Excellent Greenhouse and Outstanding Customer Service
I'm absolutely delighted with our 8 x 8 Sunhut greenhouse from Shire. I'm so glad we opted for the 8 x 8 rather than the 6 x 8, as those extra two feet make a world of difference, giving us so much more usable space.
We also changed the silver hardware to black, which looks fantastic and ties in perfectly with the barn next to the greenhouse.
Having looked at a similar 8 x 8 greenhouse, which would have cost us an extra £1,000, I think the Sunhut greenhouse represents excellent value for money.
The customer service from Shire was second to none — absolutely excellent from start to finish.
All in all, I'm extremely happy with the greenhouse, the value for money and the service we've received. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both the product and Shire as a company.

The delivery was on time and the driver…
The delivery was on time and the driver was very helpful. The load was in perfect condition and laid out methodically for unloading.
The cabin was straight forward to assemble if you have some construction experience. Some of the timber was bent and warped but that is the nature of the material. Overall the cabin looks great and will do its intended job well.
The 19mm timber walls have a lot of deflection when lent against but that’s expected at this thickness.
We are happy with the product and service.

Really cheap felt
Really cheap felt. Nails for felt roof too short and popped out. Needs to be better quality felt and better nails... longer to tack in so they don't all bend and pop out when you try to hammer in.

No response to emails or phone call
I sent 2 emails with photos and made a phone call as well, just asking about the base requirements for a Shire garden building. I haven't yet had my question answered so haven't bought the item I wanted.

I'm regretting this purchase...
1. The log cabin has design faults that had to be managed by modifying on-site, adding bespoke timbers bought from local suppliers.
2. If you are 1mm out of level on the base, then expect trouble all around.
3. The A5 size instructions are hardly legible and miss out crucial details. (The poor spelling is a sign of the lack of quality control with this company).
4. The timbers are poor quality and are untreated.
Since writing this review I have been asked to provide more details or the review may be removed. I am willing to provide Trustpilot with the purchase order details but I am not happy about giving this info to Shire GB as I have already contacted them about the situations.
