We've been renting in London since 1998 and have been in 8 different homes during this period. Ritesh Gopaul from the Richmond-Upon-Thames office has been hands down the best property manager we've ever worked with. He's polite, professional and most importantly extremely responsive to our enquiries. You'll be lucky if he is assigned to your home.

It was a pleasure working with Savills, and with Megan Herity. She was so quick and efficient and it made the whole processing of buying a home a lot easier. Would definitely recommend.

Kevin Swanepoel really stands out. We’re empty nesters going through the downsizing process, and despite our budget being fairly modest for the area, he always made us feel valued. He was always reachable, turned queries around quickly, and was accommodating and genuinely decent to deal with — with a refreshing dose of straight talking.

Trust is the word that comes to mind. Whilst buying this property via Savills, we were selling our previous home via another agent who often felt adversarial, at times seeming to play us off against the buyers rather than represent everyone’s interests. With Savills and in particular, Kevin, we had none of that — he was straightforward and on our side throughout, which made a stressful process feel manageable. No spin, no fluff, just an honest, hands-on approach. Can’t recommend him highly enough.

I'm here to write this review as Savills is currently employing a 3rd party company called HX car park managment limited across multiple of there retail park properties. This company are well known for there shady business practices and borderline extortion. They have a whopping 98% 1star reviews.

Its an absolute disgrace that a company like Savills would use this 3rd party contractor. DO BETTER.

Unfair contract clauses. Having used Savills back in 2020 on a tenant find only basis, I have been paying Savills a percentage of the rental income almost 6 years later. For this tenant find service there should only be a one off fee. Savills were paid up front for the tenant find service and additional for referencing and contract set-up. It's unfair therefore to demand a percentage of rental income when there is no service attached or cost to Savills. Secondly, Savills were charging me £57.60 annually to register the tenants security deposit. It actually costs £27.50 to register the deposit with one of the government schemes and this is a one-off cost at the start of a tenancy. There is nothing more to pay regardless of how long the tenancy lasts, 6 months or over 10 years. It makes it very difficult for landlords to keep rents as low as possible when Savills operate in this way. From experience Savills is out of step with other agents on this. In these very tough times for both tenants and landlords, I urge Savills to look at your contracts and eliminate unfair and phantom charges and costs. I certainly won't be using you again until you do.

Really excellent rental property management - especially Muhammad Carr, who is super pleasant, effective and responsive.

Jodie Simpsons is a supremely excellent kind patient young lady, which has made the process of moving for us extremely easy and beautiful! I have nothing but respect, admiration and appreciation for such kindness and customer service!

Contacted Savills regarding 2 properties about 2 weeks ago. Currently going through a long term breakup but also found out the ex is interested in the same properties. No response at all for either of us. called and no answer. I have given up and now sorting something with another agent. Obviously too busy to help people that need a home. Both properties are still showing available today.

After taking ALL the money upfront, I was given the keys to the property which was not cleaned, no furniture as requested, the fridge not working, washing machine water supply not working. The wooden floor and the wall skirting has gaps and mind you this is a ground floor property. The biggest issue is that there's no responsible response from this agent. Very frustrating experience.

They took over from another estate agency and never bothered to communicate with me and yet there is two houses yet they decided to communicate with my neighbour because they’re white and I’m black.
I had to call them to ask for banking details to pay rent and still never bothered them.
Called in about a fridge freezer replacement and the contractor came but was given the wrong address by the agency, incompetent and rude. Called them and a guy called Chase from the Oxford or botley branch ,after I introduced myself he hung up the phone then I called HQ in London and they told me they will call back but never did .
Overally ,they choose who to help based on ethnicity.

I had a great experience in the past year. Thanks to my property manager Angus. He always gave me quick feedback and advice when I needed help.
I may still choose Savills when I need to rent a new home.

Amazing experience being a tenant in property managed by Savills. Special mentions to Cato. You highlight any issues to him and he ensures the same are actioned and being addressed in less than 24 hours. Previously I have struggled with other agent but it has been a seamless experience with Savills. Quick service and very professional behaviour.

I recently had an ongoing issue with maintenance in my apartment. Isla was extremely attentive and responsive from the very beginning. She quickly arranged for a contractor to investigate and kept me updated with clear, helpful information throughout the process.
What really stood out was how Isla went above and beyond — thinking outside the box to coordinate checks and escalating the issue to building management. Her communication was professional, proactive, and genuinely caring.
