Multimeter supplied with flat battery.
I am pleased with the Sealey Digital Multimeter that I bought from Rapid Electronics. The price of the product was reasonable, the transaction smooth and the delivery was very quick.
However, the 9v battery supplied and installed in the multimeter I received, was flat and past its expiry date. I had to buy a replacement battery immediately. This is a
nuisance that I did not expect and my reason for giving only 2 stars.
I have complained to Rapid Electronics and they are passing my complaint to Sealey.

BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE
13th Apr @11:00hrs I ordered a Stanley 179206 Rolling Workshop box, for £96 inc P&P. I duly received an order confirmation, which stated that there was 4 of these items in stock, and my item would be dispatched in 2 working days. So far, so good.
Then 13th Apr 15:02hrs I received an email stating that this item was now discontinued and my order would be cancelled and I would be getting a refund.
Surely with 4 items being in stock, my order would have been secure. Or was it the cost of P&P that made the sale unavailable. Either way it's very poor business practice, at least a phone call explaining the situation would have been appropriate.
It could have been a lot worst, I was going to place a much larger order today. I just don't use unreliable suppliers.
