I have 3 broken pieces and a good panel…
I have 3 broken pieces and a good panel that looks like a piece of wood is rotted. And they are saying that the broken bits are just like that and even a piece is detached the delivery driver gave me a piece of wood and said this broke off and couldn't tell me where. The delivery was rude and very couldn't be bothered to be careful with a 809 pounds summer house and just roughly chucked it against My house not where it should of been carefully put. And shire are not bothered ive explained I cant look for the broken piece as I have someone coming to build it next week and they keep emailing for pictures and I cant do it as I have a wrist in a brace. But there not bothered. I would never of had this if I knew it was shires also they didn't deliver and I had booked all day off and then couldn't be polite about another delivery was going to say 3 weeks later. But I had this experience 2 years ago with shire shed and if I knew the hampton summerhouse was shire which I bought from Mayfair I wouldnt of bothered noone as any manners and ive been treated disgustingly and im a foster carer. So respect is respect.

I do appreciate the situation you’ve explained, especially with your wrist injury and having installers booked, and I completely understand your concern about this impacting the build for your children.
I’d like to reassure you that we are not dismissing the issue. From the images provided so far, some of what has been highlighted does appear to be within normal manufacturing tolerances and would not affect the structure once assembled. However, we do understand your concern regarding the separate piece that was handed to you at delivery, and we do want to ensure this is properly resolved.
As the building is supplied in sections, identifying exactly where that detached piece has come from is important so that we can send the correct replacement first time and avoid any further delays for you. At this stage, without that confirmation, we would be at risk of sending the wrong component.
Given your circumstances, the best and quickest way forward will be for your installer to confirm the affected panel during assembly next week. As soon as they can provide a clear photo and the part reference from the instruction manual, we will prioritise this immediately and arrange any required replacement without delay.
In the meantime, if you’re able to ask someone to assist with a quick photo of the loose piece and surrounding panels, we’re very happy to review this again in advance to see if we can identify it sooner.
I’m also very sorry to hear your feedback regarding the delivery experience — this is not the standard we expect, and I will ensure this is passed on internally.
We are here to get this resolved for you and will act as quickly as possible once we have the information needed to proceed correctly.

Lovely greenhouse and great customer service. Found it quite difficult to build, but I think that’s more due to my mediocre DIY skills than the greenhouse itself. Fantastic customer service who sent us out a replacement glass panel as we broke one during building.
Also, save yourself multiple weekends of work and buy the pre-painted version!

POOR DELIVERY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
The delivery of the shed was disorganised chaos. The man did not know what parts belonged to what shed and initially unloaded all of the parts for a different shed, which we luckily spotted. Mid-way through building the shed, we noticed several parts random parts missing. We had to go out and repurchase parts so that we could actually fix the roof to the shed. Shire are now refusing to reimburse us for this, despite the fact that this is all a consequence of their poor delivery service in the first place. The only solution is sending me replacement parts that I no longer need. There is a complete disregard for the inconvenience that has been caused as a result of their sub-standard delivery process. The shrugging of the shoulders approach is extremely unattractive when I have now spent the best part of £400 on a shed and now wasting so much time going back and forth with the customer service team. Very disappointing.

We’ve reviewed your order and can confirm that replacement parts were arranged as soon as the missing items were reported to us and were dispatched on the fastest available service. Where parts are reported missing or required, our standard process is to supply replacements directly, which is the resolution we put in place here.
We do understand that, due to the urgency, you chose to source alternative materials locally in order to complete the roof. However, as we had already arranged replacements to resolve the issue, we’re unfortunately not able to reimburse third-party purchases made independently.
In terms of the delivery itself, the experience you’ve outlined is not what we expect from our delivery teams. Your feedback has been passed internally so this can be reviewed, as we do take these concerns seriously.

Excellent support from the team, anything missing and it’s sent out straight away, I bought the Emneth 10x10, doors are flimsy but in all I’m very pleased with it, I also bought a rubber roof and metal edges as the felt is not man enough for the building but I am pleased with how it all came together

From the information we have, you contacted us to advise of damaged parts following delivery, and we responded to request the relevant part references so we could arrange replacements for you as quickly as possible. Once these were provided, we were ready to send out the required parts in line with our standard aftercare process.
We understand you chose to source replacement materials yourself in order to complete the build without delay. While we appreciate the urgency, our process is to supply replacement parts directly, and we weren’t given the opportunity to resolve this for you before this was done.
In terms of the product itself, all of our buildings are manufactured from natural timber, and any concerns raised are always reviewed and addressed through replacement parts or remedial support where required.
We’re sorry again for the inconvenience caused and the initial delivery delay you experienced. Your feedback has been shared internally. If you would like us to revisit this with you, please contact us directly and we will be happy to assist further.

Thank you for your review. I’m sorry to hear you felt the delivery was slow.
I can see your order was placed on 20th March, and an email was sent the same day inviting you to select and confirm a delivery date. However, a delivery date wasn’t chosen until 15th April. By that time, our lead times had changed, which is why the next available slot was later than expected.
We always recommend booking delivery as soon as possible after receiving the booking link, as availability can change depending on demand.

Wonderful arbour seat delivered on time by very friendly driver. Good quality wood, good construction and very comfortable. Step-by-step construction manual is excellent - my partner can build anything and thought he didn't need it but... he did! The shed arrived mouldy, do not recommend
The shed arrived mouldy. Many panels were thickly coated with mould. We asked for £50 to cover the costs of the mould remover and solutions (receipt as evidence), but they refused to compensate us.
**In response to their reply here:
We took a sample piece to B&Q who confirmed it to be mould and they helped us find the right products for treatment.
We did not receive a pre arranged collection time or date.
We should not have had to have spent extra money on this already very expensive shed.

Thank you for your review, and I’m sorry to hear you were unhappy with your experience.
Having reviewed the images, the marking shown is consistent with surface mould, which can occur on dip-treated timber due to it being a natural material stored and transported in varying weather conditions. This is cosmetic only and does not affect the structure or durability of the building, and can be treated easily with standard timber cleaner or treatment.
We do appreciate this isn’t ideal to see on delivery, however in line with our policy we offered to arrange a collection and full refund. As the building has been kept, we’re unable to offer partial compensation, and any refund would need to be processed via your retailer.
With regard to the collection, this was booked in advance and notifications are issued ahead of time, although we appreciate your feedback regarding the timing.
If you do decide you would prefer for us to collect the building for a full refund, please let us know and we’ll be happy to arrange this for you.

Do not expect communication with delivery

We do send out a delivery notification on the morning of delivery, however I appreciate in your case this didn’t give you enough notice and caused inconvenience. Your feedback on this is noted as we’re always looking to improve communication where possible.
In regard to the beading, this is supplied separately from the glass and is typically packed within the main building components rather than with the glazing itself. From the correspondence, it doesn’t appear this had been confirmed clearly, so I can understand why this was frustrating—especially when the follow-up delivery only included the replacement glass.
If the beading is still missing, please let us know and we’ll get this arranged for you as quickly as possible.
