its fantastic to have it delivered to my door. There wasn't any recipe suggestions in my last box which I always look forward to.

Customer service is frustrating as there is no response via email and the telephone wait time is long. I spoke to a co-owner who was very rude and terminated the chat mid-sentence while trying to convince me that the produce I had identified as rotten was not actually spoiled. He was unhelpful, especially when I voiced a complaint about a product. Everything seemed fine until I raised my concern. I have been a customer for at least 7 years or more, but I closed my account today because of the awful response I received after my first complaint. I received adequate assistance from an older lady over the phone, who refunded me for the spoiled goods that had been thrown away.

I have had several deliveries of fruit, veg and eggs from Riverford. Impressed with the quality and freshness of the produce and the ease of delivery.

My experience over the first 6 weeks of being a Riverford customer has been excellent. Very easy to order and amend via the app; food has been great quality and even the packaging and delivery drivers have been great. Would highly recommend.

Excellent quality and great service

We have had a couple of veg boxes. sourdough and fruit so far and the quality and freshness is superb. The deliveries are early in the morning and ordering online is easy and you don't have a faff of having to have regular orders which is great. The number of times I have signed up for something and then had the next week or months subscription though without me being ready for it is infuriating - but not so with Riverford.

Badly run company

Often items are missing from my order when delivered and a few times items are not fresh and or out of date.

I paid £15 for a recipe box which 2 of the items where out of date. Contacted customer service for them to issue me £5 refund

Deliveries are on time. I can change my order easily, add, swap or take off items so get exactly what I want at the time. I can pause an order if I’m going on holiday for example. I am happy with the quality and taste of the food, and so pleased I can obtain, natural, quality healthy food. I give my packaging back to be reused which helps the environment.I feel its so important to support our farmers. Some food is a little more expensive than supermarket food, but I'd rather have real food and a smaller portion of meat and bulk it out with veg/beans/lentils etc.

It is a delight to find a beautifully packed box full of fresh organic vegetables on the doorstep every Thursday morning. The fact that the packaging is reusable or recyclable is a bonus. Added information and recipes enhance the whole experience.

From ordering to delivery Riverford are great. Customer service is also very good. Fruit and veg are fresh and delicious.

Riverford is as great, as always. After a short break from deliveries, I am very pleased to be back in the Riverford fold!
The produce is always fresh and tasty and I love going back to using seasonal foods. There is great flexibility in changing your box, if needed, and lots of great variety of extra items you can also add to your weekly shop.
I love the weekly notes from Guy and the seasonal recipes too.
Delivery is outstanding too.

Brilliant service from start to finish. Beautiful fresh produce, the app is great (and I am trying to minimise app use, but this one is really helpful and easy to use). Delicious fresh vegetables, the celery, carrots, real stand out items this week. Highly recommend.

This is my 3rd week and so far I've loved my deliveries. The food is excellent quality, with a wide variety of fruits and vegetables, chilled products and meat as well as some store cupboard staples. The delivery is always on time and carefully stored if I'm not at home to receive it. Im thrilled. Most of my weekly shop is now coming from Riverford. Its organic, ethical and good quality.

Very happy with the fruit and veg box, good quality and delivery is efficient

The produce is organic so no forever chemicals or horrible pesticides and it tastes great. The fact you get different stuff each time means you have to creative cooking meals. I got the Cooking with a veg box book, not looked through it much yet as only had it a few days but I think it will help with making my meals more varied. But the best thing is it’s organic like I’ve already said.

The website is clear on what to expect in each veg/fruit box, inc quantities. Delivered on time in recyclable/compostable packaging that Riverford are happy to take back. The fruit and veg is fresh, tasty and lasts well.
