Bought an item for £285 and when I received it was disgusting and not fit for purpose. It was described as mint but items were tarnished and the Box was faded and discoloured. I returned the item at my own expense and am still waiting for a refund 10 days later. They're quick to take your money but slow to refund you. Will never deal with them again.

Very pleased with my limited edtion 2 oz silver proot pink floyd coin, arrived earlier that expected.
Only concern was, i paid £9.00 for secure postage that needed my signature, and as i was away on holiday when my coin arrived the royal mail left it by my front door! I arrived home four days later and luckily it was still there. I did send a message of complaint to the royal mail and never received a reply.I also informed the royal mints customer services department, as i felt you needed to be aware of such a poor service by the postal service that you are using and charging buyers , thankfully i hsdnt ordered the 1 oz gold proof coin !! Love the coin i received but VERY dissapointed with its delivery, will be wary when ordering again any item of value

Easy to order and arrange delivery. The coins came in lovely presentations boxes, but first impression upon opening was that the coins were smaller than expected compared to other gold coins I had purchased previously. Next time I will try to study the coin size in advance. There is a bewildering choice of coins so it does help to know what you are looking for I find.

Ordering was easy, communication has been spot on and the coins have been well packed, tracked and delivered quickly after release.

I am always impressed by the order processing by The Royal Mint. I can deposit funds, withdraw funds, place and receive orders swiftly and efficiently. If only more organisations were as good as this. I only use the service a few times a year, but I am really happy with speed of despatch, packaging, product, etc.

Item was great gift slightly marred by damage through delivery

Purchased a limited edition coin, took more than a month to be delivered with no communication at all, eventually contacted them via online chat and was told long delays were ‘normal’, this is fine as long as it’s communicated, either a comment on the website or an email saying there would be a delay. It was a gift but fortunately purchased in plenty of time but still poor service for such a big company

The coin itself was tiny, understandably I should have read the description but the pictures were misleading

Purchased the Pink Floyd tribute coin (colour version). Very lovely item. Was a much appreciated gift. Process was smooth and easy. Slight downside that it took a number of weeks to arrive. Maybe because they had only just been released. Best to check if you need something urgently. Perhaps other items are available immediately.

I ordered two specific coins from different collections as gifts for family members. I placed the order on 21st April. It is now 12th July and I kid you not when I say I have been chasing for the delivery of these two coins since then. All I get is email after email from customer services saying they are about to be dispatched, they're being chased, they're going to come this week, they've been marked as urgent, etc. etc. If it weren't the Royal Mint, I would have this down as a scam. But it's absolutely shocking that this has been nearly 3 months of chasing and I still don't have them. I'm only holding out rather than requesting a refund, because one of the coins is part of a 3 coin set and I've now got the other two. But I would urge extreme caution in buying anything from them - they're shambolic and one part of the business doesn't seem to communicate with the other.

I received the first instalment of The Lord of the Rings 2026 UK 50p Silver Proof Colour Seven-Coin Collection today. Although all the coins I have received in the past from the RM have been excellent, I must admit I was wonderfully suprised at how beautiful the 1st coin is. Enclosed in a weighty, glass case it looks and is fantatstic. I enjoyed reading the narrative booklet with it (it took me back 60 years to when I first read the books). I will treasure this and look forward to the rest of the coins.
