If you would like to buy anything from The Royal Mint online and wish to obtain it as a gift for a special occasion, or even if you hope to obtain it prior to shuffling off your mortal coil! My advice is seek to buy elsewhere. The time it takes them to sort anything out is at best laughable. The clue is in the fact that once ordered, without contacting them you cannot cancel an order, I truly hope that people read this if only as a measure of how far in advance you should consider ordering in a modern world where everything else turns up moments after ordering said item, the royal mint feels like a 10th birthday present may show up for a sweet 16! For their child..............

Great looking coin and fast delivery

The Royal Mint was great to work with. Due to recent restrictions I was unable to purchase anything from the online store because I live in the US. I contacted The Royal Minit customer service team and they gave me instructions on how to call and make an order over the phone.

Once I received my package it was well packaged and the coin AMAZING quality.

I WILL be ordering from them again.

Ordered a Wallace and Gromit coin for my mum as a surprise on the 18th June, for a week the order was ‘pending shipment’ so I contacted them and was told that it will be dispatched shortly, 2 more weeks later and still nothing. Almost 3 weeks and I’ve seen people
receive their coins when they ordered after me!

I very much object to a nazi loving , coward/deserter's head / profile being displayed in Gold between 2 Fine, legitimate Kings of England ..will you be considering a Gold Coin for the great peacemaker ,trump.
Shameful decision.

On the 3rd of June, I placed an order for the subscription for the lord of the ring coins for my wife. £25 has been taken from my bank but there's been no confirmation of when it's been acknowledged. There's no information of when the coin would be coming and apparently I'm being asked to leave a review.... I don't understand what I'm being asked to leave a review for, the coin that I don't have which has been paid for or the free toothfairy letter that seems like I've paid £25 for 🤔 for the lack of information I wouldn't recommend this site at all, save your money and your time and go elsewhere. Poor service and conduct all round. This has been 27 days since the payment was taken, when the subscription was actually set up was before this date.

The quality control is poor, the coating did not cover the full coin face. It appears shifted on the coin and the edges of the letters are not covered. Being outside the UK all the delivery charges are on the customer. This means I'm out £25(47CAD) to end up with nothing.... This is a quality control issue at the Royal mint and I will not be placing any future orders.

My first experience ordering from the Royal Mint was for the Wallace and Gromit coin. Easy to make an account and the ordering process was quick and simple. Delivery was quicker than advertised which is always a bonus.

The website was easy to navigate and place an order. It arrived in the timescale promised and the coin is well made and beautiful.

Waiting on delivery of the Pink Floyd coin, got tracking info which says received in Sheffield royal mail sorting office and expected delivery was 15th June, we are now on the 29th June and still nothing. No further updates from either royal mail or royal mint, emailed Royal Mint for assistance still nothing received. Will not be buying from them again.

I absolutely hate having to have an account,having to set up passwords .the process was not quick,it was a bloody pain.
I bought a coin as a gift,if it wasn't I would not have bothered.
However,I was informed 3 working days for delivery,and my coin was delivered at the end of the next day
This was a suprise,the coin was packedged really well the coin is brilliant.
