It’s brought the joy back into cooking , lovely fresh tasty fruit & veg . The whole family have definitely noticed a difference. Great to have the cook books especially that they are seasonal. The very handy booklets with each veggie box , giving you tips on how to cook & what herbs & spices complement them. We have actually saved money & no wasted food which is definitely a good thing all round

Placed an order for the first time in a while (just hadn’t used them for a while). I was supposed to get a free ‘veg and table’ book however it didn’t arrive.

Having had an issue I found you can’t get through to them. Phone just goes to extended wait and advises to use live chat.

Live chat says wait of near 10 minutes, but you wait and can’t get through.

And problems and issues and you are on your own. It never used to be like this.

Great quality & variety of veg & fruit, with excellent value jumbo bags of apples during the glut too. Boxes are good value but it’s also very easy to go ‘à la carte’ if you want to make your own choices. Customer service is outstanding - any errors are corrected or credited immediately.

Delicious, fresh, local produce delivered from the fields to your door. I use my Thermomix and use up what's in season, adapting Riverford's delicious recipes. Fruits need to be used same day sometimes, so check your delivery immediately. Nothing has preservatives. Lots needs washing. But it's all British and organic and supports our farmers x

The quality is excellent and, the website is easy to use. I am delighted I started to use Riverford. I love that I can read about where my products come from and that all packaging is collected from me at the next week delivery. The fruit and vegetables do seem to last longer as well. I recommended this to my sister and she is now a customer and equally happy.

Having the fresh organic veg some of which I’ve never had before is getting me to check out new recipes that I’ve not used before, and I’m enjoying this new recipe experience, made some great tasty dishes.
Veg has been good especially potatoes

They deliver every week with fresh vegetables. So !sucmuch better than supermarkets.delivery always very polite and brings the box into my kitchen.

There is a good choice and the food is deliciously tasty and wholesome. I love the recycleable packaging. Deliveries arrive in the electric vehicle. Brought to my to door and now I don't need to go to a supermarket ever again.

So happy that I can rely on them for my weekly vegetables instead of the ordinary supermarkets and they deliver straight home...great variety, friendly people and fantastic recipes. I also like that they continue innovating and bringing new vegetables that are consumed more in other latitudes and by other cultures, but that can adapt really well to the UK soil and weather...

Everything is so tasty in comparison to mass produced packaged salad and vegetables

Been a Riverford customer for several years now, but this summer has been incredible fruit, raspberries are supreme, the best ever in my opinion, sad the season is almost over; black figs from Catalunya are simply divine, blueberries full of the good beneficial nutrients so often lacking in other plants.
We are in the Midlands, so the milk and cream are sourced from Acorn Dairy in the northeast. The cream is beautiful; we don't order the milk though as RF only have Acorn's homogenised, ( we source organic, PFL, raw elsewhere).
Ordering, along with ability to make changes, including qty, skipping a week, adding and removing, is fantastic. Never tried the option to request alerts on 'dislikes', but we keep on top of this easily enough. It seems strange, but as with all things online, the live chat response is quicker, despite being the same staff that respond to emails.
Personally, find it best to contact customer services by email, despite having to wait up to a week for a response, it's always dealt with professionally. Phone calls can involve a lengthy wait, but dealt with as is usual to anticipate even though, responses are skewed in favour of the business, as opposed to the customer. Although, must say, good will credits and refunds are fair.
A big shout out goes to the delivery driver though. We have a wrought iron gate inside a bespoke iron goalpost, which is attached to the house, many deliveries are impossibly loud with slamming, but at between 3.30 and 6.00 am, never once have we been disturbed by Riverford's driver! Even with the changed day of delivery, (maybe last year or so), the delivery time was consistent. As a new customer, we were served by a north Leics depot, subsequently, changed to S. Yorks, which has meant we've never met Jono, to personally talk him!
With respect to farmers and growers, I believe especially the growers, have a better deal with Riverford than any huge corporate supermarket, so it's worth paying a little more. Balanced against, time involved, fuel and parking costs, with Riverford, their is no delivery charge!
All the pluses negate any negatives with Riverford.
