Very good automated service to get my policy number. Then when the advisor (Lara) was available, my account issue was resolved in minutes. Really happy with the support I was provided!

Simply Health Customer Support. It's not good.
I have been with Simply Health for years. It's all changed. Not for the better. There is no obvious and clear phone number displayed on the website to call them on. I had to trawl through pages and pages of waffle and found a phone number in the 'bereaved' section where they must have to advertise a phone number by law or something. Then you get through to an AI Support robot and if you don't have your policy number to hand you have had it. You are not going further forward. After faffing around with the robot for 5 minutes I then got put through to a person. I was calling them to chase a claim as I had not heard from them and it was 6 days after I made the claim. I then got this sorted but only after finding they could not read the 'statement; I had submitted outlining the dental work I had last week. Thank god I called them to chase this. I then logged onto my account to see if I could locate my policy number which I could not. I had to ask the person I spoke to for my policy number so I could make a note of it. The whole 'support' environment is now set up to avoid speaking to customers directly as much as possible (and to make it as difficult as possible to get through). Because of my experience this morning I am now going to look at other Dental Plan providers and the only criteria I will base my decision on is whether that company has people who pick up the phone and speak to you straight away to deal with any enquiries or policy details.

I'm sorry to hear of your unhappiness with Simplyhealth.
Our Customer Service helpline number can be clearly found on our website with just two clicks. On the Home page, click 'Contact us', then scroll down to 'I'm an existing member' You will then be presented with three contact options. Live chat, online form and phone.
All of our calls are answered by a digital assistant who is programmed to answer many queries in the first instance but will recognise if the caller asks or needs to speak to an advisor.
Your policy number can be found very easily too. Click 'My account' on our website then log in the usual way. Click Policy, then Details. Your policy number will be shown there.
In respect of your claim, if further information is needed to validate a claim, comments are left on the claim entry and an email is automatically generated. You would be prompted to log in and view the comments left on the claim entry. I'm sorry if you were not aware of this.
Should you wish to discuss this further, please email us at customerrelations@simplyhealth.co.uk with your name, date of birth and home post code. Please also make reference to this review.

Good customer service with quick response.Simply health app is easy to use and easy to check your insurance details and claims. Simplyhealth also offers health and other discounts. I went with Simplyhealth as information was clear and app was an easy introduction to dental insurance

Push back on the AI chatbot to get a human.
I had account issues and made contact through the live chat - turned out I had a whole other policy I didn't know about and Charlotte was able to get me registered with my up to date details so I could put a claim through before the policy renews.

I can’t believe how efficient Simply Health are and how quickly they pay your claim.
Submitted claim at 12-39 and received notification that claim had been paid at 12-45.

The downside was that it was the second day I had try to speak to someone as having waited some considerable time on the first day.
Having said that after getting through to Louise the service was excellent. She was EXTREMELY patient and and reassuring with her assistance. Please pass on my gratitude to her.

Didn't like waiting 40 minutes on the phone to talk to someone as chatbox didn't understand the request to cancel. Only achieved by emailing as nobody picked the phone. Not customer friendly.
