Vivian, our property manager, did an amazing job handling any issues during our tenancy, answered any questions we had, and managed all the necessary communications with our landlord.

At the end of the tenancy, the inventory check and deposit return were done without issues.

Would recommend Savills as an agency, if you are looking to rent in London.

I recently ended my 4-year lease of an apartment that was managed by Savills. My experience was great - I found the apartment that met all my needs quickly and throughout my stay all issues were being resolved and attended to promptly and professionally. In the past year Angus helped me quite a lot, for which I'm very grateful. Highly recommend!

Very disappointed with the Savills Richmond branch. I appointed them to sell my property last year, after another agent had failed to find me a buyer. This was actually the second time I had used Savills, having previously instructed them and experienced the same problem — several viewings but no realistic offers.

After a few viewings, including some that I felt were a complete waste of time, I decided to appoint a different agent. One prospective buyer had not even put her own property on the market, yet continued to ask numerous questions and wanted to revisit my property several times. I found the situation frustrating and felt that better communication and qualification of potential buyers could have avoided this.

There were also several other aspects of my experience that I found particularly disappointing. On one occasion, one of the Savills agents failed to lock my property after a viewing, which I found completely unacceptable.

I was also repeatedly told that the lack of interest was because my asking price was too high and that I should reduce it. Having already experienced this type of advice from other high-street agents, I was not convinced that reducing the price was the right solution.

Finally, when I informed Savills that I wanted to terminate my contract, I found the director's response quite rude and abrupt. He told me that he would "chat in two months", which came across as extremely arrogant, as though he assumed I would return to them after failing to sell.

How wrong that turned out to be.

I subsequently appointed another agent who was honest, trustworthy, transparent and a genuine pleasure to deal with. Not only did they find me a buyer quickly, but I achieved a **higher price**.

This experience has completely changed my view of high-street estate agents. In my experience, Savills were all talk and very little action. I would not consider using them again for any future property dealings and would strongly recommend doing your research before choosing an agent.

From the moment we met Jamie (Stephenson) from the Chelmsford office, we knew we were in safe hands. He was very knowledgeable about the local area which meant we had a meaningful discussion about pricing levels from the offset. His marketing strategy was very considered and resulted in exceptional levels of interest, numerous offers (above asking price) and a “sale agreed” in record time. What sets Jamie and the Savills team apart was their personal approach throughout the purchasing process. All parties were kept informed throughout and when needed, Jamie applied the necessary pressure to move the initial agreement to exchange of contracts. His pragmatic, diligent and level headed manner instilled confidence throughout and we are very grateful for his expert and skillful guidance.

She was super helpful and kept me updated on progress as the refurbishment progressed as well as helping me to get the required service from the builder and insurer.
