After using international car hire firms, with all their add on charges and impersonal service, it was a pleasure to find a small privately owned car hire company that has one price and provides excellent service. The whole process from initial inquiry to the car return, was simple and uncomplicated. We will definitely be using Simila again.

Up until this point we have always hired a car from the well-known large international companies. With all the extras, insurances, complicated small-print and often impersonal service they provide, I decided to look around for a smaller independent to rent from. Simila could not have been better. They are excellent on price, there are no hidden extras or complications, just straight forward simple car-hire, just how it used to be many years ago! Simon and his small team are an absolute delight to deal with. They deliver on every level and hiring from them was a stressless joy. You pick up right outside the airport and return to the exact same place. No queues, no stress, no trying to sell you extras whatsoever! We have already recommended them to some friends who will be visiting Cyprus this summer. Just look at the positive reviews, they speak volumes. I just wish they were worldwide!

Have visited Cyprus many times and have hired lots of cars from both big companies and small on street outfits. Simila is the best, easiest experience of them all and will definitely use them next time. Excellent communication and all documents pre checked via Whatsapp. Delivery to hotel couldn't have been easier.

It was my first experience with family based car hire company. Several times before I rented cars in Cyprus with credit card deposit ~600-1000 € from bigger car hire companys.
Simila Cars has some advances compared to the ones used before:
1) no credit card or cash deposit. I even dont have credit card
2) you can fill all required documents by email, you save lot of time when collecting your car
3) for 28 days in march 2022 car rent was ~450€ (long term price)

Having hire cars in Cyprus on a number of previous occasions our experience had not been a good one.
We hired a Toyota Aygo for 3 days at short notice from Simila Cyprus. The car was delivered to our hotel on time as promised. The car was immaculate inside and out and following the user demonstration, Simon provided us with maps and suggested tour routes and eateries. The link to the Cyprus Maps.me satnav app was terrific and worked a treat. (As good as Tom Tom). Car ran faultlessly and the hire cost very competitive, even against the economy end of the car hire market but the customer service, quality, time and attention was as good as it gets. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We would highly recommend to anyone and we will use Simila Cyprus again.

best hire company iv ever used , great communication from start to finish ,

I already wanted to create a review but I forgot it until now. Last time we have rented a car from them during our annual Cyprus trip. Everything was smooth, the price was great and they also gave a few maps to recommended trips. It wasn't necessary as we know Cyprus very well but absolutely positive. My girlfriend is not Greek but they were fluent in English as well.

Best experience with car rental in other country. Very fair man who gives you a lot information. Also im used on driving on right side and he gave me good tips. In one word; PERFECT!!!

The car was there on time to meet me at the airport. As ordered and in good clean condition. Simon handed it over explained carefully the controls, the insurance and what to do in the event of an accident.
I hired the car for 10 days. It was trouble free and no problems at the drop off. I have dealt with all the major hire companies over the years and come across companies that rip you off with petrol charges at the end, give you unserviceable cars and leave you in the lurch when they break down. Simila Cars are exactly the opposite of the larger companies. They provide a good car and responded rapidly to my 2 changes of times for collection and drop off. I will use them again for my next visit to Cyprus. Outstanding company!!!

Excellent service . simon met us at airport so no waiting and same on return he was waiting to take car back. Car was clean and it was nice to know there was no block on our credit card unlike other carhire companies. Communication was fast for any queries we had .
Simon also gave us lots of leaflets with local info including money off vouchers for trips.
I will certainly be using them again when we return next may. Thankyou for all your help

Very service minded, easy and transparent company. Simon delivered our car personally on arrival in Larnaca. We did not have any problems but it was great to know we were fully insured ( first time driving on left hand side). Great in all aspects!
