Almost impossible to get hold of customer service.

I called at 1pm and was told that no one will be able to answer me before 5pm and my call was disconnected

First Alternative car insurance was a very competitive price through a comparison site. The website was easy to use until I wanted to use my email address that I also use for my home insurance, which is through Esure ( First Alternative and Esure are part of the same company). After setting up the account, I spoke to someone and tried to change the email address but was told this is not possible due to having already used this email address for my home insurance. My husband tried to use his email address but that had also been used previously for another of Esure's products. I am, therefore, not sure that if I take another of their products in the future I will need another email address. I am currently waiting for a technician to call me back to see if he can assist with the issue. As with most insurance reviews, I have no experience as to whether they will be good when I need to call on it.

Only just signed with them so cam only go off the little bit of experience I have, very easy to do cheap monthly payment and cheap upfront price.

Easiest insurance I’ve ever got. Exactly what it said on compare the market and didn’t even need to speak to a human and go over every single question 8 times like the others. Cheapest also. Genuinely best insurance I’ve ever had so so easy

Great cover for what I need a very reasonable price and it was easy to navigate around the bowser for what I needed. Once all the documents were sent to me it was very easy to find them and transparent in explanation. So far so good, highly recommend

I went on Go Compare they promoted your company.
The only thing I will find difficult because I am in my 80's I have to download all the details of the policy, other companies have been able to send hard copies through the post! is it possible for you to do this for me please.

I arrived to them through a comparation website (compare the market or confused, I don't remember). It popped-up as the most convenient by far. It was easy to follow all the steps. I hope I can use them for a long time. They even beat the Direct Line price for almost 50%. Therefore I switched from DL to them
