should have been around one day's work into more than two days of unnecessary labour.

There was also a missing roof beam, and the rubber roof was not delivered with the building. Despite being told it might arrive that day or the following day, it was delayed further. I had to buy additional materials at my own expense to protect the building from possible rain.

Customer service initially said they could not replace the faulty door and suggested that the lock overhanging was normal. After further complaints, they eventually agreed to provide an undrilled replacement door and two missing internal handles. However, they could not supply the filler that had also been discussed, and they refused to offer any financial compensation despite the extra work, delays and costs I incurred.

Overall, the experience involved poor manufacturing, missing parts, delayed deliveries, extra expense and a considerable amount of corrective work that should never have been necessary. Although replacement parts were eventually arranged, this does not make up for the inconvenience or the unacceptable condition in which the building arrived. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company.

It's 12 months now that the summerhouse has been in the garden still using it on a regular basis and love it, my experience with this summerhouse is always get a pressure treated one and never get styrene windows get the tuffened glass windows it pays long term

I bought my Cedar wood Garden Office in October 2024
There were a few difficulties with delivery dates but when it was delivered the service was exceptional.
I live 198 miles away yet they still returned promptly to seal round the door that had opened due to settlement.
A couple of months ago for some unknown reason the inner pane of the end double glazing unit shattered. I contacted customer services who were extremely patient and exceptionally helpful.
I collected the panel as I was almost passing on my way to Wetherby. They held it several weeks for me to do this.
Nicole and Zoe of customer sevices went above and beyond that which the company were obliged to. The glazing units were out of warranty and the reason for a pane shattering was not their fault.
I cannot reccomend them enough.

I recently took delivery of a shed from Project Timber, unfortunately I discovered some parts missing.

I contacted the Customer Care Team, Nichole responded quickly and efficiently to resolve my problem - Fantastic Customer Service well done Nichola.

A measure of a good company is how it deals with issues as they arise - Well Done

The delivery went well and assembling the Garden Office was fairly straightforward. We checked with the company that, as its advert claimed, the cladding was pressure-treated and they confirmed this.
Roll on six months and on every side of the building, the tongue-and-groove cladding has warped and separated, giving large gaps.
On contacting the company, they said that it was our fault because we hadn't painted or treated the wood. (We had but not for several weeks owing to the weather.) We pointed out that ProjectTimber uses the tongue-and-groove cladding being pressure-treated as a selling point but the company refuses to engage with us. It refuses to acknowledge that its pressure-treatment either wasn't done or is wholly inadequate. In short, the customer service is non-existent; the company has no interest in the customer or the product beyond the point of sale; the quality of the wood used, and any 'pressure-treatment' they may or may not give the wood, is extremely poor.
I have since heard many similar stories from other victims of ProjectTimber's sharp practice - I just wish I'd known about this company's poor reputatuion before buying. At least if you're reading this, you have the opportunity not to make the same mistake. Shop elsewhere! There are plenty of quality, reliable alternatives.
