I ordered three smoke alarms a heat alarm and a control unit. All arrived together, on time and well packaged. I found it easy to follow the instructions to pair all the items together and when tested everything worked as it should. Fitting the items in their respective places was straight forward with all fixings provided. They are small, neat and unobtrusive but very loud. I had no need to ask for help at any point. I am a 78 year old widow!

I’m still waiting for this item. Went on their chat to be told it wasn’t in stock when I ordered it and the shipment is delayed until 19/4. When I asked why I wasn’t told this the chat went off. Hung up obviously. So I’ve no item yet! Ordered on 13/3.

DraughtEx is a really great product and really great service from Safelincs. Very easy to install and works perfectly.

The order process with Safelincs was good but the quality of the FD60 firedoor I received was not. The top and bottom of the door was just wrapped in clingfilm, offering no protection during transit hence the veneer was badly chipped along the bottom. It was also meant to be primed for painting but parts of it wasn't. Safelincs dont manufacture the doors only supply them but that's little consultation.

I received a faulty unit. The customer services team were great and extremely efficient in sorting out a replacement, it arrived the very next day and they even speeded up my further order for no extra cost. I am extremely impressed. Only reason I didn't give five stars was the batteries sold with the units need to be Duracell. The batteries supplied with the units are useless (not Safelincs fault).

Easy to order. Fast delivery. Well packaged. Fitting wasn't easy as the electrical connection did not go on anywhere near as easily as shown in your video. Quite a lot of force was needed, so much so that I thought I had purchased incorrect alarm. Perhaps this should be pointed out on video or in instruction leaflet.

The Safelinks product and service were good, however they use Evri as a courier who are unreliable and provide an abysmal customer service. My package was delivered to a different address on a different street and the only reason I got it was due to the kindness of the occupant of the address it was erroneously delivered to.

Inherited a wired fire alarm system on house purchase years ago and the back-up batteries have gradually needed replacing. Happened to look at the base plate and discovered that they were now 13 years old and should have been replaced after 10 years. Didn't fancy rewiring the house or having to fit a new type of alarm, then have to repaint the ceiling, but discovered these from Safelincs. A replacement that looks a little different, but fits the base plate and connectors perfectly. Three bought and fitted in about 15 minutes with no drilling or wiring needed. Brilliant!
