It was very easy to order the garden room and for it to be delivered but the rest has been extremely poor.
The product was delivered with 9 faulty, poorly made panels. The quality control was non-existent and the items should not have been loaded on the truck, let alone delivered.
It has since been 7 working days and I am still awaiting Project Timer to collect my product and refund my money,
Very very poor.

You can get these kinds of sheds from a few places. As a national company they use local logistics so I can see why, as there would be with many companies, some delivery issues. The point is that they were very nice to deal with, responded professionally, and helped me out months later with an issue. This is the kind of business you want to deal with. The staff seem well invested also (thanks Nicole).

Unfortunately, a disappointing experience.

I purchased the shed around 12 months ago, admittedly a little prematurely, and have only recently completed the installation. When fitting the roof, I discovered that the felt supplied was not long enough to provide the correct coverage and overlap. In addition, the galvanised clout nails supplied were also too short for the job.

I contacted the company and explained the situation, hoping they would simply supply the correct felt and fixings. However, they declined to help because the shed had been purchased over a year ago.

I appreciate that some time has passed since the purchase, but these are supplied components that were not suitable to complete the shed correctly. I don’t believe the length of time changes that.

For the sake of around £30 worth of materials, this could have been resolved very easily and left me as a satisfied customer. Instead, it’s left a disappointing impression.

Ultimately, good customer service is about how you deal with problems when they arise, and unfortunately on this occasion I don’t feel the company got it right.

Delivery was on time driver was amazing and really helpful.

Easy to find what I wanted, straightforward ordering process. Communication on delivery was really good and Patrick the delivery driver was superb - so helpful and lovely to talk to!

Very disappointed with quality.Roof timbers were so weak,screws would split the wood.
Perspex windows were so thin the wind could blow them in.Catches and hinges very weak.Materials were barely fit for purpose due to under engineering/cost cutting.

None of the panels match, timber of very poor quality and even light rain soaked THROUGH the timber ,all iron mongery rusted within a month , roofing felt extremely poor quality and leaks like a sieve .
I have had to spend a further £500 to make it weather proof myself
Sadly TIGER SHEDS did not delivery to my area , be warned this is a horrible company to deal with and wont even acknowledge your previous phone calls **************I repeat************

Caveat Emptor - “Buyer Beware”

I have to admit to have been suckered by the incredible website and all that this Company appeared to offer. After a long pause and a lot of looking I took the plunge.

I have sussed out why they are called Project Timber.

It is obviously that you buy a unit from them, in my case a 12 x 8 workshop and the Project then becomes yours, to fix everything that is wrong with its construction.- Let me list (this is probably not a full list).

Timber - Cheap and Flimsy
Timber - Trim on cloaking stripes bent well out of straight and some actually broken
Timber - the doors look like they have been made out of scrap wood, the double doors don’t even match
Accessories - Metal roofing strut brace clips - look like they have been ripped from a coke can. Not even the holes are straight.
Roofing felt - The standard one is rubbish so thin it is not worth using.
Panel Fit - There are gaps all over the place
Windows “Free double glazing” you have to strengthen the frame to which they fit or else they bend every time you open the windows.

Does the company care -

No - I wrote a very polite detailed complaint with a picture file of issues, hoping for someone to acknowledge the faults and at least make an excuse such as, our Quality Control will be looked into, our DEI hire blind person built it, It isn't our!! etc or at least something congruent.

First question was - Why didn’t you send it back !!-

Most of these issues you don’t find until you are building it.

Second question - What do you think you would expect as a fair settlement.

Me - I am not taking it all apart again, so a £300 refund was requested to account for all of the above and my time and money thus far to fix the poor quality workmanship.

Not once did I receive an apology from anyone relevant or an acceptance of poor workmanship on their behalf.

I kept chasing -
£100 is all we will give you as a settlement they said.

Me being by now fded up with them and wanting to move on thought I’d meet in the middle.

£200 I said as a fair and final settlement

No - was the answer, basically £100.00 take it or leave it.

I am really annoyed with myself for allowing myself to be duped by their advertisement.

I can’t tell anyone what to buy, or not to buy - All I can do is let people know that PT’s products are in this case at least rubbish, and their after-sales is dire.

Don’t be conned there are far better sheds and summerhouses out there.
