Dealt with both Darren's. Very pleasant and not pushy. Made a purchase and all went through with no hassle.

The store Assistants was very knowledgeable on the items we ask about , he show us how to work the different things that the sofa did we also like we could used the battery power fittings , which I like alot as I don't like Lots of cable showing , also like I could get the sofa we got in the colour we like better

Overall a very pleasant experience in SCS/Poltronesofa Dundee today. Spoke with Paul who let us look around without the pushy sales talk but was on hand if we had any questions. Nice furniture and even nicer staff.

My friend and I visited the Dundee store, warm welcome from staff member sorry forgotten his name,he told us about the sofas and chairs and the ways they can be organised to suit,he left us to look around at our leisure and when I found one I liked he told me all I needed to know and total cost and time it would take for delivery, left the shop very happy.

Darren who helped me was really brilliant and really good knowledge of what I was looking for and so looking fwd to getting my chair.

James was a great guy explained everything gave us plenty of time to decide no hassle will definitely go back when I need anything else

Salesman very knowledgeable and a good help for us,said we would get order in July so hopefully that will be the case

Paul was a great help, showed us all the sofa layouts that we asked for and also took the time to explain colours, functions and sizes. He was friendly and very professional and his knowledge was fantastic. All the staff in the showroom were welcoming, friendly and approachable. Highly recommended. 5 Star service.

Watch our for dodgy sales tactics when purchasing a sofa from this company...

Graeme from the Dundee branch sold the sofas to a family member, met us as we went through the door, explained the ranges in stock and added that they come with a protection plan but failed to mention that the plan would come at a cost to the customer, made it sound that it was all included and with the free delivery.

Spent a fair amount of time in store, discussing purchasing the one that was wanted and agreeing that having that protection plan coming with it sounded like great offer.
Graeme sat with his tablet filling out the detials of the sale, he did not explain the terms and conditions of that sale and he just handed us the tablet to put a "squiggle in the box to complete the sale" as he put it.
We left the shop content and went home.

When the email came through later that evening and we noticed that all was not as it seemed earlier that day, we noticed that on the invoice there was a price for the plan which was not explained to us and on top of that he didn't tell us that he had accepted the terms and conditions that would not be able to cancel the order and since he had withheld information we were locked in that sale.
We returned to the store and made our complaint with him, I requested a ma manager to which he said he was the manager, he also made it clear that there would be no refund/cancellation as it was in the terms and conditions that he hadn't told us about, he would only take the price of the plan off the cost but didn't recommend it as it covers unlimited repairs, so so it was not a good idea. He did apologise for simply missing out the important information that the plan came at a 12% cost to the customer, however I don't quite believe his lip service as he used it to get the sale in the first place.
As a manager that kind of sales techniques is poor and makes a customer feel ripped off.
We will certainly not buy another sofa from them ever again and I'll be sure to make the message loud and clear to others for the future.

This was our 2nd visit to store and spoke with Paul - 1st visit Paul explained all about the sofa we were looking at and told us to take time making a decision - 2nd.visit we spoke with Paul again and he went over things again and took us through the process of purchasing our sofa - Paul was not pushy and was very knowledgeable and I could not recommend him highly enough .

Darren was exceptional. He was not pushy but respectful and patient throughout all of my visits. He listened well to my needs and thoughts and supported me to choose what I think will be the perfect sofa. If there is a salesman of the month award in your company he definitely deserves my nomination. Hopefully the sofa will live up to my expectations

Just watched rip off britain SCS should be helping people with there complaints, its awful you just get left, i bought a sofa last year its looks like its 5 yr old all wrinkles already camplained nobody wants to know, same for couple on rip off britain, never buy again from this shop they just take money and dont care E Hendry

I was made very welcomed to the store by Darren. Explained how your system worked and asked what I was looking for and took by to what I had asked for. Ordering was very easy and when I phoned the store later to add a further chair that proved no problem. I now look forward to my delivery.

From the moment we entered the store we were made to feel welcome and Darren was extremely helpful
and knowledagable with helping us choose the right sofa and chairs for our needs .

My fiancé and myself ordered 2 sofas in store (a three and two seater.) When we went in to pay the remaining balance a week later we found out the order was put through and 2 three seaters which we definitely did not ask for. Due to being outwith the 2 day amendment period this could not be changed which is very frustrating/disappointing. The order should have been correct in the first place and should not have needed to be amended.

If you are looking to buy a sofa from here make sure it’s what you asked for within 2 days so you don’t face any disappointments.
