I was with Sheila’s wheels last year and it was very easy to communicate if I had any issues or changes, I then decided this year I’d change as I’d found a cheaper quote, well cheaper is not always better, within a month of being with that insurance I cancelled and now I’m back with Sheila’s wheels

Was rear-ended by another vehicle. Due to the unique way Shelia's wheels work, I had to pay my excess to get the car repaired despite not being at fault while they claim back the whole cost from the other party. Except they forgot to claim my excess back and only recovered their costs! I was left out of pocket for 4 months assuming there was some legal hold up. However, the worst part of the whole experience is the website directs you to chatbots and 'chatting' with their advisors. Imagine being on hold, but instead you are on hold to someone typing. Also no department seems to talk to each other. Eventually I found a number to ring to find out the good news that they had forgot to claim my excess amount. They would have never resolved this until I called. Being furious about this service, I was told I would be called back by a manager on two separate occasions and this never happened. I am still awaiting compensation for being out of pocket £795 for 4 months through no fault of my own. The cherry on the cake is I have been sent a message about an auto-renewal quote and I can't cancel until I 'chat' with someone on their team?! Why can't I cancel on the website like most insurers?? Everything about the service is designed to make it too difficult to achieve anything and just give up.

Great price and I would use again. The only problems were the schedule of insurance was not visible until being brought. Just a preview of this and the terms would have been helpful . I had to phone as things were unclear and the voice recognition was poor and had to repeat myself various times

I renewed my insurance online through compare. Easy to follow instructions. Out of all the options Sheila's Wheels fit our criteria. Very impressed. Would use again definitely.
