Excellent produce, timely deliveries, great communication and service!

When you hear your wife exclaim "I can't believe I am getting so excited about veg!" you know things are right. The taste of what we have received is genuinely superb, the ordering process is flawless and we know we are helping to support British producers rather than adding to the airmiles racked up by supermarket beans from Africa, for example, and all the packaging is recycled. We have had one small quality issue which was resolved immediately, so we remain delighted with our decision to buy from Riverford.

Fruit and veg is great quality and so tasty! Delivery is always prompt. I love that all packaging is compostable/recyclable and boxes are reused.

i've a delivery every three weeks. Still not entirely sure how to change a product in the box I may not like. Not very clear instructions on this. BUT could be because I am elderly and don't understand the process.

Gorgeous organic fruit and veg. The app is very easy to use, delivery is great and all packaging is fully compostable! Would highly recommend for anyone who wants high quality, earth friendly produce in their lives.

its fantastic to have it delivered to my door. There wasn't any recipe suggestions in my last box which I always look forward to.

Customer service is frustrating as there is no response via email and the telephone wait time is long. I spoke to a co-owner who was very rude and terminated the chat mid-sentence while trying to convince me that the produce I had identified as rotten was not actually spoiled. He was unhelpful, especially when I voiced a complaint about a product. Everything seemed fine until I raised my concern. I have been a customer for at least 7 years or more, but I closed my account today because of the awful response I received after my first complaint. I received adequate assistance from an older lady over the phone, who refunded me for the spoiled goods that had been thrown away.

I have had several deliveries of fruit, veg and eggs from Riverford. Impressed with the quality and freshness of the produce and the ease of delivery.

My experience over the first 6 weeks of being a Riverford customer has been excellent. Very easy to order and amend via the app; food has been great quality and even the packaging and delivery drivers have been great. Would highly recommend.

Excellent quality and great service

We have had a couple of veg boxes. sourdough and fruit so far and the quality and freshness is superb. The deliveries are early in the morning and ordering online is easy and you don't have a faff of having to have regular orders which is great. The number of times I have signed up for something and then had the next week or months subscription though without me being ready for it is infuriating - but not so with Riverford.

Badly run company

Often items are missing from my order when delivered and a few times items are not fresh and or out of date.

I paid £15 for a recipe box which 2 of the items where out of date. Contacted customer service for them to issue me £5 refund

Deliveries are on time. I can change my order easily, add, swap or take off items so get exactly what I want at the time. I can pause an order if I’m going on holiday for example. I am happy with the quality and taste of the food, and so pleased I can obtain, natural, quality healthy food. I give my packaging back to be reused which helps the environment.I feel its so important to support our farmers. Some food is a little more expensive than supermarket food, but I'd rather have real food and a smaller portion of meat and bulk it out with veg/beans/lentils etc.

It is a delight to find a beautifully packed box full of fresh organic vegetables on the doorstep every Thursday morning. The fact that the packaging is reusable or recyclable is a bonus. Added information and recipes enhance the whole experience.
