Buying my home policy was very easy and the quote came in sooo much cheaper than others on a comparison website. All the usual situations are seemingly covered but obviously won't really know for sure if they are a great company unless I have to make a claim! On price, though, I rate them 5+ stars.

I’m happy with my insurance cover. However, taking the money nearly 3 weeks in advance of the renewal date is not acceptable.

Great price for insurance but ended up being charged for cancelling my policy after asking to cancel my claim - sounds reasonable right? But bear in mind my car was totalled by an at fault driver, 100% their fault, their insurance didn't argue and paid out, yet Sheila's Wheels still charged me their pound of flesh. A shame as won't be a return customer but would have been otherwise.

Absolutely terrible communication. Complete non fault accident. Paid extra for like for like hire car. Told to wait till decision made on car. Car written off only found out because car recovery company told me they were collecting. Keep asking for clarification on accepting hire car. No answer. Stuck without transport for foreseeable.

I wanted to get hold of proof of no claims, from my policy back in 2021. Firstly, i tried the online webchat function- which was painful.The gentleman was from India (the name implied so), and he kept on taking ages to respond each time. He said details will be emailed in under 24 hours and never were. A week later, i telephoned (again and ordeal), and spoke to a lady again, from a non-english native country - who struggled to understand me, and me her, despite repeatedly spelling out details. 20 mins I was on the phone for, for a simple, proof of no claims. I found it a very frustrating experience! I think if you dont have to deal with customer services, its a great service, but if you do - its painful. I dont recall the experience this bad when i was a policy holder - for starters- customer services was UK based. Im sorry but its important to have customer service agents who can speak/understand English clearly and articulately.
